10. Fear of stepping out. - (PBC@10)
Out of the Boat: Faith That Walks on Water
What’s keeping you from stepping out of your boat and answering God’s call?
In this bold and honest episode, we explore one of the most iconic moments in the Gospels: Peter walking on water in Matthew 14. It's not just a story of supernatural power—it's a blueprint for bold faith in the face of real-life fear.
We all have “boats”—comfort zones that give the illusion of safety but secretly limit our calling. It might be a secure but unfulfilling job, a broken relationship you're too afraid to leave, or even emotional walls built over time. Whatever your “boat” is, Jesus is calling you to step out onto the water—toward a life of radical trust and divine purpose.
Peter's journey shows us that miracles don’t happen in the boat—they happen when we walk toward Jesus. But that step isn’t easy. The storm raged around Peter, just like chaos surrounds many of us today: financial stress, fear of failure, uncertainty about the future. These waves scream louder than our faith—until we fix our eyes back on Jesus.
And here’s the grace: Peter sank, and Jesus immediately reached out. No shame. No delay. Just rescue. That’s the nature of God's love—it doesn’t require perfection, only surrender. Whether you’re walking strong or sinking fast, His hand is always within reach.
This episode is a wake-up call for anyone stuck in the boat. It’s time to stop watching from a distance and start walking in obedience. Your focus determines your outcome. When your eyes are on Jesus, fear loses its grip.
So, what’s your next step? What’s the boat you need to leave behind? And are you willing to trust Him—waves and all?
🎧 Listen now and rediscover what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.

Speaker 2:Yeah, god bless you wherever you are. We thank you so much for reading this literature. We're in this series no More Fear, in the book series and in the podcast series, and we're up to chapter 10. So if you're reading this now with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea, you're on a commute, you're just flicking through the book no More Fear. We are so blessed to say thank you so much for downloading the podcast as well. That goes along and runs parallel with the book and the podcast. We thank you so much from the very bottom of our heart.
Speaker 2:But it's this series that we're in and we're dealing with fear, we're dealing with doubt, we're dealing with uncertainty. We've looked at some really, really interesting characters through the Word of God and I pray that, as you've read this through and as you've listened to this through up to chapter 10 and podcast 10 in this theory, in this series, rather, no more fear. As you got to this position, I just pray that you will find that there is hope, because there is always hope. You know, fear is a very powerful emotion and we seem to sometimes just take it for granted that we got to keep it with us for the rest of our days, but through the scripture, through the word of God days, but through the Scripture, through the Word of God, the Bible addresses fear. The Bible deals with it a lot, you know, and that's what I love about Christ, that's what I love about following Jesus. You know, we have these yo-yo moments. We might experience great times of faith. We might even experience great and long times of fear. You know, psalm 23 really explains it. But as we're in chapter 10, so if you're on a commute, if you're listening, if you're on holiday just reading this through, or you're just at your desk or wherever you are at home, we thank you so much for downloading all of these podcasts in this series. No more fear. And the book title obviously is exactly the same. They run parallel together. So you can read this, you can read the text and also you can listen to it as well. But we're on our last part of this series at this moment in time and it's about peter. It's a very interesting character. This is character peter. We're pretty familiar with this guy. You know he pops up a lot in certain areas of scripture.
Speaker 2:But when you look at fear, what does it actually mean to you? What is fear in your life? How life? How do you look at fear? How do you deal with fear? What do you do when fear comes your way? How do you bring it to a place where you can move on? Sometimes we don't seem to move on. We just hang around in this fear beat. We hang around in fear. We live our lives in fear fear of the past, fear of the present, fear of what now? What's going to happen? You know, sometimes we can be fearful of smiling, because if we smile or we enjoy a bit of a laugh, we might think something is not normal and this is not right. This doesn't happen to me, because the world is driving fear.
Speaker 2:You know, fear is a real part, actually Fear is a real part of human experience and each and every one of us experiences fear quite a lot in our lives. Maybe, maybe as Christians and maybe as Bible-believing believers and John 3, 3, maybe we don't like speaking too much about it because the church, maybe that we go to they, don't like hearing it. You've got to be upbeat, you've got to be dancing around all day and shouting out the name of Jesus. But the reality of life, the reality of life, the busyness of life, and however life is and however life is woven together with you and whatever lens you look at life with, you know, fear is a very common and a very real part of being a human being. It is part of the human journey.
