"Walking on Water: Faith, Courage, and Divine Guidance in a Tumultuous World"

In today’s fast-paced, chaotic world, it’s easy to feel like we are drowning in the waves of political unrest, financial struggles, personal crises, and overwhelming social pressures. However, there’s a transformative message from the Bible that offers hope and guidance when we feel like we're sinking. In this latest episode, Reverend Ben Cooper draws inspiration from the Gospel of Matthew, focusing on the profound story of Peter stepping out of the boat in faith and walking on water. This pivotal moment not only demonstrates the power of unwavering faith but also highlights the importance of keeping our focus on Jesus amid life's storms.

In Matthew 14:29-31, we find the heart of this remarkable moment when Peter steps out of the boat and begins walking toward Jesus, only to begin sinking when he loses focus. As we reflect on this powerful account, we delve into the metaphorical "storms" we face today—whether it’s the constant bombardment of negative news, financial hardship, or personal struggles. Reverend Ben encourages listeners to find their strength in the unwavering guidance of Jesus, trusting that when we keep our eyes on Him, we can rise above our fears and trials, just as Peter was able to walk on water.

Throughout the episode, we explore how this lesson of faith can be applied to modern life. The world today can often feel like a spinning plate, where the pressures of social media, work, and family life threaten to topple us. In these moments of stress, we are reminded that we are never alone. By focusing on God’s presence and the strength we draw from prayer, we can overcome anxiety and find peace in the middle of the storm.

One of the key takeaways from this episode is the importance of spiritual awakening and the power of spirit-led worship. We discuss how, in a world filled with distractions, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by societal pressures and religious constraints. Yet, by actively listening to God’s voice and turning to Him for divine guidance, we can experience true peace and healing. This episode is not just about reflecting on Peter’s story, but also about reclaiming what’s been lost in our own spiritual journeys.

As we conclude the episode, Reverend Ben leads a powerful prayer, inviting listeners to embrace the transformative power of faith. Through this prayer, listeners are encouraged to step out in faith, break free from limitations, and walk boldly toward spiritual renewal. This episode offers more than just a message of encouragement—it’s a call to action to strengthen your relationship with God, trust in His guidance, and experience His healing power.

Whether you’re navigating personal challenges or seeking spiritual growth, this episode will leave you inspired to trust in the divine, embrace faith-driven courage, and walk in the peace that only comes from God. Tune in, share your thoughts, and let this episode be a reminder that through faith, we can rise above the storms and walk on water.

Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning, let's turn straight into the Word of God. Let's get straight into the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, verses 22 to 36. This morning, as we just look at the Word, you know, wherever you are joining this live stream service across the world, we're sorry that sometimes we get a bit of issues, you know, as we're streaming online, but, thanks be to God, the voice is clear. The voice is always clear. You know it goes out. You can capture it on Spotify, buzzsprout, you can capture it on Apple and so many other platforms. You can listen to these services back. So, if we ever get cut off, you can listen to the sermons all the way back through on those platforms that we're using.

Speaker 2:

But wherever you are across the world, we welcome everybody in the Lord's house, whatever is going on in your life. We are living in very, very peculiar days, very, very peculiar days, and I really believe God is telling us you know, don't be afraid. When you look across humanity, when you look across the world, when you see everything that's going on, you know, come on, god is with us. We've got to rise out of these ashes. You know. We've got to rise up and say God, I'm not going to feel like this. I can't allow myself to feel like this. I can't allow myself to be entrenched in these concrete boots. I've got to rise, god. I've got to find a way, and it can only be with you, lord. I'm healed, lord. This sickness, lord, this pain is going, this fear is going, this doubt is going.

Speaker 2:

But, as Peter, you know, this text is all about Peter, verse 22, over to around about verse 36, as it finishes there. It's about taking that stretch of faith. We're so familiar with this scripture, we're so familiar with this biblical fact, this beautiful story of Christ. We're so familiar with this scripture. We're so familiar with this biblical fact, this beautiful story of Christ, we are so familiar with it. Sometimes, being familiar, it can just disappear.

