Where is Jesus? - (#1046 - Elim)
In this thought-provoking episode of the Unshakable podcast, Pastor Ben Cooper unpacks a timeless and deeply personal question:
Where is Jesus?
While it might seem like a simple inquiry, the answer touches every area of life—from faith in modern culture to personal spiritual transformation. Whether you’re questioning your faith, seeking deeper meaning, or simply feeling distant from God, this episode offers clarity, comfort, and direction.
We begin in the book of Genesis, exploring how the creation story sets the foundation for understanding salvation and redemption. The same God who walked with Adam and Eve still desires closeness with us today. But in a world full of noise, distraction, and competing worldviews, many believers struggle to recognize Jesus in the everyday moments of life.
Pastor Ben navigates this tension with honesty and insight. How do we experience the presence of Christ in a culture where faith is often sidelined—in education, government, media, and even church settings? And more importantly, how do we remain steadfast when the world seems to be moving further from God?
This episode challenges us to look beyond routine religion and discover the living Christ in community, in Scripture, in struggle, and in silence. You’ll learn:
- How the book of Genesis speaks to modern faith
- Why Jesus is closer than we think—even when He feels distant
- How to tune out distractions and hear His voice
- The role of faith in daily life, not just Sunday morning
- Ways to walk with Christ in a culture that doesn’t always welcome Him
Listeners are invited to reflect on their personal journey and ask:
Am I truly aware of Jesus in my life, or just going through the motions?
This episode also emphasizes the importance of community, prayer, and spiritual awareness. It encourages those who feel lost, disconnected, or uncertain to rediscover the active role Jesus plays in their lives—right now, in this very moment.
No matter where you are in your walk—on fire, lukewarm, or struggling—this message will meet you with grace and truth. The presence of Jesus is not confined to cathedrals or religious rituals. He is found in the quiet, the questions, and the ordinary moments of faith.

Speaker 2:God bless every one of you, wherever you are across the world today, and all of us in the Lord's house. May God bless you and strengthen you as we just gather for these few scriptures, for these moments, as we're just resting in the house of the Lord. We're going to turn to the Old Testament, we're going to turn to the book of Genesis, genesis, chapter one. Genesis, chapter one. Genesis, chapter one. And, for those that are looking for a title, you know where is Jesus. Genesis, chapter one, verse one, through to the end of right, about verse five. You know, and the title is for those that are making notes and for those online. You know, where is Jesus? That's an interesting question, isn't it? Where is Jesus? Where are you, lord? The political drum is being beaten. The church is just messing around, the church is just fading away. The church has no power, but the kingdom of God has full power. You know.
Speaker 2:You look at the educational system. What is the point of sending your children to school? What are they gaining? What is the point of education? What is the point of finances? What is the point of life? What is the point of all this stuff? You know, when you look at life, where is Jesus? Where is Jesus in creation? Where is he?
Speaker 2:When you look at all these world religions you know we mentioned Freemasonry. You look at all these these world religions, you know we mentioned Freemasonry you look at the occult world. You know all the devil's work and everything that's going on and, without mentioning all the the enormous list of world religions, you know all the stuff that's going on this morning. Everyone's serving their gods, but who is this God? Where is this Jesus? Who brought this world into existence? You know who is this God. Where is this Jesus? Who brought this world into existence? You know who is this God. Where did this Christ come from? Who is this God? Who is this Holy Spirit? You know, when you look at the world and you look at scripture and as you just get into the word of God, you know it is really, really important, if you have a Bible, to turn to the book of Genesis, chapter 1, genesis, chapter 1, verse 1, just the first five verses.
Speaker 2:It's really important that we open up the Word of God, because creation is what is needed in school, creation is needed in church, creation is needed to be preached about. Creation is critical. Why is creation critical? It is critical because, right at the first point. We have everything to do, obviously, with creation the physical realm, the spiritual realm, and also what we have as well is that realm where Christ dwells, where the Word of God is, where the power of the Holy Spirit is.
Speaker 2:When you look at Genesis, chapter one, we can look at it through science, we can look at it through physics. We can look at Genesis chapter 1, you know, we can look at it through science, we can look at it through physics, we can look at it through natural eyes, we can look at it just through educational value as well. But we can't look at Genesis as just an educational value or anything like that. Just God said let there be and there was. We've got to go further and we've got to go deeper and we've got to ask God, will you reveal?
Speaker 2:Because what is Genesis? We know it means the beginning, but it is far more than that. It is not just about creation, it is about salvation, wrapped up in the very beginning, right within the first four words of the greatest book the world has ever seen, the greatest book this world has ever seen. The world. There is no other book like this word, there is no other I will use the word religious book. Like this book, there is nothing like it in the world. It is supernatural, it is spiritual, it is practical, it is music, it is wisdom, it is poetry, it is judgment, it is guiding, it is power.