Speaker 2:We look at Jesus, you look at Mary, you look at Joseph, you look at Elijah. You look at so many characters through the Bible. You know, and you might be going for a real hard area of life at this moment in time, but we want to tell you right now that there is hope, there is light at the end of the valley. You might be going for a real dark experience, you know, but be faithful. Be faithful to the word. God is faithful to you and there are many characters through the word of God that were faithful. They were spirit-filled and important figures in the Bible, but the beautiful thing about it is that they experienced fear and it didn't disqualify them from God moving in their lives and God continued to move in their lives. The majority of the characters, you know. They had moments where they was completely in fear and in doubt and worried about situations, worried about life, even down to the fact of what is going to happen to us now. Jesus Christ is now to the cross of Calvary because they say we are going back fishing. So the disciples completely experienced fear and doubt in their lives.
Speaker 2:It's a struggle. You know anxiety, anxiety, that word you know it's everywhere, isn't it? You know the word mental health. We've got to deal with our mental health. We've got to deal with this, we've got to deal with that. And I'm just wondering if humanity is hitting a point now where we're actually tired of the word well-being. You know you've got to look after your well-being. You've got to do this, you've got to do that. But you know it can be so difficult because the drumbeat of life doesn't slow down. But we're told that we've got to look after ourselves. But I can't afford to look after myself because the food won't get on the table, the kids won't get fed, the clothing won't appear, the iron kids won't get fed, the clothing won't appear, the ironing won't get done, the the shopping won't get done, that the school run won't get done. You've got to look after yourself, you've got to look after yourself.
Speaker 2:It's very, very easy to say all this sort of stuff, but fear is in our everyday life. Fear is in our lives. Yeah, we might be bible believers and the spirit field and we're john free. Free, we're born again. God is moving in our lives and we got a great prayer life and we're reading the scripture, we're in worship, on the school run or on a commute and we're praising god but then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, out of nowhere, this fear feeling just drops in and and the uncertainty of it you know. But the title of this one that we're in at this moment in time and we're looking at this word again fear and anxiety, worry and doubt, it is all laced up together and the title of this is fear of stepping out, the fear of stepping out. Is there a situation in your life that you're fearful of stepping out and breaking free from a certain area of life?
Speaker 2:When you look at that great character that we're going to look at now and we're looking at Peter, he was fearful about stepping out. He heard the voice of God. He heard the voice of Christ. He knew he heard the voice. How often do we hear the voice through the word? Maybe, actually, maybe we need to just look at that a moment. Maybe we haven't heard the voice and we're fearful that we haven't heard the voice because other people in church and in ministry are saying I've heard the voice God is saying. God is saying, god is saying maybe we're not experiencing that, but maybe just a slight maybe, whoever you are across the world, just maybe that it isn't true the way that they are telling the story, maybe God isn't speaking to them in the way that he's speaking to them. You know, when you count on one hand, I can count on one hand how many times I've actually heard the audible voice of God, and it's probably just two throughout the ministry, throughout my life, throughout my walk as a Christian. You know so it's not every day and every second, every moment, but we've got to take courage. We got to take courage.
Speaker 2:You know fear of stepping out. Maybe that stepping out is stepping out from a, from a bad relationship, a toxic relationship. Maybe it's stepping out from a culture. Maybe it's stepping out from the family home. Maybe it's stepping out of a job that is really causing you trouble. Maybe it's stepping out of an educational situation. Maybe it's stepping out and being bold and addressing a few situations in life and not allowing the world to crush you and hold you down.
Speaker 2:You know the fear of stepping out, because this is what Peter was all about. He was fearful of stepping out, he was worried what the consequences could be. And that's how we are. You know, we're worried if, if, if I, if I take this leap, if I take this step, you know we're pretty good. Well, I, I should say myself I shouldn't label everybody else I'm pretty good at staying as a bit of a robot. The same mechanics every day, the same rituals, the same processing, and maybe we are fearful of breaking those rituals and those, those boards that we tread, the, the, the walkway of life, day in, day out.