Speaker 2:

But I want to remind myself and you this morning, I want to remind every one of you that don't be afraid. Don't be afraid, whatever you face in your life. It's so easy to say that, though, isn't it? Don't be afraid. It's so easy to say that, though isn't it? Don't be afraid. It's so easy to say that when, when fear is around us, you can feel it as you walk on the tarmac of life. You can feel it as you live life, as you go in education, as you go to work, as you live and as you migrate around life, and as you just move from Monday to Sunday, sunday to every day.

Speaker 2:

You know, as every day unfolds, there's things happening. You're hearing stories and there's breakdown in so many area of life and saying God, where are you, god, where are you? You know, we're in a vicious storm. There's no way to word it other than this we are in a vicious storm, a political storm, a financial storm, a relationship storm, a crisis storm. There are storms everywhere, there are storms brewing, there are storms coming to a finish and as one storm finishes, another one rises. When you're tired and you're awake in the morning, you think I've got another day to get through. Today. I just can't seem to get through. We welcome every one of you to realize, yes, there are storms, but there is hope. There is hope when you've got to walk on water.

Speaker 2:

It's that text, that and, as a human being, you could read that and just think, oh, it's just a story. It's not a story. It's a biblical fact that the disciple walked on the unknown territory known as water. On the unknown territory known as water. He only sank when he took his eyes off Jesus. So if you have a Bible with yourself now, if you turn to the gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, and I'm going to read from verse 22, it says immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd. After he dismissed the crowd, he went up to the mountainside by himself and he prayed when evening came. It says there when evening came, he was there alone. He was there alone. I just want to hold that a minute. We're going to carry the reading.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes, through scripture you will find Jesus was alone and sometimes we find in the majority of life we can be alone. It can be a scary place. You can be surrounded with people, with noise, with certain characters, with culture, with life, with color, with everything, but you still feel alone. That is such a difficult emotion to deal with, loneliness alone. That is such a difficult emotion to deal with loneliness. Loneliness will take you to a place where the disciple had that action that was upon him. The loneliness of life sometimes can take us to a place where we could sink. But I want to encourage you this morning to keep walking on the impossible, whatever you are facing. However you feel, whatever is being pressed against the door of life, believe that you're healed, believe that the problem is gone, believe that you are able to walk on water. When you look at this scripture, let's get moving. And it says Jesus was alone. And he was there alone, but the boat was already a considerable distance ahead from land, buffeted by the waves and the wind that was against it.

Speaker 2:

During the fourth watch of the night, jesus went out to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. It is a ghost, they said, and they cried out in fear. But Jesus, but Jesus. But Jesus, say that to yourself. But Jesus, but Jesus. But Jesus immediately said to them take courage, it is.

Speaker 2:

I do not be afraid. That's where we just hang around for this moment. Do not be afraid. It is the most powerfulest word that is out there, other than God, holy Spirit and Jesus, because the devil's territory wants us to operate in fear. Being afraid because when I operate and I walk in fear, when I'm afraid and when I'm doubtful, when I'm worried, when I'm uncertain, I'm living a life that is so far down the peg of what Christ has.

Speaker 2:

But because we live in a culture and a society and a world that is everything to do with visualization. If it's in your eyesight, it's here. But the kingdom of God is the complete opposite. Everything with Christ is in the unseen world and we've got to take out our physical realm. We've got to take us into that position of I'm healed, I'm blessed, I'm free, I'm financially sound, in the name of Jesus, and that's not. We're not talking about, uh, having money running around, we're just talking about being able to feed ourselves and just put petrol in the tank. That's what I love to see when there is an odd occasion when I can fill the car up with diesel or petrol and I go oh Lord, hallelujah, lord, it's a miracle, lord, I've got miles in the tank. And then one eye is watching it, thinking, oh, I've knocked out 50 miles today. Oh, no, lord, I've lost. You know, we've got to. Suddenly, we are living in a time of sudden. Suddenly, god is moving, suddenly, things are happening. Suddenly, things are moving.

Speaker 2:

We're in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, verse 22 to 36. And it's about dealing with fear. I've got to deal with fear. I've got to deal with the uncertainty. I've got to deal with the doubt I've got to deal with the little foxes. What the scripture says around me? You know, when we're in church, we can come in and we can be down and we can be fearful. We're online we can be down, we can be fearful, and we can't seem to shake it. We just can't seem to shake it. It's a cloak that we can't moved, the cloak of uncertainty, the cloak of no money, the cloak of being unwell, the cloak of fear, the cloak of doubt, the cloak of work, just the monotony of life, the drumbeat. It's just the same drumbeat and it's that drumbeat that it can be wearing down.

