The Lord is with you wherever you are scattered across this world. We thank you for the tens of thousands of downloads that is across the world. We thank you for your support and please continue that. That is absolutely great that you're going in and you're pressing the buttons and you're supporting us and it's helping the ministry and it's helping covering the electric bill and everything that runs along with that. But wherever you are across this world, we are certainly getting ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2:Christ is coming, the King is on his way and wherever you are situated across this world I believe most eyes have been on america the last few days. It's very, very interesting the things that are coming out of america, things that are coming far and wide across the world. What's happening out in israel, what's happening across in the usa, all the things that are happening across the globe. Wherever you are today, we pray that you will find strength and you will find the love of christ and you will never give up in your life, that you will just press in in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. The Lord is with you and just remember that the power of the Holy Spirit is living in your life. You know you've got God with you. You know the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And whatever you face in your life, whatever you're looking at in your life, however you are feeling, I just pray that you will find rest, that you will find a place to rest, that you will find a place just to come to and you will just feel the love of god. And whatever your day is reflecting at this moment and whatever time zone you are across the world, we welcome you to this online streaming service and to many that will capture it on radio, many that will capture it for a podcast and on this visual. Uh, experience us through this service.
Speaker 2:Right now we're going to turn to Psalm 91. And as we turn to Psalm 91, I'm just going to keep. Hopefully, if God tarries to keep us in 1 and 2, verses 1 and 2. And, as I say, wherever you are this morning, you know, grab yourself a Bible, get ready. We're going to break bread and we're going to take it a cup, probably in about 35 minutes, somewhere around about there, and just remind yourself you know, whenever you go to church, it's really, really important that you break bread and you take it a cup, because it's scripture, it's what Jesus Christ tells us to do. He gives us this command. He tells us to break bread as often as we come together. You know, you see that in the book of Corinthians, you read about it. Jesus says as often as you gather in my name, whenever you're gathering in the name of Jesus Christ, it's really important that as we gather around the word of God, as we gather for prayer, we break bread and we take it a cup. You know, it's really clear that that's what Jesus Christ is expecting us to do when we come together in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, he is worthy of all praise.
Speaker 2:But wherever you are and whatever you are doing at this moment, whether you're at work, whether you're at home, whether you're on a school run, whether you're just getting yourself ready for the day, or whether it's the evening, whether you're capturing this in the early hours of the morning, you know, psalm 91 is a beautiful psalm. I call it the get out psalm, it will get you out of trouble, it will get you out of stress, it will get you out of fear. You know Psalm 91, that is the Psalm to put on the drumbeat of your heart, to put right down on the tablet of your heart, psalm 91. Now let's pick it up in verse one. So, wherever you are at this moment joining us, we thank God for your lives and we don't know who you are, where you are scattered. We just get a lot of stats, we get a lot of measures coming back, but it just tells us very, very clearly that there are so many people across the world. We thank you to the 74 countries around the world that download and with us on these streams, we thank you and we hit over 1,010 cities that we are seeing on there. So thank you. Wherever you are across the world, we just want to say thank you.
Speaker 2:And to the tens of thousands of people that download all our stuff through YouTube, through Instagram, you know, through the basic Facebook and all that sort of stuff, and especially through the major platforms, because ours is not visual, as is not a visual ministry, as is is getting the word of god over, so it's audible, so you can catch us on amazon music. You can catch us on alexa. You can catch us on uh, different radios, uh platforms, internet radio platforms that we're streaming to and we've got. You can capture us very clearly on the apple podcast, google podcast. You know buzzsprout that is our main base buzzsprout. If you want to support us, go into buzzsprout. Even in spotify and all these places you can support us, support the ministry, just by clicking, like you can buy us a coffee for free, three quid a month, you know, and we thank god for those that support us. But we just want to let you know. You know the gospel gospel of Jesus Christ is going across the world, the gospel of Christ. You know the second coming of Jesus.
Speaker 2:We need to really prepare ourselves. We've got a terrific amount of stuff coming out of America. Donald Trump has been very, very vocal and it's been extreme listening to some of the stuff. It's been very powerful listening to speeches. It's very interesting watching what world leaders are doing and how they're reacting. We are preparing for this one world globalization. We are preparing. It's very interesting also what he mentioned about the world health authority, what he he mentioned about tiktok as well. That was really really interesting and and stuff that he's mentioned about god and the way the rest of the world, whether this is not a political drive.