Speaker 2:Do we actually believe? When you look at the 22,000 denominations across the world, when we look at the denominations, do we actually believe that any one of us has got this right? No, none of us has got this right, because a denomination has been created by man. A denomination has been created by a human being. The church of england was created by a crazy king. Catholicism rolled out before that come out of Rome and then suddenly it's all spread the Pentecostal movements. We've got more Pentecostal. We're running out of buildings. The churches are popping up everywhere.
Speaker 2:But just because they're popping up, it doesn't mean to say that they are correct and they are right and they are true and they are moving in the power of the Holy Spirit. You know, religion is one of the biggest commodities across the world for drawing revenue in Religion. When you look at it, but we got to tell ourselves that we don't belong to the mechanics, we don't belong to the structure of it. Jesus Christ loves you, god loves you and we do not belong to the 22,000 denominations across the world. We do not belong to this religious organization. Yes, we are in an Elim building. Yes, I might be an Elim minister, but Elim don't own me. They don't own me and they don't own you and no one owns you. You belong to God. We've got to be so careful now as we enter into the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is coming, but we've got denominations popping up everywhere and we've got denominations failing.
Speaker 2:Just because the denomination is growing doesn't mean to say that it's growing in the right area. The only way that we can measure growth is is it growing in the Word of God? So creation is critical for school. Look at our children. What do the children actually believe in? What do the children believe in in this nation? What is the purpose of education? I can feel a whack coming around the back of the head and a few emails and a few texts coming down the line.
Speaker 2:But why are you sending your children to school? What are they getting from schooling? What is the purpose of school? Education is a limiter. Education will limit you. It has a ceiling level. But there is something greater than education and we know that word is revelation. Because you don't need an education, you don't need money, you don't need social media, you need Jesus Christ. So where is Jesus?
Speaker 2:There are many churches out there, there are many areas of denominations out there that don't believe in the fundamental truths of Jesus Christ. So why are you sending your child into a secular school to tell you can have your bits and pieces cut off and stitched on and do whatever you need to do and you can become. Why are we allowing our children to be robbed of what God has given them? Because the church has fouled us across this nation. It is not the political situation, it is religion. But we've got to remind ourselves that we don't belong to religion. We belong to the kingdom. We belong from Genesis to Revelations. So what is the purpose? What is the purpose of school? What is the purpose of school? What is the purpose of work? What is the purpose of church? Why am I here? Where is this Jesus? There are many denominations that don't believe that Jesus was at the very beginning of time.
Speaker 2:But I can tell you now, right now, four words in you will find Jesus. What does your Bible say? Your Bible says God, and so rightly so. But what does it say? If you turn with me up into the New Testament, into the New Testament, the Gospel of John, chapter 10, 29 to 33, turn these scriptures over and see for yourself. What do the Mormons believe in? What do the fundamentals believe in? What is does Catholicism? How can you lift up yes, I understand Mary and all that sort of stuff, how and what's the purpose? The Church of England, even the Pentecostal movement? So we're going to the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 29, through to 33. When you look at the scriptures, when you look at the word of God, jesus is behind every word, god is behind every word. It is the written word, it is a power of the word of God. So when your children go to school, what are they getting? Are they getting Jesus? When you go to college, what are you getting? Are you getting Jesus? When you go to work, are you getting Jesus?
Speaker 2:When you look at the political temperature, there's no way that Jesus is getting any air time in the UK government. They have made that clear right back in. What was it 1947-49, when they cut the umbilical cord from us to Israel? That was the greatest catastrophic event this nation has ever seen, when it cut the tie of Israel. We're not talking about the political tie, because that was a physical act, but it was more than a physical act, because the physical act is secondary. The prime area is the spiritual. So when that government at that time cut all ties and the way they cut that away, we have never seen such dark days as we've seen before. The Bible says pray for israel, stand with israel, be with israel, be strong with israel. And I'm not talking about the political israel, I'm not talking about the israel that we see, I'm talking about the biblical understanding of israel.
Speaker 2:The uk church and I'm not talking about congregations, I'm going to talk about the leaders. For a second, the UK church. We have more biblically illiterate preachers than we've ever had in time, every color, every skin, every attitude, every form, every shape. We are so lacking biblical preachers. There's woke preachers, there's weak preachers, there's the pound note preacher and there's the fake preacher. But what we need is the fundamental doctrines of grace coming across the pulpit If you've got the fundamental preachings and teachings of Genesis. Genesis is a foundation and there is a reason why it's known as a foundation, because it is the place, what we build from. But how often do we hear churches and preachers preaching from Genesis. Genesis is about salvation, creation, redemption and hope and power and how to live and how to treat, treat humanity and how to operate and to walk across the earth.
Speaker 2:We got the green energy deal crisis. We got all them wacky ones out there that are gluing themselves to tarmac and swinging from uh the london, uh from the, from the bridges, and doing all this sort of stuff from the dart Dartford Tunnel and blocking all that just to save the planet. You ain't going to save the planet. There's no such thing as the green energy deal. What they are serving is the God of the forest. Do you realize who the God of the forest is? The green energy deal Do you realize?
