Transforming Lives Through Divine Love (#1015 - Elim) 30-01-2025
In a world that often feels filled with uncertainty, fear, and doubt, it’s easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. But in moments of crisis, one truth stands firm: God is with us. In this episode of Divine Love, we explore how faith can overcome fear and provide guidance through life’s darkest valleys. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, facing personal loss, or simply need encouragement, this episode will remind you of God’s steadfast love and the transformative power of His promises.
We dive deep into Isaiah 41:10, where God reassures us: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God." This passage is a powerful source of spiritual comfort, offering us the peace that only God can provide, even in our deepest moments of uncertainty.
Faith as the Antidote to Fear
Fear can be paralyzing, but faith in God's Word is the cure. As Christians, we have access to the promises of God—promises that never fail. Throughout this episode, we share personal testimonies and biblical reflections on how faith dispels fear and brings peace, even amidst life’s trials. We’ll discuss how faith empowers us to move forward and trust in God’s divine guidance, and how the Holy Spirit strengthens us in the face of life's challenges.
If you're facing doubts or fear in your own life, we invite you to reflect on the power of prayer and the strength of God's promises. Faith isn’t just an abstract idea—it’s a living force that transforms our hearts and minds, leading us toward healing and spiritual renewal.
Global Revival: Transformation Through Faith
This episode is also a call for a global revival. Around the world, the transformative power of faith is awakening communities. In Iran, where Christianity faces persecution, believers are standing strong, trusting in God despite the odds. In the UK, where societal challenges and division are widespread, the growing need for spiritual renewal is undeniable. We discuss how prayer and faith are at the center of these movements, demonstrating the power of God’s Word to bring about real, lasting change.
As we explore Ezekiel 11:19, we see how God promises to give His people a new heart and spirit—a promise of spiritual renewal and transformation. The revival happening around the world today is a testimony to this truth: no matter how broken the world becomes, God’s Word is the catalyst for healing.
Jesus Christ: Our Hope for Healing and Restoration
At the core of this episode is the message of Jesus Christ—the ultimate source of hope and healing. Through His sacrifice, we are given new life, freedom from fear, and the strength to overcome anything life throws our way. As we come together to pray, commune, and embrace the transformative power of Christ, we are reminded that no situation is too difficult for God. He is always with us, providing comfort and direction through the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2:Good morning. God bless you, wherever you are across the world at this day, at this hour, whatever your time zone is around the world, we thank you and God bless everyone in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. As we gather for coffee and prayer, if you've got a Bible, let's turn to the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. Isaiah 41, verse 10, as we just gather around the word for some prayer, for some communion, as we just listen to see what the lord is saying through the holy word of god this morning, and wherever you are situated across this beautiful earth, may god strengthen you and carry you. In the mighty name of the father and the son. The holy spirit. There is power in the name of jesus, and jesus christ is with you. Wherever you are today, may the Holy Spirit lead you. May the power of God just cover you and may the hand of the Father just rest upon your shoulders. Today. You know, whatever life looks like, whatever you're facing, whatever your fears, whatever your doubts, whatever the mental health states may be in your thoughts, all that sort of stuff, whatever is going on in your world, you know we just need to push through and we never give up and we just keep pressing in and we just bring everything before the cross and lay everything down at the feet of jesus. You know that, the foot of christ at the foot of the cross, and as you see the cross over my backdrop there, and uh, you can see it says on the screen there never give up. We just keep pushing in and we keep pressing and we just keep trusting. You know, prayer is so powerful and we never give up in prayer and we bring everything to the Father. You know, whether you're commuting right now, whether you're just resting, whether you're at home, whether you're in a bit of turmoil, whether you're in a hospice, whether you're in a hospital, wherever you are at this moment, you know, maybe out walking, capturing this podcast we just pray that you will just feel the love of Jesus over your lives and you will just not allow fear to control. You know, fear is a very unusual, very powerful emotion, if we can use the word. Emotion comes from the, the darker side of things, you know. So we just got to deal with it and say, lord, god, you know it starts uh little and it starts ramping up. It brings anxiety, it brings doubt, it brings all types of uh thoughts and, uh, it can. It can really take your focus off what God has for you.