Speaker 2:Because what we are looking at, we are watching the book of Daniel, we are watching the book of Revelations, we are watching these books come together. We are watching the word of God, really just opening our eyes to see that we are being prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We're all very familiar with the first coming of Jesus because we all celebrate Christmas and all the razzmatazz that goes with that. The first coming of christ. That's been fulfilled, the scriptures have been fulfilled. Now we need to prepare ourselves for the second coming of jesus and we need to hear the church preaching on the second coming of christ. But this psalm, psalm 91, back into the scriptures. You know this is very, very relevant for where we are.
Speaker 2:If you are in trouble, if you're fearful, if you're going through anxiety, if you've got issues in your mind, in your family, in your life, in your relationships, at school, wherever you are, whatever's going on in your life, if you are worried about your own mortality, if you're worried about death, you're worried about breathing. You're anxious. You're not about death, you're worried about breathing, you're anxious, you're not sleeping well, you've got historical stuff that is in the closet of your mind and you don't know how to deal with it. Psalm 91, psalm 91. Grab yourself a Bible. You know, if you're at work, wherever you are commuting across the world and whatever you may be doing crisscrossing the globe, we would really encourage you to get Psalm 91. Put it on your tablet, put it on your phone, just flick it through now and have a read. But verse one and verse two let's have a read together, so, wherever you are.
Speaker 2:Thank you for joining us this morning for this online service that we got that is pushing out around the world. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. When you really unpack that and you get the fabric of that and you really look into that and you ask God, father, will you reveal this word to us? He who dwells you know when we live, when we live, when we live in the word. Now there is no one that has the capability to completely live, completely in the word of God, without fault, because the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of thy glory. There is only one, one righteous one, and his name is Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2:So what we do is, as we move and we migrate through the day, you know, from morning to afternoon, from afternoon to the evening, from evening to midnight hours, through to watch nights, as we live our lives and as we move to work as we, whatever we do, you know wherever we are in life itself, you know, you know we are always. You know God is moving us from glory to glory. He's moving us from faith to faith. He's moving us from blessing to blessing, and sometimes we don't think that we're going from blessing to blessing, but as we, as we, each millisecond, each moment, every second that goes past and goes forward, we are creating history and God has taken us into what he has for us, into the promised land.
Speaker 2:But we've got to live by faith. So when the Bible says, he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, he who dwells in the shelter, what is the shelter when we look at that, that analogy that the psalmist is using? He's referring to the Torah, to the Word, to the shelter. What is the shelter when we look at that, that analogy that the psalmist is using? He's referring to the Torah, to the word, to the scripture. We've got to live in the safety net of the word of God. And how do we live in the safety net of the word? What do we do?
Speaker 2:The safety net of the word is literally the scripture. We read it, we read it, we read it. We might struggle believing it because it is beyond the natural realm of this life. The word of God is far above the physical world that we see. It is in this place that we cannot see. It is this place that is only contactable. It is the place that is only accessible by faith.
Speaker 2:You know, the Bible says come and follow me. When Jesus called the disciples at the shoreline of Galilee, when he called the disciple, he said drop your nets, come and follow me. And that great story. That disciple had to leave everything that he had. The Bible says seek ye first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness. It's about seeking Christ.
Speaker 2:You know, none of us. Our lives are very chaotic. Some people may have them all together, some may have them all wrapped up in a lovely little bow and everything's boxed up and everything wonderful. But for the majority of the human race, we live our lives chasing the clock of life. We live our lives by chasing the money. We live our lives by chasing situations, people coming up to us, drama happening, this happening, this is breaking out. That's breaking out.
Speaker 2:I've got a problem here. I've got a problem there. There's something wrong over there. This is not happening. That's not working. I'm waiting for this job to come through. That's not coming through. I don't feel well today. We've picked up this. We've picked up that the kids are running around the wall. I'm beating my head against the wall myself. Everything's going wrong. You know, that is just called a human life, that is just life itself. But it's. How do we deal with that? You know, and it's very, very difficult, I'm having the hardest run of my life and I've got to be completely brutally honest with you. The hardest run of my life, the last number of years.
Speaker 2:But Psalm 91, psalm 91 is the place to be. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most high will rest in the shadow of the almighty. There is something powerful about resting in the shadow, in the shadow of the almighty. Resting, you know, because he covers us, he. He covers us with the blood of jesus, he covers us with love. He covers us with that, that fiery hedge, like we read in the Old Testament about Job, how he's being covered. You know, the Scriptures talk about the covering of the fire of God. God protects us, but I've got to live.