Speaker 2:

I really believe that we are getting ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ, the second coming of the King, and we've just got to tell the world it's going to be all right, even when your mind is going. I ain't got a clue. I don't understand this. I feel pain, I feel sorrowful, I feel doubtful, I feel lost, I feel anxious. We're living in a world, the world where the world is anxious. We're in a world where there's anxiety. We're in a world where fear is beating, beating on the drum, beating, beating, beating.

Speaker 2:

You know, social media is such a dangerous place, the devil's playground. Social media is the devil's playground and we've got to be careful that we don't get absorbed into the devil's rhythm. We've got to get in the rhythm of God. We've got to get in the rhythm of the word. You've got to sing until you've got tonsillitis. You've got to sing until your voice is gone. You've got to shout in the name of Jesus until you almost think there's no point.

Speaker 2:

Where is this God? Have you ever got to that point when you put your head on the table and you've looked at the steering wheel of life and you've gone? Where are you? Where are you? Because I'm sinking. I'm sinking like Peter. I'm sinking financially. I'm sinking emotionally. I'm sinking in health. I'm sinking in my capacity as a human being. I'm sinking.

Speaker 2:

The people around me. It feels like the people around me are putting their boot on my head and pushing me down. It feels like society is crushing me. It feels like the people around me are putting their boot on my head and pushing me down. It feels like society is crushing me. It feels like education is pushing me out. It feels like work is wearing me down. I can't focus. Is there anybody in the world that can't focus right now?

Speaker 2:

You've got so many plates spinning and you see that one starting to slow down over there. But you know that you've got to keep that spinning and you haven't got the energy and you haven't got the time to get from where you are and you're just going to run and you just capture the edge of the plate and it spins a little bit more. But then suddenly you come back to the middle and they're spinning fast and they're spinning slow. You're balancing this and you're balancing that. You're trying to do this and you're trying to do that. You're moving money from that arena to that arena because it don't exist there and it don't really exist there. So I'm shoving it from here, there and everywhere.

Speaker 2:

And then my emotions and then my thoughts, and then suddenly I can't face the day. And suddenly, but Jesus is telling us this morning take courage, take courage, take courage in the plate spinning, take courage in the doubts, take courage, because I'm on the lake with you and I'll never sink. He is the creator of that lake, he is the creator of the stars, he is your God, he is your Redeemer, he is your King, he is your El Shaddai, he is the lily of the valley, he is the living word, he is Genesis to Revelation. When your bones are aching and when you've looked in the bank account and all you could do is laugh and go. Lord, I must be blind. There's too many noughts going the wrong way. What is going on? We are living in times, treacherous times.

Speaker 2:

The Bible tells us as it was in the days of Noah, and it quoted and it spoke and it prophesied those days, all those thousands of years ago. And we got preachers talking about revival. We got preachers coming up with all this crazy stuff. We got to be prepared for what God is about to do and God isn't going to get another revival move. God is coming back through Christ as the redeeming king, and he's telling us this morning hold it tight, hold tight. I know I can see your tears. Have you ever cried so much that you feel that there's no more tears left? You've got no more water in the system, in the tear ducts. You can't cry anymore, you can't scream anymore, you can't focus anymore. Everything has gone from the human being, from within you, and you are trying everything to hold onto life and life itself. That scripture comes alive again.

Speaker 2:

Take courage, it is I. He says don't be afraid when you're praying, and you're praying words of faith and your mind is telling you what's the point, take courage, it is I. When you're praying and you just give up praying, take courage, it is I, don't be afraid. When you're driving to work and you're scared about going to work and you're worried about life itself, take courage, it is I, don't be afraid. God, you've got to help me deal with fear. God, you've got to help us, because when you think about fear, fear is like the tear that grows next to the wheat. When you think about it, they're so close together. And this, what we have here, this amazing biblical, factual story that we have, is that this disciple was so fueled up. He was so fueled up. It is Jesus. It is Jesus. I know it's Jesus. So there is something in us that tells us it will be all right.