Speaker 2:Maybe change has to happen and we're frightened of change, because this is what happened to peter. Yes, we understand it's a great story of faith, but alongside faith was fear, alongside doubt was fear, alongside, uh, the, is that Jesus? You know, maybe God has called us, maybe Christ has called us, and we're saying is that really him? Is this of Jesus? Is God really calling me to ministry? Is he really calling me to change churches? Now, that's another big area that can cause fear and doubt. Is God calling you to walk away from a certain situation cause fear and doubt? Is god calling you to walk away from a certain situation? But we are familiar with the situation and we don't want to leave the situation because we become comfortable in the situation. But actually we're not comfortable because we're in the situation, because we're frightened of change and what might happen if I make a mistake. Have you got one of those, those minds, that is, the 50-50 mind? I make a decision and when I've made the decision I think to myself is that the right decision? Have I made the right decision? What if I went back?
Speaker 2:The fear of stepping out and leaving certain things behind can bring a lot of turmoil. When Peter was in this situation, the waves were against the boat, the storm was blowing, everything was going on. It was a certain time and we've got to think. So let's just take a moment. If anyone wants to find these scripture references, we're in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, and the text comes from verse 22 to 33, and it's about Peter. It's about Peter stepping up and stepping out from a situation that he was very familiar with. He knew that boat, he was happy with that boat. That boat was his safe space. Maybe we've got a safe space that's like the boat, but we're frightened. But we know. We know that we've got to step outside of this small little boat and we've got to almost like, start to walk on water. We've actually got to take a leap of faith, but the fear is holding us back in this area, this holding area.
Speaker 2:Are you being held in a holding area of fear? You're frightened of stepping out, changing of a relationship, stepping away from a narcissistic way. Are you frightened of stepping out of a job? Because if I step away from this job, my mortgage and my life is attached to this and I can't earn the same sort of money somewhere else. And that's another area that we need to address, not to allow money to dictate to our joy. The joy of the Lord is our strength. What do you mean?
Speaker 2:See, we get caught in mortgages, we get caught in finances, we get caught in the rhythm of life and we sign ourselves up for this, we sign ourselves up for that, but then, all of a sudden, when we get stuck as this robot in this job and this workspace and this career, suddenly down the line, we realize to ourselves, actually, suddenly down the line, we realize to ourselves actually, this is my lot for the rest of my life, and suddenly we can become encapsulated, we can become consumed by this job and this job starts to rule me and suddenly I don't like the job. But I can't not like the job, I've got to be happy in the job and then suddenly I can't. I'm fearful of this job. And then what if I lose this job? And then the fear of losing the job, losing the career I can't lose this job because I've got X amount of wages in this. And if I lose this job, I can't even go for an interview, because if I go for an interview and I get a job, I don't have the gap and I don't have the financial means to have the crossover from this boat to another boat, to a place of safety.
Speaker 2:You know, we've got to be careful that we don't get trapped and we allow finances to drive fear in us. We've got to say to God God, I need you to help me to not stop worrying, to stop worrying, sorry, about money. I can't keep worrying about money, I can't keep worrying about the finances. Lord, this is taking a toll on my mental health because what fear does? It entrenches us and it puts concrete boots on us. And fear tells us that you can't leave the boat that you're sailing in. You can't afford to leave this boat. If you leave this boat. There'd be a crash. If you leave this boat, we'd be financially damaged. If you leave this boat, you know we're not going to be on safe ground If you leave this boat.
Speaker 2:We are familiar with this boat and Peter was familiar with his territory. But he was battling the winds and the rain and exhausted and they was fearful. You know, the storm hits in the middle of the night and they just come. And when you think about where they've just come from, they've just come from the feeding of the night and they just come. And when you think about where they've just come from, they've just come from the feeding and the 5 000. What a miracle that was. But he sends the disciples across the lake. He sends them ahead of him and I want to let you know jesus knows your journey before you know your journey. Jesus has sent you ahead, but he is with you.