Speaker 2:You know, we might say to ourselves, well, my life does not reflect a Christian life anyway, shape or form. It is the most difficult life to live, to live through the word of God, because soon as you say to yourself, lord, I want to be holy, I want clean hands and a pure heart, if you say that scripture clean hands and a pure heart you will suddenly find yourself entering into an area of life that is absolutely, almost it is impossible to do, because all the flesh wants to do is to copy the world. The Bible says do not conform to the pattern of the world, but within our makeup, within our makeup, the flesh, you know, the flesh is chasing the flesh and the spirit is chasing this spirit world. So we've got conflict and sometimes the biggest battles that we face are the battles within ourselves and around ourselves and our thought place and our mind and our mindset and everything that goes along with that. The biggest battles that we can face sometimes live within us and we can be our own Goliath and we can find that we are making our own Jericho of our situations and we are fencing ourselves in.
Speaker 2:So if you need a get-out scripture, psalm 91 will get you out. You know Psalm 91, he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Father, we come to you this morning in prayer. We come to you in faith. We come to you in hope. We come to you in love. We come to you in fear. We come to you in doubt. We come to you in uncertainty. We come to you, dear God, not sure of what is going on. We come to you, lord, looking at the world, thinking oh, my goodness, what is ever happening to this nation? What is happening to this world, what is happening to every situation around us? So we come to you this morning, lord, with an open heart. And we come, lord, in fear. We come, lord, lost, and we come, lord, upside down, inside out, to the left, to the right.
Speaker 2:Lord, but, lord, we come on our hands and our knees and, lord, we're dragging ourselves to Jesus and we're trying to get to you and, lord, it feels like, lord, the majority of life, as a believer, lord, that we are trying to gather our way through the crowd. We are trying to touch the hem of your garment, but, lord, there is so much crowding around you, lord, there is so much around you, lord, it feels impossible to even get near you. Lord, life is so much around you, lord, it feels impossible to even get near you. Lord, life is crowding around and, lord, I feel like I'm on the edge, dear God, of your garment. I can't even touch the garment, lord, I feel it's impossible to get near you because life is so demanding.
Speaker 2:So, father, we pray that you will help us, lord, to open our eyes. Open our eyes because we want to see Jesus, we want to see you, lord, we want to feel your very presence. But, lord, we thank you that you are drawing us to the cross, that you are drawing us to each and every one of you. So, wherever we are, lord, across the world, and whatever life is reflecting to us at this moment in time, father, we thank you for an outpouring of your spirit, Lord, and we come to you, lord, not running, because we ain't got the energy to run because, lord, our bones are tired, we're weary, we're aching. There's an ache in lives today. There is fear in lives, but you tell us that perfect love drives out all fear. So, lord, help us. Father lord, we need the love of god.
Speaker 2:So, this morning, through this coffee and prayer, through this podcast, through this live stream prayer, through this podcast, through this live stream service across the globe, we thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus, and we pray for all those that are hurting today, all those that are hurting through life, through those that have, maybe we've made lifestyle choices that have been wrong. Maybe we've made business decisions that have been wrong. Maybe we've migrated to different areas of the world lifestyle choices that have been wrong. Maybe we made business decisions that have been wrong. Maybe we've we've uh, migrated to different areas of the world and that was a wrong move. Maybe we've bought bigger houses than we could ever afford. Maybe we got trapped in materialism and we're finding it difficult to cope with the bills. Maybe, lord, we're stressed out because of the, the back end of christmas, lord, and we're struggling through January with our thoughts, lord, as we look out the studio window over there.
Speaker 2:Lord, it's really gloomy out. Wherever you are in the UK this morning, here in the geographic of where we are from the studio, when you look out, it's gloomy, it's very grey, it's very foggy, it's dull, it's damp, it's got everything going on outside and that's how it feels like life is it's gloomy, it's gray, it's damp, it's moldy and it smells a bit. So, lord, we need the power of the holy spirit. Lord, help us to see. Lord, we want to see the sun. We want to see the blue sky. We want to see the sun rays.
Speaker 2:Lord, we want the clouds to move, in the name of jesus, we want the clouds of life to just be vaporized and disappear. Lord, we want the clouds to move in the name of Jesus. We want the clouds of life to just be vaporized and disappear. Lord, we want the clouds of fear to go. Lord, we want to see through the storm. Lord, we want to be like that eagle that soars on wings, dear God, like soar on wings, as of eagles.
Speaker 2:So, father, we pray for mental health, we pray for fear, we pray for anxiety, we pray for all the labels across the world. We pray, lord, for freedom. We pray for financial freedom. We pray, dear god, for, for freedom in life. Lord, wherever people feel trapped. Lord, wherever we've built this, this prison around us, and we never realized what was going on. We thought that we was beating the drum right and then suddenly, the, the snare broke, father, that the skin broke on on the on the drum.