Speaker 2:

But the fleshly realm, the external physicality, the rhythm of life, the cars on the road, the people up the town, the busyness, the phones, the emails, the congestion in my head is telling me God, where are you? He says I'm with you, ben. I'm with you right now, son. He said I'm with the brokenhearted. I'm with the ones that are lost on the highways and the byways. I'm with those that are scattered across the church and are tired of church. I'm with you when you're driving to work, when you're driving back home and you don't want to go home. I'm driving with you in the car of life. I'm holding the steering wheel for you. When you feel that there's no hope, when all hope has gone, I'm with you. I'm your king, I'm your God.

Speaker 2:

But I've got to get you to jump out of the boat, ben. I've got to get you to jump out of the boat, brother. I've got to get you to jump out of the boat, sister, because the boat isn't the safe environment, because the world tells us that the materialistic way of the boat in the storm is the safe space, the safest place to be is running to Jesus. When it's impossible to run to Jesus, when you are surrounded by water and your colleagues and your family and the church is saying stay in the boat. It's time to exit the boat, it's time to be that loner, like Peter, and go. I'm out and I'm going to walk and I'm going to find a way. It's dark, it's wet, I could sink, but I am not going to drown, I'm not going to be taken out.

Speaker 2:

The scriptures tells us very clearly that they was in the boat. And naturally, for the human mind and the human way, we think that the safest place on earth, on the sea, is the vessel and we cannot afford to jump out of this safe space. The government and the world and the church is trying to create a false sense of safe space. When you look at that great, that great apostle, that great writer of the new testament, when you look at paul apostle, that great writer of the New Testament, when you look at Paul, the vessel he was sailing in got broke down. This nation is being broken down and it's painful to experience, it's painful to watch. You can feel it, it's tense, you can feel the atmosphere on the outside, you can feel it in the skin that you're walking in and sometimes it feels like we've got concrete boots on. They're not boots of faith, they're not sandals fitted with the gospel of peace, according to Ephesians, chapter 6, they are heavy feats and I can't walk right and I'm confused in the walk of life Because the vessel that we've been told to sail in is not fit for purpose anymore. What is the biggest vessel that we've been told to sail in? The church? The church has always been looked at and is focused at as the place where I will find God At this particular point, did you find Jesus in the boat or out the boat?

Speaker 2:

It's the same with the church. At the moment, the majority of church. Jesus is out the boat of church and he's saying come out of religion. You've got to get out of that space. It's not as safe as you think. What do you mean?

Speaker 2:

Jesus, because of the teaching, is causing the storm. The teaching is causing the fear. The teaching and the worship and the rhythm of religion is not the face of me. You will find me right in the middle of the impossible situation. I'm standing on water and I'm expecting you, sister and brother and Ben, I am expecting you to walk.

Speaker 2:

But, god, I've been in this church forever. God, I've been in this denomination forever. God, I've. I've gone to this church, that church, every lord. I exit it. I want this church to be empty. I I want to see people walking with Jesus, and you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

It's great that we come in and we do what we do, but it's time. It's time for us to go. I'm jumping out of this boat, the boat of life, the boat of church, the boat of worry, because that place, jesus is on the outside and Jesus is about to call you. Are you ready? Are you ready to do a walk that you never thought you'll be able to do? You'll go bend my knees. I can't walk. No further. I can't move anymore Because it's not a physical walk he's requiring.

Speaker 2:

It's a walk of faith, because in the kingdom of God, god doesn't require us to be fit and well in the physical realm. He requires us to go. Yeah, I'm doing it, as we sit in the wheelchair and the world around us tells us that you will never walk again, but I'm seeing myself walking. You will never walk again, sir or madam, because A, b, c and D, you will always be incapacitated. That's my physical realm, but I don't live by my physical realm because if I live by my physical realm, the physical realm will trap me in the storm. Many people are having storms that reflect physical experiences through their body. People are having experiences through financial pressure, through relationships, through life, through culture, through education.

Speaker 2:

God is saying you can achieve it sitting there. You can achieve it with no money. You can achieve it because when you see yourself, when you see yourself by faith, the just shall live by faith. If God wanted us to have our physical realm to be correct, he would have corrected that from day one. But he says faith is what takes you to the place. Faith will take you to a place of peace.