Speaker 2:And if you want a bible reference, I'm picking this out of matthew, chapter 14, verse 22. It says immediately jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd. After he dismissed them, he went on to the mountain side by himself to pray. When evening came. He was there alone, but the boat was a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. Do you feel the wind of life is against you? The Bible says that Jesus pushed them away from the shore and he went and prayed. And the Bible says that the boat was a considerable distance from land and the weather was against it. The weather here is a is a metaphor of a spiritual life that is, of a chaotic way. It's not just a physical storm that we have, it is a mental storm that we have as well. Are you going through a storm at the moment? The outside doesn't look like it, but inside there is a storm within you and you know you've got to step out. But the fear of stepping out. This chapter that we're in is all about stepping out.
Speaker 2:This quick fired podcast, this quick fired chapter, is about leaving the boat and stepping out and walking on your own and walking towards jesus. But hang on a minute. What do you mean? Walking towards jesus? I cannot see jesus. He's not tangible, he's not touchable. It is not the physical christ like they had on this lake. I've got to go by faith, sister and brother, wherever you are, this is where we go by faith.
Speaker 2:Faith versus fear. Fear sometimes can override our faith and we become entrenched in this boat that is being swamped. We become entrenched. This boat represents so much it can be a job. It, this boat, represents so much it can be a job. It can be a relationship, it can be a home, it can be an education. It, this boat, represents so much it can be a culture. I can't step out of this culture because if I step outside this culture, I'm leaving those behind in the boat and I'm stepping out alone, and sometimes stepping out alone can be fearful on its own. So maybe the fear of stepping out has a many, a many a rhythm with that, a many alarming bells that are ringing in our head. But Jesus is with you, jesus is walking with you and God is calling you to step out, to step outside of that safety vessel. Are you willing to step outside the safety vessel?
Speaker 2:You know Peter's moment of audacious faith. Lord, he says, if it's you, call me and I will come and walk on the water. Come, he said, and without any doubt Jesus just said, come. And then Peter, all of a sudden, has got to leave his comfort zone. All of a sudden, we got to leave the workspace, we got to leave education, we got to leave this house, we got to leave this culture, we got to leave this certain rhythm that we've been living for so long now. We got to remind ourselves that Peter is so familiar with this boat. It was his home, so to he knew every inch of the boat, he knew every area of that boat. But just because he knew the boat didn't mean to say that he's got to stay in that situation for the rest of his life.
Speaker 2:You know, it takes great faith to leave the boat of normality. There's a crowd in that boat, there were people in that boat and sometimes we got to leave the crowd. But to leave the crowd takes faith. But to leave the crowd can mean fear as well. To leave the crowd means that we're leaving that behind and I'm making a new pathway for myself, because I've got to live by faith. I can't live in this boat. This boat is being battered. This boat is being knocked to the left and the right. This boat is being knocked all over the place by the storms of life, and this is a great metaphor. When you think about it, you know it's a physical storm. But they were saying. But there is a spiritual metaphor within this for life's chaotic ways.
Speaker 2:When we feel, when we feel overwhelmed, when we feel isolated and unsure, I want to tell you Jesus is near, jesus is with you. It's time to step out in faith. It's time to leave the boat of familiar territory. Jesus is calling you. But, as the title of this podcast, in this fear series, no More Fear, chapter 10 in the book, I'm scared, lord. I'm fearful of stepping out, lord. I've fished in this boat. I've spent hours in this boat. I live my life in this church. I've been in this church. I'm in the ministry, I'm in this house, I'm in this job. It's the only job I've had. Lord, I'm fearful. Maybe God is calling you to a different land. Maybe God is calling you abroad. Maybe God is calling you to theological college. Maybe God is calling you out of a culture. Maybe God is calling you out of a world religion culture. Maybe God is calling you out of a world religion. Maybe God is saying leave that job, leave that space, leave that come and follow me. But the storm of life is holding us down.
Speaker 2:Peter's moment of this audacious faith. He had to take the leap. Wherever you are at this moment in time. I want to tell you get ready, prepare yourself to take a leap, even when the storm is raging, even when it looks like everything is going to foul, even when the boat of life is rocking. I want to get you ready. I want to know that you are going to take a leap of faith. Don't stay in the boat, don't stay in this position, do not get swallowed up by the storm. But what happens?
Speaker 2:We're very familiar with this great biblical text he jumps and he takes the leap of faith. I want to encourage you to take that leap, to leave the boat. It's not fear anymore. Don't allow fear to hold you back, fear of stepping out. We've got to go. Lord, I'm jumping, I'm making a leap. I'm going to do this, jesus, because you're calling me, lord.