Speaker 2:Lord, father, we just ask you, father, that you will touch lives, lord, whether we're in the house, we're out the house, whether in faith, out of faith, lord, we, we recommend, we remind ourselves, we remind ourselves of the book of joel on the book of acts, chapter two, both chapter twos, in the last days. I will pour out my spirit. I thank you for an outpouring of your spirit. But, lord, the second coming of Jesus, will you prepare us for the second coming of Christ? We watch the political platform. We feel the temperature rising in the spiritual realms. We see, we feel, lord, we understand that there are things happening that are very unusual. There is cosmic activity in the heavens above, lord. There is unusual things happening on the earth beneath there is, there is a move of this globe that we've never seen before. But strengthen us, lord. We pray that you'll strengthen us right now. Come holy spirit, in jesus name, amen amen, amen.
Speaker 3:Yeah, thank Father, that we can just sit here around this table and pray to you to look at your word, your infallible word. Amen, father, we pray that scriptures will be taken up. That scriptures will be taken up, that Bibles will be dusted off and read throughout the world, through our country here. That Bibles will be taken off shelves that have remained there for months, maybe years.
Speaker 3:They will be opened so that people can read your word, because your word is so powerful that it reaches right down amen to our innermost being yes, when we read your word, because we're reading what you say and you speak to us through your word. Um, I'm. I'm in psalms also this morning, and just a couple along from what Ben had just read, psalm 93. The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty. The Lord is robed in majesty and he is armed with strength.
Speaker 3:Amen. The world is firmly established. It cannot be moved. And this was a hymn. My footnote says here that this is a hymn in the eternal, universal and invincible reign of the Lord, a theme it shares, and this is majestic confirmation. It says that our God reigns.
Speaker 3:No matter what happens in our world, no matter all these situations, we can just turn on the news and see what's happening. We've mentioned all that's going on in America at the moment. Israel is still under stress and we pray for Israel, father God, we ask that you come to your people, that they will realise also, father God, all those people in the land of Israel will come to Christ, that they will realise that, jesus, you are the Messiah no-transcript and, as Ben has prayed this morning, that you will be coming back. We don't know when, no one will know, and we pray, father God, that we'll be ready, that your church will be ready. Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:We pray for our church in this land. Thank you, Jesus. So many divisions that are going on at the moment.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Father God, we pray.
Speaker 3:Father, god, that, as your psalm says it's psalm 133 that brothers and sisters will be unified. There will be unity amongst our brothers and sisters. And psalm 116 says I love the lord, for he heard my voice. He heard my cry for mercy, because he turned his ear to me. I will call on him as long as I live. The cords of death entangled me. The anguish of the grave came upon me. I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord and the next verse the Lord is gracious and righteous. Our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simple-hearted. When I was in great need, he saved me.
Speaker 1:Isn't that comforting. Yes thank you, Lord.
Speaker 3:When we call upon God. When we call upon God yes, thank you Lord when we call upon God, when we call upon God he reaches out his hand, amen and saves us.
Speaker 2:Yes, Father.
Speaker 3:And that's the message for today is that you have to call upon the name of the Lord.
Speaker 2:We call on your name, Jesus.
Speaker 3:It's no good sitting and doing nothing, no-transcript, and we can call upon him and be in relationship with him. So, father God, I thank you that we can be in relationship with you that we can sit with you, that we can talk with you, that you respond to us and, father, help us to be powerful witnesses for you. When those first apostles came across you, you called upon them follow me. And they realised and lots of them were rejects already, father God their learning had stopped that's why they went to be fishermen.
Speaker 3:Their learning, uh with them, their tutor had stopped. And then you came along and you said follow me. And there you were, the rabbi who would teach them everything.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus, Thank you.
Speaker 3:Father God, that we can call upon you and you call us. You gently call us, you don't force us. You gently call us. It's our decision to follow you. So we thank you, father God, that you sent your son, jesus, to die for us so that we could have life, and your word says that we will have life in all fullness. You want us to have a full life an exciting life a life full of joy and gladness.
Speaker 3:And so we pray, father God, for all those today who are anxious and maybe in depression, that you will come and meet with them, that you will say to them you will sit by them and say I'm with you, I'm for you, I'm not against you, that you will take away their sadness and their depression, that you will lift them up. That if it means a change of circumstance, father God, you will be in that, that you will be able to arrange and make it happen for them. And if anxiety is such an issue, father God, in our society at the moment I know several people who are anxious and have this anxiety in their lives. So, father God, come and meet with them, come and meet with them.