Speaker 2:

Fear will hold you on the storm. Fear will keep you in the boat. Fear will make you look at Jesus and say that's not Jesus, that's a ghost. Religion will make you look at Jesus. The celebrity church will make you look at Jesus, and the vision of Jesus from the boat and from the mega church and from this and from that, from the inside of the vessel, will distort your vision. The only time that you know it's Jesus is when you jump out. It was blurry, it was completely blurry. If that's you, let me tell you it's voice first. Voice triggers something. What does voice do? Voice triggers faith. If that's you Jesus, you call me. His environment was the same, the ways were the same, the darkness was the same, the water was the same, the boat was the same.

Speaker 2:

But if I recognize the, there is something in the voice, not in the voice of the preacher, not in the voice of me, not in the voice of the mega church. It is in the voice of the word. Faith comes from hearing the message. How can I hear the author's voice? How can I hear the author's voice? I've read, I read the word and he speaks and the scripture comes alive. And the scripture tells me all things are possible to those who believe. So I've got to hear the voice, because the voice will get me out of the boat, because what I perceive with my vision is of my natural eyes and he said to the others, is that a ghost. See, we can't visualize Christ. We can get an outline understanding, but it's not until we hear the voice. The voice is heard through the word.

Speaker 2:

When the word starts to come alive in my heart, when read it aloud is no other book in the world will get you out the boat. There's no other book that will get you into a place where no one else can save you. The only person that could save this disciple was Jesus. The others stayed in fear. There are people in your life that will stay in your life and they will try to hold you in the boat and hold you in that fear space. God is calling you as an individual. Jesus is calling you as an individual. The word of God is calling you Be healed. Rise in the name of Jesus, body, move at the name of Jesus. Arms work, leg work, fear, go.

Speaker 2:

When you speak the word of God, it's not worship, it's word. Worship comes after, because worship, this day and age, is very secularized, is very driven by what the secular world is doing in music. But the Bible says I am the same yesterday, today and forevermore. My word never changes. The word never changes. Have you noticed that worship music has changed over the years? It has got worse, it has got weaker, it has got softer. It doesn't have the impact into what it used to have.

Speaker 2:

Because when Paul and Silas had their worship, they had the Psalms. That's all they had was Psalms, and they sang the Psalms, the Psalms of David. And when you sing the Psalms of David, hell moves, sickness moves. But when you sing certain rhythms that we have today in the music culture, it just brings a happy vibe because it is missing the spirit of the living God. It has emotions, it has feelings, but it is missing the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that is lacking out of the majority of worship music. It is the Word of God that is out the majority of the church of the UK.

Speaker 2:

But when you get word and spirit come together, that water experience becomes possible. Because when he looked he said that's a ghost. So it's not by what you see, it's by what you hear. Because vision can distort, see, vision distorted the disciples' perception of Jesus. Vision will distort Church will distort, and it has made the story, the understanding, it has made the scripture blurry, the visualization of church. It has changed it. It has shaped it very, very different. But when you hear the word because there is something different about hearing the word it doesn't matter how bleak it is, it doesn't matter how dark it is, it doesn't matter how treacherous it may be. When you hear the voice of the king, he said it is I. That is all it took.

Speaker 2:

Take courage, god is telling you this morning. Take courage, god is telling you this morning. Take courage in your life. Take courage in what is happening. Look at your finances and speak over your finances. Look over your body and speak over your body. Look over your life and speak over your life. Speak the living word of God. But what happens? We speak, or I speak for a moment. Suddenly there is a move and then my mind gets taken on to something else. So I stopped speaking the word. I've got to keep speaking. I've got to keep speaking.

Speaker 2:

Psalms will get you healed If you're looking for true worship, If you're looking for true, biblically sound worship. You won't find it in the contemporary stuff that we got. You've got a rhythm and you've got a happy feeling and you can tap your feet and you can dance a little bit and it'll make you cry a little bit. But if you want a miracle, you've got to turn to the Psalm 23. If you want to see devils flee, you've got to turn and sing Psalm 91. If you want to see cancer go, you've got to turn into the Psalm and you've got to sing it and you've got to believe it and you've got to get the word in your spirit.