Speaker 2:The king of this nation is a tree hugger. He doesn't actually believe in Jesus Christ. He doesn't believe in the fundamental points of Christianity. It is lip service. So we have a king, we have a monarchy that doesn't know Jesus. We have an educational system, a massive percentage. Just because it's a church school doesn't mean to say that they know Jesus in there. So we have the political area. So the three areas of life education, church, monarchy and we'll add the fourth one into that the political four areas of life.
Speaker 2:Yes, we understand that the Bible doesn't talk about political, but what it talks about are leaders, ministers ministers, because that's their true name. They are known through the scripture as ministers, not politicians. That's the worldly terminology. God created these ministers and they are here to govern, to look after you and me as a human being, and to make sure that everything and every area of our life, all our needs, are met. And but they're not.
Speaker 2:Then you look at the monarchy. What does the monarchy do for the UK? It is one of the biggest drawers of finance and people from around the planet. They want to click a picture of Buckingham Palace and all that sort of stuff. The monarchy has no spiritual value. So when you look at the monarchy and you look at religion and the church as they go together, what do they actually believe in?
Speaker 2:So the question I ask myself, the rhetorical question where is Jesus? Is he in the schools? Ofsted said no. Is he in religion? Religion says no. Is he in the Religion says no. Is he in the monarchy? No, because we are looking at the life and the fabric and the framework of everything around us. So where is this Jesus in Scripture?
Speaker 2:If you turn to me and you may have read that John 10, chapter 10, verses 29 to 33, as you look at that Scripture, what does it say very clearly, it says that Christ says that myself and the father are one. So if you put your hand in that page and you go back to Genesis, the fourth word in says God and Jesus says very clearly and makes this is why they want to stone him. Because you're a mere man. The scripture says You're calling yourself God. They wanted to stone him because Jesus made reference that me and God are one.
Speaker 2:We need to tell the world that the deity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, cannot be separated the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We will see a form of I don't like to use the word separation, but where we see Christ take the more area of the leadership, the Holy Spirit will take more of a leadership and God will. So it's just a revolving way that we see scripture, but you cannot separate Father, son, holy Spirit, even when Christ was on the cross. When you look at that scripture very clearly, at the point when Jesus said it is finished and the Father turned his head, and you see all that stuff going on. That is not the spiritual separation. That is something that's completely different. So Genesis is fundamental for education. Genesis is fundamental for church.
Speaker 2:Genesis is key for every area of life because straight away you find Jesus and if you have the gospel in front of, you turn to the gospel of John, chapter one, very powerful text that I always make reference to because it is so strong. John, chapter one, verse one, in the beginning. Straight away, in the beginning, we got to understand the power of Genesis. Genesis is redemption. Genesis is redemption. Genesis is hope. Read John, chapter one, verse one. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. You can't find separation between the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Where do we find the Spirit? We find the Spirit in genesis, chapter one. Read it again in the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was hovering over the surface of the day and the spirit of god. So you have the deity wrapped up, wrapped up in two verses, within a handful of words. You have the father, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and all the way through the 66 books, the authors, the 40 authors, from Old Testament to New Testament. They write about Father, son, holy Spirit.
Speaker 2:Someone sent me something the other day that was absolutely unbelievable about this priest, how he, she, whoever they may have been. I don't know what they was packing or whatever was going on, if you don't mind me using that type of. I don't know what was under that cassock, but I know what was in their head was a load of baloney. When you listen to what they were doing in a church, church saying the most bizarre language. I'm not even going to repeat what they were saying. It is beyond human understanding, it is crazy, it is just, it is beyond wild, it is actually evil. So what we have? We have these priests, these ministers, we have these human beings wearing collars, wearing cassocks, that are led by Lucifer, led and driven by the occult world.
Speaker 2:So when we look at this, what is this scripture about? This scripture is about the power of the spoken word, because words are powerful. So when you look at that, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now, the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was hovering over the surface of the deep and the spirit of God. So straight away we've got the deity, the trinity, the fundamental points of Christianity, right at Genesis, chapter 1 and chapter 2. And it says the spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the deep and God said and then suddenly we start, and as you start to look through Genesis, it's mentioned over 20 times and God said, and God said, and God said, and God said, and God said, and God said, and then, when he had spoken everything, then something else comes into the arena and God saw. See, what is really really important, wrapped up in all this deep theological text that we are in at this moment in time, is the power of faith.
Speaker 2:Right at the very beginning of life, god is telling us speak over every situation, but don't just speak once. Keep speaking, because you've got to keep speaking. Father, in the name of Jesus, I'm healed right now, lord. This cancer is gone, this fear is gone, this doubt is gone. Father, I speak the power of your word into my life, over my body, lord. I thank you, lord, that my mind is working right. Lord, I'm walking right. Lord, I thank you that my bones are strong. In the mighty name of Jesus, thank you, lord, I'm rising out of the wheelchair. Thank you, lord, that you're providing that. You are making the way in the name of Jesus, lord. You're helping me, lord, through life as a single parent, whoever I am, whatever I am, lord, I believe in the power of the spoken word, because this world, this physical world that we are in, did not come into any other place in any other way.