Speaker 3:Take them by the hand.
Speaker 2:Be their friend.
Speaker 3:Be their deliverer, but most of all be their saviour. So we thank you, father God, we praise you and Lord. I just want to read your word about Isaiah 53. Surely he took up our infirmities.
Speaker 2:Thank you for that.
Speaker 3:Carried our sorrows, amen. Yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted. And this is what happened he was pierced for our transgressions.
Speaker 2:Jesus.
Speaker 3:He was crushed for our iniquities.
Speaker 3:Yes, father, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Thank you for your stripes. So, father God, yes, we thank you for the wounds that you bore so that we could be healed, but we know, as it carries on to say, we are like sheep, have gone astray. Each one of us has turned to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Father, help us to turn back to you when we drift astray like sheep and when we are in that situation, draw us back. Father God, we need to be with you, we need to be in relationship with you and, father, I pray today that if anyone picks up this broadcast today who doesn't know you, that they will be drawn to you, that you will be gently calling them. Come and be in relationship with me, because I love you, because I died for you and I want you Come now. Come back to the fold. The lost sheep can be returned to the fold. We pray that, father God, now, in your powerful name, amen.
Speaker 2:Father, we come to you, lord, and there's so much to pray for. Father. Lord, as Andy's been praying and as we've been listening and reading the word of God, father, we bring this nation before you. We pray for the UK. We pray for UK Parliament.
Speaker 2:Father this is not political, this is spiritual, father, it's never political, lord, it's mind games, it's manipulation. Political, lord, it's, it's mind games, it's manipulation and it's like witchcraft. So, lord, we pray, father, for this witchcraft that is going on in in the political arena. Father, this sorcery, this, this, this work of of lucifer, this, this magic, lord, and we need to really get to grips that this is not of human intervention, but it's, it's really dark and it's it's, it's of the spiritual realm. So, lord, we ask you, father, because we see that political agendas don't exist in the word of god. Everything is spiritual, it's spiritual. So, father, we pray, lord, for the witches in politics.
Speaker 2:We pray, father, god, for black magic that is in politics. We pray for Freemasonry that's in the political arena. Lord, how dark Freemasonry is. So, father, we come against Freemasonry this morning. Father, we understand and we know through Scripture, we understand that Freemasonry is of the occult world and we pray for those that are caught in the occult world. Lord, jesus, and we ask you, father, for this spiritual temperature that is out there at this moment, this atmosphere, lord, of this leadership of this nation, lord, that is so demonic, so, so demonic. It's so against the human race, lord, but freemasonry, the occult world, black magic, white magic, father, god, uh, devil, worshiping everything that goes on in that area. Lord, father, we pray, father, as we try, lord, to focus, we, lord. We understand, father, why there's so much mental health issues across this nation. We understand why, why things are so hard and so awkward, because it is not a battle of flesh and blood, because the bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities in the heavenly realms, the authorities. So it is not against the human being of life, it is who they serve and it's who is living in their lives. So the battle is not with the person. It is within, the one that is living within the one that we have the area of issues with, because the bible tells us that our battle is not with your neighbor, our, our battle is not in these natural realms, but it's the one that they serve, the one that they follow, the one that is living within them. So, father, we pray, lord, for this political area across this nation. And, lord, we understand political areas do not exist in the Word of God. It's spiritual. So, lord, will you change the word of God? It's spiritual. So, lord, will you change the focus of the church in this nation to understand that it's not political, it's spiritual.
Speaker 2:So, father, we ask you for those that are really struggling, those with universal credit, those that are looking for a social housing issues, those that have got issues, dear God, with food banks, those that have got issues that are trying to feed their children, those that are just trying to get through the morning, trying to get through the evening, those that are really under pressure at work. We pray for the people that work in the ivory towers, that have no understanding of Jesus Christ. We pray for the Christians that go into working education. We pray for those that work in big establishments that don't know Jesus, that the leaders of these big corporations are atheists and they're devil worshippers. We pray, Lord, as Christians go into areas of work where it's tough, where it's hard that the work environment, lord, where it's brutal. So, Father, we ask you, lord, that you will move in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:And we pray for Christians that dabble in the occult world, where they go and have their tarot cards read and they have their teabag reading. And we pray, lord, for those that read the stars, that read the stars in the newspapers that also link into that. We pray for those believers that are gathering everything, trying to find everything, but don't get in the word of God. We pray, lord, for those Christians that believe that Freemasonry is okay. We pray, father, that you will open their eyes to show them that freemasonry is only one place, that it's leading you and that is leading you to lucifer himself. So, lord, we ask you right now that you will open the eyes within every one of us, lord. And as we look at the political temperature, lord, it is not a political temperature, it is the spiritual temperature that is happening, and as you are preparing us for the second coming of jesus christ. So, lord, we pray for strength. We pray for strength, lord. We pray, lord, that you will strengthen our bones, you will strengthen our minds, you will strengthen our legs, you will strengthen our hearts, you will strengthen our thoughts, you will strengthen our hearts, you will strengthen our thoughts, you will strengthen each and every one of us. That the fire of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, lord, will lift us and carry us.