Speaker 2:

Secular worship is weak. It will take you into a place called euphoria. It will take you into a place of happiness. It will take you into a place called euphoria. It will take you into a place of happiness. It will take you into the place of feelings. But the word of God will smash the feelings. The word of God will break cancer. The word of God will destroy the devil's work. The word of God will set the captives free. The word of God, psalmsms. It says Paul and Silas were in the stocks and they sang the psalms and they lifted up the scripture.

Speaker 2:

When you lift up the scripture, you might find that there are a few uh, christian worship songs out there that have a little bit of wording of Jesus in it. But is it the Jesus that we serve? Because it's not the word Jesus you're looking for. It's the doctrine behind the name, because there's Jesus. He plays football every Saturday for a few football teams across the world, and I'm referring to the human beings, because Jesus is a name that is used. But you've got to find out what's behind the name of Jesus. Are they singing about the Jesus Christ that went to the cross at Calvary? Are they singing about the redemption king? Are they singing about the savior of the world? Or is it something different behind this worship? Because when you sing the Psalms, you're singing about Yahweh. When you sing the Psalms, you're singing about Yahweh. When you sing the Psalms, you're singing about the eternal God. When you sing the Psalms, you're singing about the God of Israel. You're singing about the only God, the God that is above every other God.

Speaker 2:

When you sing secular Christianity, you could be tapping your feet with the devil, we got to get in the word. There is no other way. There is no other way but the scripture, the word of God. It is the power of the word, because it is the word that called the disciple. It wasn't worship that called him, it was spoken word, because spoken word is more powerful than worship. When you worship with spoken word, because spoken word is more powerful than worship. When you worship with spoken word, that is a different realm.

Speaker 2:

When you worship in spirit and in truth, the Bible says the worshipers will worship in spirit and in truth. So there has to be a correlation, there has to be a process. My worshipers will worship in truth. So there has to be a correlation. There has to be a process. My worshipers will worship in spirit, in Holy Spirit. They will worship in truth. I am the way, the truth and the life. I will worship in Holy Spirit and I will worship in the words, because Jesus is the living word. I am the way, the truth, the truth, the life. No one comes to the father except through me. So you can only get to Jesus and through Jesus. And once we're through Jesus, we got access to the father. We can only do that when we're in holy spirit, worship and we're in biblical, sound doctrine, worship that will open and give you access to the eternal father. Do you want access to the eternal father? Do you want access to the god of israel? Do you want access to the king of kings? It's in you. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

Speaker 2:

But it wasn't worship that told him to get out the boat. It wasn't a preacher that told him to get out the boat. It wasn't another disciple to get told him to get out the boat, it was the living word. And the living word is telling me and you, get out, get out the boat, get out of of this, get out of that, get out, stretch out, trust, trust in god.

Speaker 2:

See, don't go by visualization, and the church, the majority of the church, does everything through visualization. There's nothing more powerful than the spoken word that is behind the curtain. Yes, we've, we try and get the visuals here as much as we can, but we know that we're that's not the prime thing that we're doing. It's getting the spoken word out, it's the word and everything that we have. It goes out in the word. Inaudible. That is the criteria. It is audible that we need.

Speaker 2:

The majority of church is done through visualization. That is the issue we have, because we are waiting for the show to start. We are waiting for the show to start and when you look at this great disciple, peter I'm not sure if that's you, because what I see doesn't line up and what I see is affecting me, but if it's you, cole, because there's power in the voice of Jesus, how do I have and how do I get this voice? See, when I read the word, I'm reading Jesus's voice. When you read that, I am the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. I am the word, life. No one comes to the Father except through me. I am the Word. When you read the Word aloud, you are reading the Word of the Holy God, and devils hear the Word, demons flee at the name of Jesus. When you speak the Word of God, and I've got to have this continuum, this continuum rhythm, I've got to speak the word. And the disciple said, if it's you, let me read this. We're coming to the table in just a few moments.

Speaker 2:

But the boat was already at a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, jesus went out to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. Is it a ghost? They said, and they cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them take courage in his eye, do not be afraid, lord. If it's you, if it's you, if it's you. Peter replied tell me, tell me to come to you on the water. It is impossible to walk on water as a human being. It is impossible. We've watched the magicians over the years, the fallouts, walking on the Thames. It can't be done.