Speaker 2:I believe your word is speaking to me, lord, as I read this book. Lord, I believe you're speaking to me through these scriptures, through the gospel of Matthew. I believe through Peter's story, peter's life story, you're calling me to take a leap of faith and walk to you, no matter what. We know that science and logic and physics tell us no one can walk on water except Jesus, but no human being can do this alone, but the Bible says all things are possible to those who believe. So when you look at this character, he took that leap. He took that step. I want to encourage you now. Take the step, take the leap of faith. Take that leap of faith. Believe God is taking you. Believe God is leading you. Believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is moving you. Believe that God is taking you to a higher calling. Believe in the fire of God. Believe in the anointing. God is preparing you to leave the boat. Get ready to leave the boat.
Speaker 2:We're coming to a close of this podcast. In a moment, this chapter will disappear off the fabric of the page that you're reading. And when you close this book, I want to encourage you, from chapter 1 to chapter 10. I want to encourage you to walk by faith and not allow fear to drive you anymore, not allow doubt to hold you back. Peter looked and he said that is my calling, and Jesus is calling you now. Come, step out the boat, ben. Come on.
Speaker 2:Ben, I'm calling you. Don't look at the storm, don't look at the darkness around you, don't allow the fear to drive you, don't allow everything around you to dictate to you anymore. This is what we do through humanity. We allow the world on the outside to control us, to wrap us up, and we live our lives in fear, uncertainty and doubt. What if they said this? What if they called me this? What if I lost my job? What if I stepped out? What? Stepped out what, what, what? We are so good at saying what ifs, yeah, but, but what about? Yeah, but maybe I can't. You know, we can't allow ourselves to live anymore by fear.
Speaker 2:I've got to encourage you now, at the end of this book, at the end of this podcast, to take that leap in your life. You have nothing to lose. You have everything to gain. Pray about it, seek God over it, seek his face. Yeah, but we've heard this a thousand times, ben, I'm telling you read the word, read the word.
Speaker 2:Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of God. Hear the word, read the word, get in the word. God is calling you to jump out of the boat of normality and walk by faith. God is calling you now to walk by faith. God is calling you now, in the name of Jesus, to step out, to step up, to step in, to be bold in the name of Jesus to step out, to step up, to step in, to be bold in the name of Jesus, be that lion, be that warrior, be that braggadocious brother or sister, you know, do not allow fear anymore. You're on a journey, you're on an amazing journey and God is calling you out of the boat of normality. Let's get out the boat. Let's take that leap. We understand, we know the rest of theality. Let's get out the boat, let's take that leap. We understand, we know the rest of the story.
Speaker 2:He steps out and he does that good old, classic human being move. He moves for a moment, one, two, three, four steps, and then, all of a sudden, he takes his eyes off of Jesus. Do not take your eyes off of Jesus. The Bible says in verse 30, when he saw the wind, he was afraid and he began to sink, crying out Lord, save me.
Speaker 2:The moment Peter shifts his focus from the Savior to the storm, fear rushes in. As soon as I shift my focus from the Savior to the storm, I will sink. I will sink. He was above all these circumstances. He was above the storm, he was above the fear, he was above the doubt. But when I look around me and I look about me and I look outside of me and I take my eyes off of Jesus. Do not take your focus off the savior. Do not look at the storm. Keep your eyes on jesus. Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 2 keep your eyes on jesus, the author and the perfecter of your faith. Keep your eyes on jesus. Let me tell you again in this book, let me tell you again in this podcast keep your eyes on jesus, keep your eyes on Jesus.
Speaker 2:See, peter was that classic human being. He took the leap. He heard the voice, he recognized it. He said I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it. It was in church on Sunday. He said yeah, lord, hallelujah, jesus, I'm on my way. Jesus, this is it.