Speaker 2:So, wherever you are at this moment in time, let's dive straight into the book of Isaiah, 41, verse 10, as we see what the Scripture says for us. And then we're in verse 10 of this beautiful book of Isaiah and it says Do not fear, for I am with you. When you just look at that Scripture a minute, know. So do not fear, for I am with you. You know, do not be dismayed, for I am your god. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. You know, wherever you are across the world, wherever you're listening, if you're watching this through live stream, if you're on service with us, wherever you are at this moment, I pray that you will feel the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit and you will just find rest for your heart, your mind, your body, your soul, and as we're in Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. You know, there is something powerful about the cross of Calvary. There is something powerful about the love of god that overrides fear, that overrides doubt. You know, you know, fear.
Speaker 2:The bible says perfect love drives out all fear. That the love of god and the power of the holy spirit will lead you in paths of righteousness, wherever you are at this moment. We pray that the fire of god and and will just carry you. Whatever your life is reflecting, whatever your mind is looking like, whatever your financial situation, whatever your relationship situation, whatever, whatever your life is looking like at this moment in time, I just pray that you will just feel the love of Christ, and the love of Christ will be far above the fears and the complicated way that life can be. I really ask that God will strengthen you today, every one of us around the table, all those that are in the Lord's house, all those that are capturing our voice, capturing the word of God. So look what it says in Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear. I pray that you will not be afraid, that you will not be afraid of the terrors of night.
Speaker 2:If you look at Psalm 91, psalm 91, you know that is a beautiful psalm. Psalm 91, it talks about all the fears and the worries and the doubt, but at the end of the scripture it says God will give you a long life, he will satisfy you and that God will provide for you, that God will make a way for you. You know that Psalm 91, and it talks about fear for you. That god will make a way for you. You know that psalm 91 and it talks about fear. Do not allow the fear of the world, for he will command his angels concerning you to lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against the rock. It's really, really important that that we understand that that god will command his angels concerning you.
Speaker 2:If you are fearful today, let's just pray over these scriptures.
Speaker 2:Let's just take this isaiah 41, verse 10, and let's just pray through these scriptures. So it says so do not fear, father. I take this word as I read this word at this moment in time and, lord, I ask you that you'll help me not to be fearful. I pray, lord, that you will take the, the fear of money away, the fear of life, the fear of dying, the fear of living, whatever that may be, lord, I pray, lord, that you will just remove fear, lord, and the joy of life, the fear of dying, the fear of living, whatever that may be, lord. I pray, lord, that you will just remove fear, lord, and the joy of the Lord will be my strength, in Jesus' name, that I will feel your love today, lord, that your scripture says perfect love drives out all fear. So this morning, lord, we thank you that perfect love drives out all fear and, at the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit that the love of God will just move over each and every one of us, wherever we are across the world today.
Speaker 2:So, father, as we pray over Isaiah 41, verse 10, so do not fear, for I am with you. Father, we thank you that we will not be fearful, we will not be afraid because you are with us, lord, we will not be dismayed because you are our God. And right now, lord, we thank you that you are our God and you are our King and Lord, we just pray, father, that you will move in our hearts and our minds. Lord, that you will just give us rest for our spirit, lord, that you will just lift us and carry us, in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, lord, and we love you, we worship you and we adore you. Lord and Father, we thank you for the word of God and Lord, we pray that the word will strengthen us and the word will carry us, lord, through the valley of the shadow of death. That the joy of the Lord is our strength. We thank you for joy, lord. We thank you, for the joy of the Lord is our strength, and Lord, we pray for such an outpouring of your Spirit right now.