Speaker 2:

But let me tell you, anything is possible with Jesus. Anything is possible with Jesus. And he said I'm not sure if that's you, but if it's you, you call me because I'm in the biggest storm of my life. Are you in the biggest storm of your life? If you're in the biggest storm of your life, it's time to shout in the name of Jesus. God, I'm fearful. I'm fearful of living, I'm fearful of dying, I'm fearful of breathing. I'm fearful of not breathing. Lord, I don't want to drive, but I've got to drive. I don't want to go to work, but I've got to go to work. Lord, my life is completely upside down inside out. Call me Jesus, if that's you, and I am going to do the impossible, because the impossible is possible with him, because the Bible says in the New Testament what is impossible with man is possible with God. And that's where I've got to get myself to. I've got to get myself to the realization that I can't do it, but he can. I can with him. Let's break bread In the name of Jesus Christ, as we break bread right now, lord, we need you, father, to speak through this word like never before.

Speaker 2:

We need you to speak over our lives. We need you to speak into our lives. We need you to speak through our lives. We need you to speak, god, because the church is quiet. The church is so quiet it's taken us to a place of fear, of uncertainty. We have an obscured vision of what Jesus really is, in the dead of night, and we are in the dead of night. We are in the dead of night. So, lord, I ask of night, we are in the dead of night. So, lord, I ask you for everybody in the lord's house, everybody online. I pray, lord, that we will go by faith.

Speaker 2:

When we close our eyes, we see our body working. We feel the Word speaking. We see Jesus. We want to see Jesus. We want to see you through the Word. We want to see you, dear God, like living water coming out, the Word. We want to feel the glory, lord. We want to feel the anointing, we want to feel the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to feel your grace, your mercy, your love, your redemption-saving grace. But as we break bread thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ and as we break bread together, as the brothers and sisters around the world and in the Lord's house, lord, thank you that this bread was broken for us. The body of Christ was broken for us In Jesus' name Amen.

Speaker 2:

Holy Spirit we pray that it will rain so hard over us, holy Spirit, we pray that it will rain, there will be a deluge from heaven, that we will be saturated in the miracle that we're praying for that we will be saturated, lord. So, lord, will you cleanse us as we take this cup together across the world and in the Lord's house. As we take this cup, father, cleanse us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet, in the name of Jesus, amen, cleanse us, god. We are redeemed. We are children of the most high. You are saved. And now is the time when God is saying yes, ben, yes sister, yes, brother, keep calling. Keep calling if your vision is distorted, don't worry, because fear distorts vision. Faith, faith, faith changes everything. But in the dead of night, in the dead of fear, in the dead of the storm, in the dead of the sickness, the disease, the fear, the lack, the breakdown, the breaking away, in all that, fear grabs, hold and fear, and we can't focus on Jesus, because that's what happened when he was on the lake. They couldn't determine. Is it? Is it him? What is going on? There's a storm raging around us, the boat is being broken down, Everything is going to be lost and we are being buffeted. The Bible says the wind was against them. The elements are against us, but God is for us. God is for us, god is for you. Let's pray, father, in the name of Jesus. We come to you this morning and, lord, I pray. I pray for such an outpouring of your spirit. I pray, lord, for such an outpouring of your spirit over my brothers and sisters. I pray for such an anointing over their lives that they start to feel their bones moving. They start to feel their lungs expanding with the Holy Spirit, healing power of God, that they feel their shoulders being strengthened. They feel their heads being cleared out of stress and fear and doubt and weariness. They feel tiredness is lifting, sickness is moving, doubt is being broken down. Spirit of the living God, lift up my sisters and brothers in the house and online today. Let us feel the fire of God over us. Let us feel the fire of God Come. Let us feel the fire of God. Come on God, the fire of God. Let it rain. Let it rain as that prophet prayed. It's going to rain. Tell your body I'm going to get well. It's going to rain. Tell the finances it's coming back. In the name of Jesus.

Speaker 2:

I'm speaking to every area of my life and there is change. And I'm not going to live my life anymore in the boat, being buffeted by the waves of life.

Speaker 2:

Lord, I'm jumping out and I'm walking to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I'm listening to the voice of Christ. I'm listening to the word of God. My bones are strong, my blood is well, my mind is focused. Lord, I'm walking out of church free and set free by the word.