Speaker 2:So, lord, when we talk about mental health issues, when we talk about depression and anxiety, the Bible says be anxious for nothing. Be anxious for nothing but Lord. I feel like sometimes I'm anxious for nothing. Be anxious for nothing but lord. I feel like sometimes I'm anxious for everything and I'm anxious for being anxious, and then the anxiousness opens up a door. It opens the lid to so much other stuff.
Speaker 2:Lord, lord, we pray for the mindset, we pray for the thinking, we pray for the power of that mind that we have, that it makes us overthink, it makes us and it takes us to a place that doesn't actually exist the spirit of the living God. We pray for all those that are down, all those that are depressed, all those that can't get out of the house, all those that have got social anxiety, all those that have got financial anxiety, all those that have got relationship anxiety, those that have got social anxiety, all those that have got financial anxiety, all those that have got relationship anxiety, those that have got educational anxiety. And also, lord, we pray for the biggest addiction that we've got social media. We pray, father, for this biggest addiction that is a global threat to the human race, is social media. So, father, we pray for the addiction for the social networks. Father, we pray, lord, that you will help us, lord, that you will break the addiction to social media.
Speaker 2:The biggest driver that the devil uses is social media. So, father, we ask you, lord, and even when we look at Christianity on social media, it's very, very weak, it's very loose, it's very, very fluid. It's running in the world, out the world. So, father, we pray that you will put on social media bible preaching preachers. Lord, that social media will come alive with the cross of calvary and not these little captions, not these little phrases, these texts that are taken out of context.
Speaker 2:So, father, we, father, we pray, lord, for this driver that is being driven across the world, known as all the platforms, all these areas of social media, lord, where they are characterizing us, where they are shaping us by what we read, by what we watch, what we hear. Father, I pray that we will never be shaped by social media, lord, we will never be shaped by the world. So, father, you tell us, do not conform to the pattern of the world. And the way that we conform to the pattern of the world, in the society that we all live around the world, is that we are conforming to whatever social media says, whatever it says, we buy Whatever it looks at. We look at Whatever way they lead us us, however, the rhythm of our scrolling. So, father, I pray that we won't, lord, be addicted.
Speaker 2:The biggest addiction across the world isn't drugs, it's social media. It isn't alcohol, it's social media. It isn't money, it's social media. So, father, I pray right now that the addiction will be broken and, lord, that we will pour the same amount of time that we're on social into the Word. Lord, how different would we all be, would I be, if I poured that time into the Word, into the Bible, rather than on the social media feeds, scrolling endlessly, looking for the happy button. When the Bible tells me come to me, all of you that are weary and heavy laden, the devil's Bible, if I can use that terminology, the devil's literature is social media. Break it. In the name of Jesus, spirit of the living God, help us not to conform to the pattern of the world, but have our minds renewed. Renew us today in Jesus' name. Brothers and sisters, wherever you are across the world, we come to you right now in the name of Jesus Christ, lord and we lift up the greatest name and right now, lord, father, send your fire.
Speaker 2:Lord, send your glory. Lord, break the spiritual onslaught of the devil's work in the uk. Break the spiritual onslaught in the name of jesus. Set the captives free from social media. The devil's literature is all the social media feeds. Come holy spirit, touch us as we enter into this time of worship, of freedom, of hope, of new beginnings in jesus name.
Speaker 3:Amen, yeah, thank you, lord says in matthew 11, uh, verse 12, for the, from the days of john the baptist until the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it. Father, we thank you that your kingdom is advancing, even when it doesn't feel like it, but your kingdom is forcefully advancing. We thank you for your word that gives us that encouragement. And your word also says in verse 28 of the same chapter Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Speaker 2:Amen.