Speaker 2:Lord, monday morning comes. He jumps out Monday nine o'clock in the morning, he takes the leap of faith Half past nine, straight away. Hang on a minute, I don't know where I'm going to, I'm going to crash and I'm going to burn. He took his eyes off of Jesus Monday morning, straight out the bat. Sister and brother, do not take your eyes off of Jesus and just remind yourself. Do not take that focus off of the Saviour. Keep focused on the Saviour and not to the storm. You know God will rescue you even if, even if I'd done a pita and I started to wobble, immediately Jesus reached out his hand and he caught him. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and he caught him. See, we are wrapped up in him anyway. No delay, there was no delay from Christ. There was no lecture, just a rescue. Jesus rescues us all the time. But I want to encourage you now in the close of this book series. I want to encourage you in the close of this podcast series.
Speaker 2:Fear of stepping out, lord, I want to break this fear of stepping out. I cannot live my life anymore by fear and anxiety, worry and doubt, uncertainty. I need to live by faith. The Bible says the just shall live by faith. It's critical that you and I, you and I, live by faith, that we take hold of the scripture and we say Jesus, today's the day of radical faith. Today is the day, lord, when I ask you, lord, anxiety to go at the name of Jesus. Today is the day, lord, when I say fear, go at the name of jesus. Faith arise in my spirit, lord, let your glory come.
Speaker 2:As we've looked at before in their podcast and in this book series. You know, the joy of the lord is my strength. The joy of the lord is my strength. The bible says perfect love drives out all fear. God will rescue you. Jesus will not lecture to us, he. He is not on the delay drum. Jesus christ is ahead of our story because he knows our story.
Speaker 2:So what can we gather from this? What can we do about this? How can we make this into a personal reflection? Have you got to step out now? I believe you have. I'm asking you to step out because I believe God is calling you to step out.
Speaker 2:The waves are high, the sun is behind the clouds, it's quite gloomy. It's not looking good, but it is good, because I'm going to break out of this boat. I'm going to jump out and I'm not going to allow the situation of the storm to dictate to me anymore. I'm going to rise above the storm. The Bible says we shall soar on wings as of eagles. It's time to soar high. It's time to walk on water.
Speaker 2:It's time to put down the fear beat and say Lord, I am not allowing fear to stop me stepping out. I'm going to step out. I believe the promises that you have for me are greater. I believe the word is greater than anything in my life. I am going to seek the kingdom first. I am going to trust you for my finances, my family, my life, my mental health, my education. Lord, I'm going to trust you in my business. I'm going to give you the will of my steering wheel, of this car that I drive, known of life, lord, and I'm going to take my hands off the steering wheel because I want you to take control. I want you to take control of my life.
Speaker 2:Jesus, as we close this podcast, as this book series comes to an end, no more fear. Do you want Jesus to take full charge of your life? I do. I want Jesus to take full charge of my life. Let's invite him in. Yes, I know we're saved. Yes, he lives within us, but let's be bold and say Jesus, I can't live my life anymore by fear. I can't live my life by anxiety anymore. I don't want to be like Peter that was entrenched and trapped in a boat because of the storm. I want to be like him that had the faith to say yes, I'm walking towards Jesus, the faith to say yes, I'm walking towards Jesus, no matter what the consequence is in the world. Jesus Christ will rescue us if we think there is a failing ahead of us. But we can't foul because we're in the arms of Christ. We can't foul because we're in the plan of God. We can't foul all the time we are coming from.
Speaker 2:The instruction of the living word, the instruction of the scripture will keep us moving. If I come out of the instruction, if I come out of the word of God, if I do things my way, I'm going to be living more and more in fear and in doubt and in worry. But if I say Lord, I'm going to take a leap of faith, I'm going to keep my eyes on Jesus, I'm going to focus on you, lord, and I'm going to call the things that are not as though they are. I'm healed, I'm blessed, lord. I thank you, lord, that my life is well, lord, my house is good, my life is good because I'm a Jesus follower. Wherever you are across the world. However, you are reading this literature that we're putting out. However, you are reading this chapter 10 about Peter fear of stepping out.
Speaker 2:And for everybody listening to this in the world of podcast, I pray, as we come to a close, that the joy of the Lord will be your strength, that you will know that your Redeemer lives and because he lives, you can face tomorrow. That you will know that your Redeemer lives and because he lives, you can face tomorrow. Take a leap, don't hold back. Get ready to move because God is calling you, jesus is calling you out of the boat of normality and to live by faith. Wherever you are, we say stay blessed. Wherever you are, we say stay blessed. Whoever you are, keep pushing in the word of God.