Speaker 2:Lord, father, we believe in Isaiah 41, verse 10, so do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. God is with you. The power of the Holy Spirit is with you and what we need to do is just come before the Father this morning, just come before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and we rest in his presence and we say Jesus, lord, will you make a way, will you strengthen us, will you help us today? Because you are the God of Israel, you are the King of Kings, you are the Lord of Lords. There is power in your name. You are worthy of all praise and Fathers, we gather around the word. We thank you that your word has strengthened us. Your word is life, your word is hope.
Speaker 2:So, father, right now, we thank you for the old testament, scripture of isaiah 41, verse 10. We thank you that the power of god is in us and the glory of the holy spirit has gone before us and all those that may be fearful, fearful of work, fearful of life, lord, just looking at their life, lord, and just looking over the platform of everything, Father, strengthen everyone today, lord, and let your love just abound around them. So, lord, we will not fear. I will not be afraid, because you are with me. Lord, I will not be dismayed, for you are our God, for you are our King. You will strengthen us, lord. You tell us that you will strengthen us. I will strengthen you and help you.
Speaker 2:Father, will you strengthen us this morning? Will you help us, lord, through the complicated path of life itself? Will you just pour out your spirit over us, lord? Will you let, dear God? Will you let us, lord, pour out your spirit over us, lord? Will you let, dear God, will you let us, lord? Will you carry us when I say let us, lord? Will you, lord, lift us. Lift us up, lord. Lift every one of us up today.
Speaker 2:Put the joy of the Lord in our spirit. Put the joy of the Lord in our heart today, lord, spirit of the living God, we thank you for your word. We love your word. We are so blessed, lord, that you're with us in our lives. We are so rich because of you, lord, and we're not talking financially, we're not talking, dear God, in the world, of the means of the world, we're talking. We are rich, lord, because we have Christ. We are blessed because we have Christ, and Christ is with every one of us.
Speaker 2:So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Father, we thank you that you are the way, the truth and the life.
Speaker 2:And this morning, lord, this morning, lord, I pray that the love of Jesus will abound over everybody's lives, whether we're commuting, whether we're in church, whether we're in a prayer meeting, whether we're in a vehicle, whether we're at home, lord, whether we're on holiday, whether we're traveling, wherever we are. Today, lord, I pray that the fear of the enemy will go. At the name of Jesus and the word of God will abound and the fire of God, lord, will just burn over us and within us today. Let your word burn in us today. Let your spirit, lord, be over us today. Lord, just come Holy Spirit, lord, strengthen us, lord, let your love, lord, just touch our hearts. Spirit of the living God, we thank you for what you're doing, for what you're going to do, lord. We love you.
Speaker 2:Father, come Holy Spirit, pour out your goodness, lord, and we worship you and we adore you. Goodness, lord, and we worship you and we adore you. But right now, lord, we believe in healing, we believe in miracles, we believe we're healed, we believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is with us, we believe that there is breakthrough, we believe that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, lord, is leading us and guiding us. And, lord, take us to a higher level in our lives, lord, and just enrich our lives, lord, and just be with us, lord. Come Holy Spirit, lord, wherever we are today, lord, whether we're listening through podcasts, through radio, through the camera, lord, whatever way it is, lord, let us feel your love today.
Speaker 2:Lord, take away the feelings of uncertainty. Take away, lord, the disturbing feelings of. We feel very odd and very strange. Take away the feelings, lord, of the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Lord, we pray for stability. Lord, you tell us that the just shall live by faith and, lord, I ask you that you help us to live by faith today, lord, that we will live by faith. Lord, that your word will set us free. Lord, that your love will abound. Lord, and your mercy, lord, will just graciously cover us today. Lord, let your mercy just cover us today. Spirit of the living God, we need you in our lives like never before. We need you in our hearts, lord, like never before. Lord, we need you around us, within us, over us. Lord.
