Speaker 2:When I was at my worst, the moment when I heard you say my name. It's the first time in so long. I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid. You are the voice that calms the storm inside me. Castle walls that stand around me. All this time, my guardian was you. You are the light that shines in every tunnel there in the past. You'll be there tomorrow. All my life your love was breaking through. It's always been. I'll see you then. Northern Star, she loved to be. Just be right, castle. You are the rocks that calm the storm inside me. Castle walls that stand around me. All this time, my guardian was you. You are the light that shines in every tunnel there in the past, you'll be there tomorrow. All my life your love was breaking through. It's always been. You stood with me in the fire. It was you. It was always you who pulled me out of the water. It was you. It was always you who carried me on their shoulders.
Speaker 3:It was you. I know it's you.
Speaker 2:You are the voice that calms the storm inside me, castle walls that stand around me. All this time, my guardian was you. You are the light that shines in every tunnel there in the past. You'll be there tomorrow. All my life, your love was breaking through.
Speaker 4:It's all within you, thank you. I woke up this morning, saw a world full of trouble. Now I thought, how'd we ever get so far down and how's it ever going to turn around? So I turned my eyes to heaven. I thought God, why don't you do something? Well, I just couldn't bear the thought of people living in poverty, children sold into slavery. The thought disgusted me, so I shook my fist. At heaven. I said God, why don't you do something?
Speaker 3:He said I did, yeah, I created you Now listen.
Speaker 4:If not now, then when Will we see an end To all this pain?
Speaker 4:It's not enough to do nothing. It's time for us to do something. Do something. I'm so tired of talking about how we are God's hands and feet, but it's easier to say than to be live like angels of apathy who tell ourselves it's alright, somebody else will do something. I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired. Life with no desire. I don't want a flame, I want a fire. I wanna be the one who stands up and says I'm gonna do something. I'm gonna do something. If not us, then who? If not me and you right now. It's time for us to do something. Yes, it is, Come on. If not now, then when Will we see an end To all this pain? Oh, oh Well. It's not enough to do nothing. It's time for us to do something. We are the salt of the earth. It's time for us to do something. We are the salt of the earth. We are a city on a hill. We're never going to change the world by standing still. No, we won't stand still. No, we won't stand still. No, we won't stand still.
Speaker 3:No, we won't stand still no.
Speaker 4:If not us, then who? If not me and you? Right now, it's time for us to do something. If not now, then when? Will we see an end To all this pain? It's not enough to do nothing. Will we see an end to all this pain? It's not enough to do nothing. It's time for us to do something.
Speaker 3:It's time for us to do something. It's time for us to do something.
Speaker 4:Thank you, you didn't ask for this. Nobody ever would Caught in the middle of this dysfunction. It's your sad reality. It's your messed up family tree. And now you're left with all these questions Are you gonna be like your father was and his father was? Do you have to carry what they've handed down? No, this is not your legacy. This is not your destiny.
Speaker 3:Yesterday does not define you. No, this is not your legacy. This is not your meant to be. I can break the chains that bind you.
Speaker 4:I have a dream for you. It's better than where you've been. It's bigger than your imagination. You're gonna find real love. You're gonna hold your kids. You'll change the course of generations.
Speaker 3:Oh, this is not your legacy. This is not your destiny. Yesterday does not define you. No, this is not your legacy. This is not your meant to be. I can break the chains that bind you. You're not your meant to be. I can break the chains that bind me. You're my child, you're my chosen. You are loved, you are loved, and I will restore all that was broken. You are loved.
Speaker 4:You are loved you are loved, and just like the seasons change Winter into spring, you bring a new life to your family tree. Now, yes, you are. Oh, this will be your legacy.
Speaker 3:This will be your destiny. Yesterday did not define you. Oh, this will be your legacy. This will be your meant to be. I can break the chains that bind you.
Speaker 4:The chains that bind you, and just like the seasons change Winter into spring, you're bringing new life to your family tree. Now, days will come when you don't have the strength, when all you hear is you're not worth anything, wondering if you ever could be loved. And if they truly saw your heart, they'd see too much. You're beautiful. You're beautiful, you're beautiful you are made for so much more than all of this. You're beautiful, you're beautiful you are sacred, you are, you're beautiful, you are treasured, you are sacred, you are His, you're beautiful.
Speaker 4:I'm praying that you have the heart to fight, cause you want more than what is hurting you tonight, for all the lies you've held inside so long, and they are nothing in the shadow of the cross, you're beautiful, you're beautiful.
Speaker 3:You are made for so much more than all of this. You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You are treasured. You are sacred. You are his. You're beautiful Before you ever took a breath, long before the world began. Of all the wonders he possessed, there was one more precious Of all the earth and skies above.
Speaker 4:You're the one he madly loves Enough to die. You're beautiful. You're beautiful in his eyes. I'm out. You're a man for so much more than all of this.
Speaker 3:You are treasured. You are sacred. You are his. You're beautiful. I treasure you. I sing to you all of this. You're beautiful, you're beautiful. You're meant for so much more than all of this. You're beautiful, you're beautiful. You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You are treasured, you are sacred.
Speaker 4:You are his. When the path is daunting and every step exhausting. I'm not alone.
Speaker 3:I'm not alone. No, no.
Speaker 4:I feel you draw me closer, all these burdens on my shoulder.
Speaker 3:I'm not alone, I'm not alone. You pull me from this place, hallelujah, you carry me every day. You carry me all the way, hallelujah, carry me to the, carry me to the cross. How your love has moved me To the foot of all your glory. I'm not alone, I'm not alone. I'm not alone, hallelujah, I'm not alone. Hallelujah, you carry me every day. You carry me all the way, hallelujah, you carry me to the. You carry me to the cross. All these cities you have built and every cathedral you have built, all of creation you gave life With your hands. With those hands, you comfort me, lift me up from my knees and carry me. You carry me, hallelujah, you carry me every day. You carry me all the way, hallelujah, you carry me to the cross, the cross. Carry me to the. Carry me to the cross the cross.