Speaker 2:It would not come into action and fruition by a certain action that God done. See, it tells us about the power of speech at the very beginning of time. And God said and then we say to ourselves well, this is little I may. God, God has got a spoken and the world has formed and everything has happened. How's that going to be for me? Brother and sister, let me tell you you've got dynamite living inside of you. You've got holy dynamite living inside of you. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. But if we allow toxic people and toxic circles to link us together, all we're going to hear is negativity. All we're going to hear is you're never able, you can't do it. You're uneducated. There's no money. You're never going to be able to make it. Who do you think you are? Have you seen your life? Have you seen what's going on? See, words are powerful. Words will drive you down or words will either lift you. Words will create. What do you mean create If you have a Bible?
Speaker 2:Turn to Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 1. Now, faith is very simple, very basic the power of the spoken word. What is the language that I speak during the course of the day? Is it negativity or is it being positive? Spoken word, father, I thank you for today, lord. I believe today is a powerful day. Hebrews 11, spoken word, father, I thank you for today, lord. I believe today is a powerful day. Hebrews 11, verse 1. So Hebrews 11, verse 1 is a very, very interesting text. It is needed so much in my life because it is a word of faith. Now, faith is the substance the Bible says. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for.
Speaker 2:The evidence. Hang on a minute. What are you talking about? What is evidence? You know evidence, we understand what evidence means and we understand that we need evidence to prove. What is the evidence? That that chair is in front of us, Because my eyes see it. So I have evidence.
Speaker 2:So when you look at the scripture, we are here. Why are we here? Because we have evidence through our eyes that we are here, but there's a world outside of the physical realm and it's known as the kingdom and the spiritual domain where God lives. You know the church. In many cultures give more airtime to Lucifer than Jesus Christ. More churches give more time to Lucifer than God. It's really, really interesting what's out there at this moment in time. So we are watching decay. We are watching decay right within the core of the church. The church and I'm referring to the preachers I, us, we, whoever we are, need to preach the fundamental points of Christianity, the power of the spoken word. Preach the fundamental points of Christianity, the power of the spoken word. You know your life. God loves you in your life at this moment in time. But there's so much more for us. Do we realize there's so much more?
Speaker 2:But number 10, downing Street, will tell you that you can't progress as a human unless you're educated. You can't progress unless you've got a few quid in your pocket. You can't progress unless you drive a certain car or you speak a certain way, or you come out of Eton, or you come out of Oxford or you come out of a certain demographic. You can't progress if you come out of BR870X or there's not much hope for you. They would say to yourself. But let me tell you, it doesn't matter what your postcode is, it doesn't matter if your bank account is tipped upside down inside out, it doesn't matter if you are not educated.
Speaker 2:And that's irrelevant in the kingdom of God, because what is needed is this simple word Hebrews 11, verse 1, faith. See, church can stop you from getting to your goals, religion can stop you from growing. Because you look at religion, religion, the majority of of it comes against the word of God. Where will you find Mary being exalted higher than Jesus Christ? Where will you find the Church of England? Where will you find this evangelical movement, these Pentecostal movements? Where will you find all this stuff we put so much weight and so much of our lives get absorbed by church, by church, by church by church, and it needs to be Jesus, jesus, jesus, father, son, holy Spirit.
Speaker 2:So the text that we are in this morning is a very, very powerful text. Genesis, chapter 1, 2, and 3 and thereon is preparing the world for the spoken word and it is preparing the world for Jesus Christ. When verse 1, verse 2, and verse 3, especially verse 3, we've podcasted on it, we've sermonized on it, we've done expository, sermonizing through it, we've opened up Genesis, chapter 1, verse 3, and you'll probably gather understand what I'm going to say in a few moments. But in the so, just I'm dropping these scriptures out. You have a look for yourself. You see what it says for yourself.
Speaker 2:So I'm just going to speak in a minute about faith, but go back, if you will, to Genesis, chapter 1, verse 3, and read what it says for yourself. We understand that he's talking about the physical realm, but there's more than the physical realm. So when you look at Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 1, it says now faith. Now faith is the substance. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for. I actually believe that we've lost all hope. We have lost all hope. We are putting so much weight on the world to supply when the Bible says my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory.
Speaker 2:But if you want to be a radical Christian, it takes something beyond church. It means picking up the word of God. It means picking up the Bible. Do you want to see change? Do you want to see the dead raised? Do you want to see the lame walking? Do you want to see the blind seeing and the deaf hearing? Do you want to see this radical move that God has for each and every one of us in the last days.
Speaker 2:We're being prepared for the second coming of Jesus, but the eyes are on the political drumbeat, because the political drumbeat is the function that the devil uses. The devil uses the political area to do something very, very powerfully to take our focus off of what Christ is doing. Because political move is not a faith move. So all the time I follow the political agenda, I am taking my eyes off of Christ. When I follow Christ, I'm not living by my life, by natural perception, by the way of the world, because the Bible says in Hebrews 11, verse 1 now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So, just because it doesn't exist in your life right now, in front of your your, your eyes and through what see, it exists somewhere else, outside of this natural realm. It exists in the plan of God. If you look at Jeremiah 29, for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to give you a hope and a future, plans not to harm you in any way.