Speaker 2:Lord, we pray for those that are hurting today. We pray for those that are just aching today. Lord with pain, those that are sufferinging today. Lord with pain, those that are suffering, lord just with life itself, those that are really stressed with money. Lord coming out of the, the backside of christmas.
Speaker 2:Lord jesus, we pray for those that are really suffering, lord with financial strain. Lord that you will just let there be healing that the, the financial pressure. Lord the pressure of working, the pressure of finding a job, the pressure, dear God, of being a Bible-believing believer in a world that is seeing the end times, lord, unfold before our very eyes, Strengthen us. We pray for peace. We pray for joy. We pray for the hope of God. We pray, lord, for the love of Jesus Christ that you'll sweep down through us and around us, lord, that your love will abound. Lord, we worship you today, lord, we adore you today, lord, and let your grace be over us. In the mighty name of Jesus' name. Amen. Good morning, good morning everyone. God bless you. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank God for your lives.
Speaker 3:It's good to be back. Um, if there's any rule that I've got about this morning, see if I understand this rightly the rule is that we don't prepare amen never we just believe and trust that the holy spirit is going to lead us.
Speaker 3:Hallelujah jesus in our readings, in what we do, and it's always a blessing to us here that he does week after week. Yes, father, well ben, well, ben was praying. Again, I couldn't believe it. I'm looking at Isaiah 42 and 43, and there was so much in that what was hitting me Ben was praying.
Speaker 3:And when he said we live by faith we live by the faith of the Son of God, his faith that what he's done is enough for us. Yes, lord, I tell you what God trusts in himself Amen, because all things were made by him and through him and for him. Yes, lord, we have the privilege of being brought into his kingdom purely by grace. He's done it all, thank you Jesus, and yet he's actually. He can do exceedingly more than what we ask or imagine.
Speaker 2:Amen.
Speaker 3:He can Thank, can do exceedingly more than what we ask or imagine amen, he can thank you. Things that aren't even on our radar suddenly turn up. But while ben was reading and he said something about paths, confusing paths, and here I am reading isaiah 42, 16. But I'm going to make it personal, I will lead you down- thank you, lord I do believe God's speaking to people.
Speaker 3:Yes, lord, you're in an unfamiliar place. Yes, lord, but it says I will lead you down a new path, guiding you along an unfamiliar way. Isaiah 42, 16. I will brighten the darkness before you and smooth out the road ahead of you. Yes, I will indeed do these things. Yes, father, then jumping over to 43, starting halfway through verse 1. Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. Do not be afraid, because why shouldn't we be afraid?
Speaker 2:Amen.
Speaker 3:Because he's ransomed us.
Speaker 2:Come on.
Speaker 3:Jesus. We're in covenant relationship with him. I have called you by name, you are mine. Where's our faith In our ability to follow the shepherd Come?
Speaker 2:on Jesus.
Speaker 3:Or in his ability to shepherd his people.
Speaker 3:Yes, lord, come on, our faith's in him not on us In my church we've got someone who's just come back to the Lord. Two weeks ago came in this week. He came back and he said I didn't take communion. I said why? And he said I'm just not in the right place. I said what do you believe in? A gospel of penitence? That when you've done enough, then you're acceptable? That's not the gospel. The gospel is we've got a saviour who stood in our place. Our faith is in him and what he's done, not in our ability to follow him absolutely 100%. It's not like that, is it? We've got a saviour. His name is Jesus.
Speaker 3:Yes, lord, Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. Amen, I have called you by name. Is jesus. Yes, lord, do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. Amen, I have called you by name. You are mine. Yes, lord, when you go through deep waters, I will be with you. Did you notice? It's when? Not? If no, when? Yeah, when, when, lord. He hasn't promised us an easy life, but he's promised to be with us when you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown.
Speaker 2:Thank you, jesus. Who feels like they're drowning? I am Tell you what. Yeah, you're not going to drown. Ben, I am, you're not going to drown, I'm close to it. Lord.