Speaker 3:Yeah, father, we thank you that we can come to you and we thank you that your kingdom is advancing, no matter what the world will say, but your kingdom is advancing, no matter what the world will say, but your kingdom is advancing. We pray, father, that you will raise up mighty warriors for you, that your kingdom will advance. We praise that you will raise up ministers, evangelists, prophets, who will take your kingdom into all those situations, those dark places. We pray, father, for our communities, that the church will stand up. Your church, that is, your believers, will stand up and be your powerful witnesses. Your word and your command is is go and be my witnesses. We pray for that command to be fulfilled.
Speaker 3:Yes, lord, we pray that that will be so we thank you, father, that, um, you have never left us. So certainly my experience is when, when I found you, when, jesus, you came into my life, you have never left me thank you, lord you've always been by my side, no matter what. No matter what no matter what. In work situations in domestic situations, family situations, all situations. You have always been there.
Speaker 3:Amen and standing by me. So I thank you, father God, and I pray for all those who are really finding life difficult at the moment. Let them turn to you, father God, and gently call them, saying I'm here, I'm for you, I'm not against you. That be the message for them, that they can rely upon you because you will never forsake them. Hallelujah, thank you, father, that you sent your son Jesus. Wow, how amazing that we can have an encounter with the Son of God.
Speaker 3:And thank you that when you went back to the Father, you promised your spirit would come, and we thank you, holy Spirit, that you came to be with us to fill us. Fill us afresh this morning. We want more of your power. Holy spirit, come and fill us and go across the airwaves this morning. Yeah, fill all those listening to this broadcast today that, holy Spirit, do your work, powerful work.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:You are the healer. Bring your healing power to all those listening today. Thank you, Jesus. Give them strength, give them your word so that they can broadcast this themselves, that they can be your powerful witnesses that they're broadcast this themselves, that they can be your powerful witnesses that their neighbours next door that they will know that you are with them and that they know you, that they can be in relationship with you. We thank you, father, that this is so and no one can turn you back because you are God. Thank you, lord.
Speaker 2:Amen, Amen, amen, amen. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord.
Speaker 4:Just looking on BibleGatewaycom, there's also cross-reference with Psalm 61, verse 3-4 as well. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the toe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take your refuge in my shelter, off your wings.
Speaker 2:Yeah, there's a cross-reference there. Alex has just brought the cross-reference from Psalm 91 to psalm 61 and it says in verse 2. It says there from the ends of the earth, I call to you, I call. My heart grows faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, my strong tower against my foe. I long verse four. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings as we come to the table.
Speaker 2:We're coming to the table right at this moment, you know it's really important that we understand that, wherever you go to church, this should be happening all the time. Especially in the times in which we live, we need to break bread together. Wherever you are across the world. We invite you now to grab yourself just a piece of bread and a and a tiny bit of grape juice, maybe a bit of ripe bean or something that you've got that symbolizes the blood of christ. Whatever you've got around, whether you're at work, and we welcome everybody across the world this morning as we, as we join, as we lock shields of faith, just remember that we don't belong to religion, we don't belong to the structure and the mechanics of church. We belong to the kingdom, and God has you. But we invite you this morning to join us across this world, on the other side of the world, right on the other side of the globe, right within the vicinity of the church. We know that there are people right on our doorstep, from our doorstep, right out across this studio, right across the other side of the world. So, wherever you are, we pray that you will join with us as we gather at the table. At this second father, we come to the table. Father, we need you like never before. And, father, we break bread together right now, in the name of jesus and lord. As we're at the table, we pray, father, that you'll strengthen our hearts, lord, as we're laden down with worry and fear and issues in our lives, as we're laden down, dear God, with just stuff going on, just trying to live and breathe. So, father, bless this bread as we take it right now. Lord, we thank you for this bread as we take it right now. Lord, we thank you for this bread. Thank you that it symbolizes the body of Christ that was broken. From the garden of Gethsemane we see the brokenness of Jesus. We see Christ breaking. We see Christ crying, sweating droplets of blood, calling out to the Father.
Speaker 2:Maybe you're in the garden today. Maybe you're at that broken point. Maybe you feel like you're sweating droplets of blood because of financial pressure, because of relationship pressures, maybe because of education. Maybe you're being bullied online. Maybe maybe you've got stuff in the workplace and you're you're struggling in working in the ivory towers and you want to follow Jesus, but culture and life doesn't allow you. Maybe there's addictions going on. Maybe there's addictions to many things. Come to the cross, you know God loves you. God loves every one of us in this studio. God loves every one of us that this studio, god loves every one of us that's in this church this morning, scattered around doing what's going on. God loves every one of us, you know, and God is calling you. So, father, bless this bread. Thank you for this bread right now, as it symbolizes the body of Christ in Jesus name. Amen.