Speaker 2:See, there is a world that the church really hasn't tapped into. There is a world outside there that many of us haven't tapped into this kingdom. Yes, we're born again, we're spirit-filled and we're just kicking the sand of life and we're just trudging through this concrete, this rough old life, this, oh God, you've given me a right old hand of life here on this one. But it's faith. Faith can move mountains. Faith can break the work of anything. Faith will see every Jericho fall. Faith will see every Goliath drop. Faith will change life.
Speaker 2:What is faith? It's this invisible belief system that can't be bottled, that can't be sold. You can't measure it. God can only measure the amount of faith we get. The small analogy where, where God, and through Christ, makes a small analogy of it is, it is a mustard seed. So he gives us these analogies, he gives us these ways of describing, using picture form, using agricultural, using fishing, using the mountains, using nature, so that us as human beings can get a bit of an understanding.
Speaker 2:But there is a world outside of this world that God is saying do you want some and I'm not talking about a fisticuff Do you want some of what? I'm not talking about a fisticuff. Do you want some of what I have? Do you really want? Are you happy, ben, with the way your life is. Do you just want to bob along on the surface when you look at an iceberg? If you look at an iceberg you go, oh, that's big.
Speaker 2:What's out in the visualization of what we don't see is the enormity that is beyond the surface of the deep. And I believe God is saying you're just looking at the iceberg size of that, the external size of that what's visual. You can't see what is beyond the deep. Do you want to see deeper? Do you want to see deeper than what you can see that is in front of you? So when ships are navigating their way through Antarctica and all them places and they're looking at what is visual but also they are taking soundings of what is under the deep, see to go under the deep.
Speaker 2:I've got to go by faith. Do I want to see what is in the depth of the word of God? Am I happy with this iceberg of life that is so small on the outside? It is so small and actually it's melting and it's fading away. Life is so fast, it's like grass. It's here today, it's gone tomorrow. It blows this way and it blows that way. Three score years and 10. Life is so powerful.
Speaker 2:So when I look at this scripture in the beginning God straight away. You've got salvation Straight away. How can you say salvation is in Genesis, chapter 1, verse 1, four words, because God is salvation, god is salvation, god is redemption, god is hope. Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom, he is everything wrapped up in that one word God. That is Christ. When you read God, you are looking at Jesus and we find ourselves being presented with Jesus in John 1 1, verse 14, see, what I've got to remind myself is this physical world is very, very young, 6,500 years old. I can hear people laughing like hyenas, but evolution tells me, science tells me, it doesn't have a clue how long this earth has been here. Our children have been taught it's a billion, 100, this, this A, b, c, d, our children. The curriculum is being changed more times than you can count on the creation of the world, but the Bible is the same yesterday, today and forevermore, 6,500 years old from when God said that no one can measure how long God has been here.
Speaker 2:Yes, we understand. Well, we don't actually understand what eternity means. We get it in a tiny fabric of educational purposes, but God was before the before of any befores. He was here. You can't even go? Well, I can't. I actually my mind just freezes when I think about that because automatically, as a human being, I live by perception of what is in front of me at this time that I live. But I've got to realize that there is a world, a kingdom, that where the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit has always been. God, has always been before time. He is space, time and matter, he is science, he is reasoning, he is physics, he is absolutely everything. Science can't work this God out. Mathematics, physics can't work this God out because he can't be worked out on the blackboard of education. He can't even be worked out through revelational knowledge, because God will only drop in you what he wants to reveal.
Speaker 2:So, education, what is the purpose of education? What are you going to do when you get your doctorate? What are you going to do when you get your degree? Kiss, stomp or go sorry, son lady, there ain't no jobs. Pick up a broom. What are you going to do with your life when you've slugged yourself to education? What are you going to do when you retire, when you slog yourself to number 10 Downing Street, when you've paid your taxes? What are you going to do? I'm going to travel the world. Well, let me remind every one of you that I had many years in a hospice and many people didn't see retirement. I'm building a safe, I'm building a nest egg. I've got this and I've got this happening. I've got that happening because when I get to that age, I'm going to travel the world.
Speaker 2:Let me tell you life is fleeting because that's why the Bible talks about faith. So in the scripture that we are in, as we look at this scripture, it says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. There is education there. Take that back to university, to school, tomorrow and tell that to the HR department that I believe that God created the heavens and the earth by the power of the spoken word. And the earth, according to the chronological mathematics of the word of God, is 6,500 years old. That is biblical fact and I believe it. I do not believe in all the other reasonings.
Speaker 2:Look at Darwinism. It started out. Now Darwinism is getting trampled on because it has no, it's just balmy. The string theory crazy when you look at humanistic ways. You look at humanism. There is no hope whatsoever in humanism.