Speaker 3:Even though, when I went down for the third time, it woke me up when you go through rivers of difficulty.
Speaker 1:you will not drown.
Speaker 3:Hallelujah when you walk through the fire of oppression. God dear, isn't it hot? You will not be burnt up, the flames will not consume you.
Speaker 2:For I, the Holy One of Israel, the.
Speaker 3:Lord, your God, your Saviour, your Saviour.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Lord, you've saved us.
Speaker 3:We're a saved people.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 3:Lord, we've been saved. Why, as it says in verse 4, because you are precious to me, you are honoured and I love you. That's what God says about us. Yeah, we love him because he first loved us. In verse 5, do not be afraid, for I am with you. Come on Jesus. Jesus promised that I am with you always. Amen, even to the very end of the age. Until we see him face to face. He's there, working in all things for good.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:Put your faith back in him. Yes, lord, I will gather you and your children, from east to west. Isn't that good to know households?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:They're already sanctified. Amen. Because of his love and covenant grace towards us, lord, we want them justified.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 3:Father, we want them saved, we want them brought into the fullness of who you are. I will say to the north and to the south bring my sons and daughters back to me.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:So, Lord, we do pray that over our households. I want to thank you for the works that you're doing. So many testimonies abounding of your goodness and your grace and your calling Children back to you, amen. Thank you, jesus. Lord, we now speak over all our households, of every listener. Call, call from the north to the south, to the east to the west. Let your voice resound around the globe and call the prodigals back to you, amen. Thank you, Jesus. Call the children who've walked out on you back to you.
Speaker 2:Thank you For.
Speaker 3:Lord, you're the good shepherd who leaves the 99 for the one. What does that mean? You know every single one personally. Speak and call them back. Yes, lord, let us see revival in households. Let us see your grace and mercy fall upon us. Let goodness and mercy, and dare we even say, prosperity, overtake your people. That we will rejoice in the one who does exceedingly more than we could ever ask or imagine. Our faith's in you and we trust in you.
Speaker 2:Thank you, jesus, amen. Holy Spirit Come, holy Spirit, just move over us, lord Thank you Lord, yeah just. Thank you, Father.
Speaker 4:A scripture from Ezekiel which I'll read to you. It's from chapter 11, verse 19. I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 4:I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people and I will be their God. It's an amazing scripture that I think we as a nation are being called back to God. There is so much. There's turmoil in our land at the moment.
Speaker 4:There is you only have to look at governments and everything that's going on. And you just look further afield around the world Wars and rumours of wars, california All this is happening and I think we are being called back to God, and I think even in our churches we are being called back to god. There are so, uh, and I think even in our churches we're being called to revival, um, for, jesus churches um, we need to be called back to the word of god, I think we need to be a people who follow what this book says, and I've just started something in my church which is just really fasting.
Speaker 4:And Joel, chapter 1, says in verse 14, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly, summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the lord amen your god and cry out to the lord. I think we need to be crying out to the lord at the moment in in our churches thank you, jesus and uh, father, I just thank you that, um you, you've called each one of us. How amazing that you called us and you've been with us. Thank you, Jesus All this time, you've never deserted us.
Speaker 2:Never leave us.
Speaker 4:Even though we can desert you sometimes, but you call us back. Father Glenn prayed for the prodigals and we pray for those who've left you. We call them back now. We call them back. Come, Holy Spirit, speak to them today, Tell them that Jesus loves them. He loves them.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Father.
Speaker 4:He loves them so much that he died for them in their place.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Holy Spirit.
Speaker 4:So we thank you, thank you that we can sit around this table, comfortable and warm, and we pray, father God, that you will meet with those who are out in the cold, so to speak.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 4:Father, call them back into your assembly, your assembly.