Speaker 3:Thank you, jesus that reference to the strong tower reminded me of a chorus we used to sing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:Many years ago. The name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and they are saved. Beautiful.
Speaker 3:And I thought where's that from? It is scripture and I found it. It's Proverbs 18, verse 10. And it says the name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe Now there's a song. That is scripture, and it's a song, a chorus, that we used to sing many years ago, and we can run to the Lord. We can run to the Lord and it's like running to a strong tower.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:And you can run to it and you are safe. You are safe in the Lord. So that's my prayer this morning that you are safe in the Lord and as we take this cup, the blood shed by Jesus for you and for me, and we just give you thanks, father God, that you sent your son and that he was obedient right to the end, and we thank you, father, amen.
Speaker 2:Amen, thank you. Thank you, lord. Cover us in the blood jesus, spirit of the living god, we are saved. Salvation is out of the hands of the human race. Salvation is out the hands of the church. Salvation is out the hands of any human being. Salvation comes from above and it's that great text, john 3 3 you must be born again.
Speaker 2:Thank you, god for salvation. That it's outside of religion, it's outside of the human race, it's outside of political, it's outside of monarchy, it's outside of money. I thank you, father, that there is not enough money in the world that can buy it. Not enough money in the world, all put together, can buy eternal life. With Jesus, you have been given a gift. You have been given the gift of eternal life and your name is stamped in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Speaker 2:I pray, wherever you are across this earth, that we don't get caught in the devil's literature, social media, that we won't get caught in the devil's fun print, won't get caught in the trappings of all the platforms looking for validation, looking for an answer to life. So we come out of the devil's work of social media and we we stretch everything and we put everything in the word of god. Why am I looking for answers on social media when I've got the answer in the word, why am I allowing myself to endlessly scroll through the greatest addiction the world has ever brought to us? It isn't drugs, it isn't money, it isn't all that stuff. Social media is the devil's drug and it keeps us away from Jesus. It keeps us away from the Lord, it keeps us away from faith. It keeps us away from what God has for us. We're trying to find the scriptures on social media. We're trying to find the songs on social media. We're trying to find the godly stuff on social media. There might be a glimmer, there might be just a sneeze of it across the platforms, but if I really want to read the biggest time feed, the biggest area of life, it is the word of God. So, lord, I pray for the biggest addiction that the world has ever been drawn into the social media platforms. Come Holy Spirit. We pray, pray, lord. What the enemy meant for harm, god will turn for good. Pour out your spirit over us today, lord. Fill us with your love and your mercy and your strength and your goodness, your power, your grace. Come, holy spirit.
Speaker 2:Wherever people are capturing this audible whatever podcast Lord, they're tapping into Lord and listening to this stuff. We thank you, lord, for the power of voice, because we don't need visuals. It's word. If Christ wanted us to get saved and to get blessed through the social media feeds, he would have said let there be vision, but he didn't. He would have said let there be vision, but he didn't. He would have said let there be cameras. He said the word became the spoken word because we don't need to see, because the bible says don't live by sight, live by faith. So visualization is not of the kingdom, it's by faith. So I've just got to hear the word. So get yourself under ministries that are preaching the gospel.
Speaker 2:It's not so much watching, it's not so much the camera activity. It's what I listen to, what goes in through my ear gate, what goes in through my ears, yes, and we capture everything through our eyes, and what our eyes see transfers to the mind. Then the mind transfers it either to blessing or to destroy us. That's the simple fact of life. I pray for every one of you, every one of us in the lord's house today, that you may find strength and you will find strength in the word of God. God bless you. In the glorious name of Jesus. Andy, will you take us out?
Speaker 3:Yeah, thank you, father, that we've met today, and thank you for all those who have been listening to the broadcast and who will listen to this later. And still on the theme of a strong tower, psalm 61 also says this hear my cry, oh god, listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth, I'll call to you. I'll call as my heart grows faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the firm. So, father, we thank you that you are the strong tower that we can run to, that it's fortified against the enemy. We can come and be with you, firm and secure in the knowledge that you are there. You are our protector, so we thank you that you've been with us this morning. We ask now Holy Spirit, come and touch all those who've listened this morning and who will listen later.
Speaker 1:And bring your healing touch. We pray in Jesus' name, amen, in today's audio. Remember the journey of faith is a continuous one and your questions and thoughts are important.