Speaker 2:What is the point of life when you look at all these world religions, even Elim as a denomination. Why am I under Elim as a denomination? Why am I under Elim? I should be first and foremost under Jesus, under Jesus. Then I look for a church and is that church preaching Jesus? I don't go to church first. I go to Jesus and say Lord, where are you going to take me to church? Because I want to know more about Jesus. I'll tell you what. I'll send my children to the Church of England school. Actually, yeah, on Thursday afternoon they've got a transgender coming in to talk about. You can do what you want in a church school. So just because it's a church school, are they preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Speaker 2:Oh, we've got to encompass everything. We've got to allow everyone to have a free will. That's nothing to do with free will. We are living in very dark and very satanic days, but let's look at what the scripture says. And God said let there be light. And God said let there be light. You are carrying light. You are carrying power of the word be light. You are carrying light. You are carrying power of the word of God. You are carrying hope. You are carrying anointing. You are blessed and highly favoured. Yes, we're living in dark, satanic days, but the power of God is alive and well and it sits within the skin that you walk in.
Speaker 2:Don't allow yourself to be crushed by number 10. Don't allow yourself to be crushed by number 10. Don't allow yourself to be crushed by work, by the pressure of mortgage, by the pressure of life, by the pressure of money, by the pressure of culture. Don't be crushed. Don't be crushed by relationships. Don't be crushed by what the world is doing. Realize who you are. In Christ Jesus. You can go anywhere in Christ and you can achieve anything in Christ.
Speaker 2:Education will stop you in more places than you realize. We have been given this perception that when I get educated and when I get to this position and when I get to that, I can do it. You can't, because education again puts a full stop on so much. This is why faith is so far out there, because faith is not of this natural realm. Faith is of this kingdom that we are reading about.
Speaker 2:In the beginning, god created, he spoke you into existence. He spoke the stars, he spoke the sun, the moon, the universe. When you look at astrologers trying to find out what is out and beyond the depth, you won't find it, because the book says he is extending the universe as we speak. Do we realize that this God that we serve and this Christ and this Holy Spirit is on the outside of time? Do you realize that this God that we serve and this Christ and this Holy Spirit is on the outside of time? Do you realize that this God that you serve, that sent his one and only son? Do you realize that this God that we serve moves faster than the speed of light? Do you realize that God created light? And what does the scripture say? And God said let there be light. And what does the scripture say? And God said let there be light. So God was before light itself.
Speaker 2:Light is so difficult to measure it is almost impossible to measure light, what light is and how we get a measure of light. And this is what God is saying. You can't measure Jesus. And what does Jesus say? I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the father except through me, so nothing can separate us, nothing can separate him. So when you look at light itself, what does Jesus say? I am the light of the world. What is he referring to?
Speaker 2:He's referring not to creation, because that's how I read it through education, as as I read Genesis, I can read it as an educational exercise, but I've got to read it as a faith accelerator Because when I look at that, yes, god said let there be light, and there was light as we understand it. But then I've got to say God, give me revelation. And God is saying Ben Jesus is on his way. What do you mean? Because if you have and you had time, and you look in Genesis, chapter three, verse 15, it talks about enmity. There we have the first physical place where God talks about redemption and he is putting a redemption plan, as in spoken word, because up to that point God is busy creating and making and bringing everything into. So when you look at Genesis chapter one, up to that point God is busy creating and making and bringing everything into.
Speaker 2:So when you look at Genesis chapter 1, in the beginning, you can't measure the beginning In the beginning of what? Because when there's a beginning of something, there's always a beginning. It's like tomorrow, I'll do it. Tomorrow, I'll get to tomorrow and go, I'll do it. There's always a tomorrow. In the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth. Tell your children, don't listen to that rubbish about. God did not create. God created the heavens and the earth. And how do we combat this? Because I understand this.
Speaker 2:You say to those at school and in the world you prove to me 100% that God did not create. But you can't. I don't need to prove anything to any lecturer, I don't need to prove anything to anyone running schools. I don't need to prove anything to anyone because I believe. And the question is is if, if you want me to see it from your viewpoint, you've got to prove that this bible is not real.
Speaker 2:Because straight from verse one and especially verse three, we are starting to watch salvation be spoken about and God said let there be light. Jesus says I am the light of the world. So Jesus is always referencing the Old Testament. He references it more times than we can count. And in the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 29 to 33, he says I and the Father are one. There is no separation. And the Jews and the area and all that wanted to stone him. You're blaspheming. And what did Jesus say to Nicodemus? Listen, son, you're Israel's teacher, but you don't know. So Jesus is now referencing this situation. He is saying you're educated but you don't know. The fundamental point of how to get to heaven is now referencing this situation. He is saying you're educated, but you don't know the fundamental point of how to get to heaven. Nicodemus, you are teaching your audience the law and the Torah, but there is something greater on the outside of the law and the Torah, and that's salvation. And Nicodemus froze his arms in the air. You can imagine it. How could? What are you talking about, jesus? You must be born again.