Speaker 4:Amen so that we can worship you and praise you, that we can get strength from you. Call us, father God, equip us. And we know from the New Testament that you send gifts to each one of us. Testament that you send gifts to each one of us. That's the promise of when we come to you and when we turn to you, and when we ask Jesus to be with us and to be our saviour. You equip us. So, father God, help us to use those gifts. Help us to be true men and women of God. Help us to be bold and courageous, as it says in Joshua. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go. Let that confidence be there, father God, that you are with us, that you never leave us or desert us. So we thank you and, father, all those who are not feeling it at the moment. They feel that you've left them. You've left them and deserted them. Speak to their hearts this morning.
Speaker 4:Speak to their hearts and minds and put your loving arms around them and draw them back. Father God, we ask that in your powerful name, amen.
Speaker 2:Amen. Brothers and sisters, just before Glenn says something, I want to go back to Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand, wherever you are.
Speaker 2:Today, we've really got to dig into the scripture, into the power of God. We've really got to just say God, I need you today, like never before in my life. Today, god, I really really need you. Lord, this feels like I've never felt like this before. God, I need you. You are my redeemer and you are my king. Lord, what is happening? But, lord, I need, I need you in my heart today. I need you to sweep from my mind. I need you to deal with stuff in my life. I need you to help me. I need you to focus me. I need you to help me keep my eyes on Jesus. I'm just going to read it one more time and Glenn's going to carry us through the service Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Amen.
Speaker 4:Verse 19 of chapter 11. I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker 4:I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Thank you, Jesus. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people and I will be their God.
Speaker 3:How much striving's in that, how much fleshly striving. What does God say? I will, I will, he will give, I will, he will.
Speaker 2:He will Come on. He will Cool who I will. He will. He will Come on he will Cool.
Speaker 3:Who's got a heart of stone Me?
Speaker 2:Me, Lord, Me Lord. I struggle with that all the time. Please, Jesus.
Speaker 3:Not by human endeavour.
Speaker 1:By my grace, says the Lord.
Speaker 3:The flesh counts for nothing, but when he moves, whatever circumstance we're looking at, lord, how are you going to change them? He gives them a new heart. Yes, lord, he gives them a new heart, a new spirit within them yes, father. Thank you Jesus we're asking for you to move.
Speaker 3:You saved me amen and it scared the life out of one of my mates because he knew if you could save me he wasn't safe from your love. Lord, you can save anyone anywhere, at any time. You just wake us up. You move in our heart of stone and give us a heart of flesh. You give us a new spirit, lord, your Holy Spirit and everything's new. Amen. Thank you, jesus.
Speaker 2:Move in our lives again and again and again, Hallelujah Jesus.
Speaker 3:Moving our lives again and again and again. Hallelujah Jesus, lord, you are doing a new thing and, as Habakkuk says in chapter 1, verse 5, look around at the nations, look and be amazed. Thank you, jesus, for I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe, even if someone told you about it.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Have you heard what God's doing in Iran?
Speaker 2:Exactly.
Speaker 3:Iran. I'm not very good at geography. Would Iran be near Babylon? Would it be?
Speaker 2:Middle East and Syria. Yeah, it's all around there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:I'm raising up the Babylonians. It says Iran, a friend of mine. I'm raising up the Babylonians. It says Iran, a friend of mine. I went to Albania with him just a few months ago and we did mission all around this Muslim country, 70% Muslim, although very secular. He's now doing. He lives in the UK I can't say where because he might get reprisals from the surrounding. Muslim community, but he's put on a discipleship course for Muslim seekers. What do I mean Muslim seekers? Muslims who are looking for truth.
Speaker 1:Muslims who are wanting to know who God really is.
Speaker 3:Pour out your spirit and they're beginning to see that the God of truth, his name is Jesus. He is the king, the one true God is Jesus, so he's doing a discipleship course. Yes, father, in his local community for these Muslims who are seeking Jesus. He's got between 50 and 60 coming to his first discipleship course.
Speaker 2:Look at that.
Speaker 3:Mostly Iranians.
Speaker 2:There is power in the name. Power in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 3:I was talking to another local church leader. Yesterday spent the afternoon and we meet regularly.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:They were praying because they had a void in their church of 20 to 30-year-olds. They've now got between 60 and 70, 20 to 30-year-olds.
Speaker 2:What is going on in the UK, god? What have we done?
Speaker 3:What have I done, god, if my people will humble themselves and pray. I will hear from heaven. Thank you, jesus. Lord, I want to thank you Again, lord. Yeah, we're yours, saved by grace Alone, lord, we know it's you who changes people's hearts. Yes, lord, and you want us, lord, to be partakers in your kingdom activity here on the earth and the way we do that, lord. And you want us, lord, to be partakers in your kingdom activity here on the earth and the way we do that, lord is.
Speaker 3:We pray, amen. We seek you. We dare to seek you. We dare, lord, as Andy's already said, to have seasons of prayer and fasting. Come on, jesus, to set aside the things of the earth and to focus on your kingdom coming. Pour out your spirit. Lord, I want to thank you for my friend's discipleship group. Hallelujah, Lord, bring revival amongst those.
Speaker 3:Iranians, Lord you're already doing it in the home nation. It's amazing what you're doing there, building your kingdom. Pour out your glory, lord, spouting, bringing into confusion the satanic stance against you. They demolished churches. Suddenly, you saved the people who demolished them and now the Christians gather in the mosques Hallelujah, thank you, lord. The earth is the Lord's and everything in it. Lord, I want to thank you for this church where all these young people have turned up and families are turning up.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:We do ask that you will not pass us by as well. No, jesus, that we would see revival in our households, in our churches. Lord, move across this nation and cause your nation, lord, to be where we should be your church. Come on, pour out your spirit, lord, on our knees, saying your kingdom come, your will be done, not our kingdoms, not our wills, but yours. And we want the privilege, lord, of just being able to facilitate a move of you around us, lord, thank you Jesus. Thank you, jesus. Give us that new heart, give us that new spirit that we will truly know you and walk with you.
Speaker 2:Thank you, father, amen Amen.
Speaker 4:Haggai as well, which is called to mind. It's all on the same scene, really Haggai 2, or Haggai, as some people would say, verse 6. This is what the Lord Almighty says. In a little while, while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land, I will shake all nations. Isn't that going to happen? He's shaking the nations and I will shake all the nations and the desire of all nations will come.
Speaker 4:I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord Almighty silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the lord almighty the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the lord almighty and thank you.
Speaker 2:In this place I will grant peace, declares the lord, don't? We want peace yeah, yeah, peace is so important. Peace is really like. Come on, lord we need peace, Thank you.
Speaker 2:Lord, father, we pray for peace today and Lord, we pray, lord, for peace in people's hearts, their minds. Lord, we pray for the restlessness that's out there. Lord, that's so restless. Lord, people are so restless. Father, I feel so restless. I've never been so restless in my life. Lord, I feel agitated, I feel frustrated. Lord, I can't seem to find that place, lord, to rest anymore. Lord, it feels like the world has just tipped me upside down and shaken me. Lord, we pray for peace in hearts. We pray for peace in churches, every church, every denomination. Father, we really need God in this nation. Father, I've never felt so godless as a nation. I've never felt so godless in living in the UK.
Speaker 2:Lord, it feels like we've been invaded by locusts. It feels like there is locusts on the streets. It feels like an Old Testament swarm has just been opened up. Lord, it feels like the plagues. It just feels like Sodom and Gomorrah. It just feels dirty, lord, it feels grimy. The world looks really bleak in certain areas and, lord, the reality of church in the UK is so boring.
Speaker 2:Jesus, I'm so bored of church. Lord, I'm so bored of religion. I want power of God. I want to see this God that I read about, lord, all these marvelous, unbelievable, beyond human reasoning revivals. Lord, I want to see the dead raised. I want to see people being raised from the dead, I want to see the impossible be impossible. But, lord, church is just so boring.