Speaker 2:I love the fact that God drops the seed of salvation. You can fight it all your life, you can shout it, you can scream at it. You can tell me he does not exist and you're bored and you're fed up with me. Face not bothered. But let me tell you this God is in your heart. God is in your life. God spoke this physical realm into existence. It didn't pop up just because chemicals there was two little chemicals out on their skateboards on the other side of the universe. And if the world was so crazy and so vast, how did they bump into each other? The only two, the only two, goodness knows. They was out on their little skateboards and they just decided, oh, we'll bump into. Suddenly we got the Big Bang Theory. Oh, what a load of trash. The Big Bang, let me tell you I will use the word big bang. Let me tell you about a big bang.
Speaker 2:And God said because words bring life, there's no such thing as the big bang theory, there's no such thing as a string theory, there's no such thing as evolution. Because if we believe in evolution, how did I escape from not being a monkey? Because the monkey it's too much to go into. But when you look at evolution, how is it? Some poor little fella is still swinging through the trees eating bananas and I've made it to drive a transit van. How is that? How can that be? We've come from apes, we've come out. Some made it, some didn't make it. Oh yeah, there's another theory for that. Of course there is. It's just theories.
Speaker 2:But I want to tell you about a book that I've got. That is fact. I want to tell you about a creator that is factual. I want to tell you right now that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. I want to tell you that Jesus Christ has changed your life before you realize he changed your life. I want to tell you that this God that we see four words in, is the Savior of the world.
Speaker 2:Psalm 91 and the end of Psalm 91 tells you something very, very clear. Psalm 91, have a read for yourself. God created the heavens and the earth and Jesus was at the very beginning of time. And when he said, let there be light, and there was light and there was light, and God saw that it was good. And there was light and there was light and God saw that it was good Visualization. This is where we have faith and actions coming together.
Speaker 2:So I speak it and I see it, but it will take a lot of speech for it to come into existence, because there was so many words that God spoke to bring everything in. So I've got to keep speaking. So when I speak, lord, I'm healed in the name of Jesus, I'm blessed, I'm healed in the name of Jesus. When I speak these words over my life, father, I thank you that I'm saved in the name of Jesus. Lord, I thank you that all is well. Lord, I thank you that my bones are working. I thank you that my mind is free. I thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit. I thank you for your word. I thank you for your strength. I thank you that you are revealing things to me. I thank you, lord, that I don't need education, that I don't need finances, because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Who is this? He that is sitting in you right now?
Speaker 2:Genesis, chapter one. Genesis, chapter 1 there is so much power and authority in your life it can't be measured. How do I release this power and authority? Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. The Bible says you have not, because you ask not. So, lord, I'm asking now. I want more faith, I want more anointing, I want more revelational knowledge Because, lord, education holds me in chains. Education will hold you in chains. Education will stop you. The monarchy will stop you. The monarchy will get you focused on planting a tree in the Amazon. The monarchy will get you hugging a tree at weekends with your children. The monarchy is about drawing money in the system, the Pharaoh system that we got the devil's playground. Don't allow the political language. Don't allow the devil's playground. Don't allow the political language. Don't allow the monarchy, don't allow education, because it will stop us. It will hold us in such a a place where we're not fulfilling what god has for you.
Speaker 2:There is so much more outside of these natural realms and I've got to be radical and I've got to believe. I've got to believe because all things are possible to those who go to school. It doesn't say that All things are possible to those who go to church. It doesn't say that All things are possible to those who believe. Come on, belief is dynamite. Belief is believing that this internal God is going to tear down the wall of Jericho for you. This belief in God is going to heal you of sickness, disease. This belief goes beyond the natural realm of science, of physics, of education. This God is outside of all this, but he's living inside you. We're going to come to the table now and I pray that wherever you are and I mean that by wherever you're walking at this moment in time, let me read these scriptures In the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth.
Speaker 2:Now, the earth was formless and empty. Sounds like education and politics to me. Formless and empty. Sounds like education and politics to me. Formless and empty. Darkness was over in the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said let there be light. And there was light. And God saw that that light was good. And then he separated light from darkness. Straight away.
Speaker 2:We have God separating good and evil, but it says light and darkness, because that's how I read it, as an educated read. I read it as creation. But he's telling us now there's trouble coming and they are going to fall in the garden. But he hasn't mentioned anything about the fall in the garden because he is just bringing everything. He's already put salvation and redemption in Genesis, chapter 1, before the two human beings fell in the garden. See, god is always in advance. So when he was creating he separated what Light from darkness was creating. He separated what light from darkness, hell and heaven a separation. God called the light day and he called the darkness, uh, night and there was evening and there was morning, the first day. We understand that very simply, as the scripture says. But it's more than that. It's so much more than that.
Speaker 2:When you look at that scripture the first three, four verses in it's shouting salvation, it's shouting power and authority. It's telling us that I am bringing light into the world and that light cannot be connected to darkness, and I'm going to separate light from darkness. There is going to be Jesus Christ, who is the light of the world, and there is going to be someone that will fall from heaven and his name is Lucifer and he is going to fall and he is going to be the father of lies, the father of darkness, straight away, straight away, before any human beings are spoken into existence. God, the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus have a plan in place. Father, we thank you.
Speaker 2:There is power in your word and we pray right now, lord, that we will study Genesis, not through education but through revelation and, lord, that you will open our eyes. Lord, that we will read it through Hebrews 11, verse 1, that we will read it through faith, that we will read this word through faith, that we will read it through the power of the word of God and through the Holy Spirit. So, lord, that this bread just symbolizes the body of Christ. There is no power in the bread, lord, in itself, there is no power in the grape juice that we have, but what it symbolizes is the body and the blood of Jesus, and I believe Jesus's body was broken for each and every one of us.
Speaker 2:I believe that there was bloodshed at the cross of Calvary because of the redemption of sin. I believe God created the heavens and the earth. I believe he's the coming king. I believe in the fundamental points of the doctrines of grace. I believe in the hand of God. So, father, as I break bread now, we break bread together. Lord, we thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ and as we break it and as we take it, as we hold the cup and we might take the two together, depending however you want to do. That Choice is yours. Don't follow me, do whatever you feel that you are being led to. Father, as I break the bread, as I just dip it in the cup and I just take that and I just say thank you, father, for the blood of Jesus and the bread symbolizing the crimson tide, the blood of Jesus and the body of Christ that was broken and the blood of Jesus that was shed. Amen, if you've got the cup, father, we thank you for this cup of redemption. See, this cup is just not a cup.
Speaker 2:What he was referring to when he was at the table, this cup, its reference point, was right back in Exodus, chapter 12. It was about redemption. Jesus holds a redemption cup and in the Garden of Gethsemane he says take this cup from me. But there's four cups on the Passover table and he's referring to the third cup, the, the cup of redemption. If it's possible, take this cup from me. He says the cup that carries the blood of himself. Is there another way? He said in the garden, garden, can we go another way?
Speaker 2:So what he was speaking about is what was spoken about in Genesis, chapter 1. Let there be light. Jesus came into this dark world and he lit up the wall. He gave his life as a ransom because he is the lamb of God. There's no coincidence, because coincidence doesn't actually exist in in the language that we speak. So the lamb that John refers to here comes the lamb of God.
Speaker 2:John was referencing exodus, chapter 12, because god said take a lamb, an unblemished lamb, and that jesus that walks. And john, when he clocked him, he was the unblemished lamb, the lamb of god. Jesus is the redeemer. So, father, I pray that you will cover me in the blood that was shed at the cross of calvary. But the journey of redemption started in genesis, chapter one. We hear about it, but then actually I see the physical, the physical manifestation of that in exodus, chapter 12, when god says take a lamb, so cover me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet in Jesus name. God bless you wherever you are across the world.
Speaker 2:Today, god bless you in the Lord's house, very different this morning. God is calling you. You're fighting Jesus, you're trying to fight him. The question is where is Jesus? Because that's the question we have and our lips don't need to say it. Sometimes, when we get in the tussle of life, just our actions we go. Where's Jesus? So that's what today is about when is Jesus? Let's remind us he's in Genesis, chapter 1, because he is the living word. Where is Jesus? He's living in every one of you. Your head's telling you could be telling you something different. Don't be crazy. Jesus is with you and nothing can separate the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 2:Father, we thank you for this morning, lord, and as we exit the house of the Lord and as we click offline, I just pray for my brothers and sisters, lord, wherever they are, wherever they are, as in they're walking in their life, and wherever they are across the world, that you'll strengthen them and you will carry them and they will know that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Redeemer and that Genesis, chapter 1, is about redemption and creation, of creating a new hope, a new way. I thank you that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, he says. In this closing prayer should we pray for healing. In this closing prayer, should we pray that God will open our mind to understand more? But then we go. Hang on a minute, god, I don't want my mind to understand because I can't. So I'll change my prayer this morning. Lord, will you open my heart to receive you more and will you reveal yourself to my heart more? So, dear God and Heavenly Father, lord, take your hand, lay it on your chest, lay it on your head, whatever you need to do, whatever that sickness is, whatever that fear is, whatever it is. Just, father, I pray for everyone.
Speaker 2:I bridge the gap today in the house, out the house, those that are away, those that are missing, those that are online. I bridge the gap, lord. I bridge the gap from here to the throne room of grace. And, lord, I say I thank you, lord, if I'm the bridge. And, lord, I say I thank you, lord, if I'm the bridge. Lord, let them walk over me to get to you. Lord, let them walk freely.
Speaker 2:So, lord, I believe cancer is gone, sickness is gone, fear is gone, doubt is gone. I believe sickness bows to the greatest name, and, lord, I pray for those that are looking for hope. I thank you that they've already got hope, even in their darkest valley. Bless them from the crown of their head, let them be healed, let them understand the power of salvation and redemption. And, lord, I thank you that today is the day of new beginnings in Jesus' name. God bless us, lord, carry us, lord. May the grace of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, be with every one of you In Jesus' name. Amen.
Speaker 2:God bless, we've got one more. We're going to have one more. They're going to press the buttons. We'll have one more worship. We'll have one more song. We're out of here. God bless you. We'll see you tomorrow evening as you join us, as you lock on through the power you know of all the platforms we're streaming from.