Speaker 2:Jesus, lord, religion is just beating the same drum, same songs, the same way, the same move, the same car park space, the same times, lord, the same rhythm of everything. Lord, please, god, we're crying out. Enough is enough now, god. Lord, we got locusts on the street. Lord, we've got a mix of everything coming across the channel. We've got everything. The locusts, father, are out. Father, god, we've got lawlessness.
Speaker 2:Lord, we see that we're in the end days and we understand why we feel the way we feel. And, lord, we feel, dear God, that we are in serious trouble as a nation. Lord, when we look at the news and when we hear what's going on. And, father, we understand that the police have got no control unless you're a Christian and you can be arrested. We understand that the government, lord, is not bothered about anything, but if you're a Christian preaching the gospel, they will come down on you. We understand that education is allowing everything, but if you are a Christian preaching the gospel, they will come down on you. We understand that education is allowing everything, but if you are a Christian, you can't speak out in your classroom. We understand that HR offices will allow Muslims seek prayer times anytime, any moment, anything, but if you are a Christian, sit back at your desk and get back to work.
Speaker 2:Lord, we need an outpouring of your spirit. We have never been Father in such a crisis point in this nation. Spiritually, we are anorexic. We are so thin spiritually but we are fat in sin. We are obese in religion. We are obese in the world. And, lord, we're in trouble.
Speaker 2:This nation is in serious trouble and, lord, all the scripture that comes to my mind is when the disciples cried from the boat don't pass us by Jesus, don't pass us by God, holy Spirit, don't pass us by Father. We need you to reign over this nation. We need a king. We need a king. We need the saviour of the world. Come, father. We need a great outpouring of your spirit. We need a great outpouring of your mercy.
Speaker 2:Lord, all the mental health issues, all the lack of finances, the food banks that are just increasing all the time, lord, we, we see lord, a famine, such a famine, and the locusts are on the streets. The locusts, the four types of locusts that the scripture speaks about, is on the streets and every corner the locusts is devouring this nation. But, lord, you tell us that you will restore. You will restore, you will restore, but when are you going to restore? Where are you, god? Where are you? Oh god, spirit of the living god, the uk, the british isles, england, great britain we're not even allowed to use certain terminologies. I'm surprised they're still allowing us to say can I have a cup of English breakfast tea? That will be the next thing. That will be offensive. It will be can I have a cup of multicultural tea?
Speaker 2:Sisters and brothers, we're in a serious crisis and the church has gone all pink. It's gone all go-gay, it's gone all rainbow flags and we're in serious trouble. God, I ask you that you will pin me to the cross, keep me at the cross. And if anyone is bold enough to say keep me at the cross, come fire of the living God, fire of the living God. We need fire on the streets, god, fire of the living God. We need fire on the streets to take out the locusts. We need fire in the church to bring the dead back to life. We need fire of the Holy Spirit, of the Holy Spirit. We haven't got a glimmer of a candle or a flame. The fires are burnt out. What we need is, when we look at America, the raging fires of heaven to purge this nation. We need the refiner's fire in every church, every pulpit, every house, every life, every color, every creeded, every religion. We need the purging fire of the god of israel. Purge us, carry us, anoint us in jesus name, amen, amen. Joel 2 is talking about locusts.
Speaker 3:I will restore.
Speaker 4:The day of the Lord is great and it's going to be dreadful. Who can endure it? And it talks about the army of locusts.
Speaker 1:And before them fire devours. Behind them a flame blazes well, that's happening, and they have the appearance of horses.
Speaker 4:It says they're pretty big locusts and they gallop along like a cavalry and with a noise like that of chariots, they will leap over the mountaintops like a crackling fire, consuming stubble like a mighty army drawn up for battle at the sight of them, nations are in anguish, every face turns pale they charge like warriors, they scale walls like soldiers.
Speaker 4:They all march in line of. Of course, when this was written, there was no defence against locusts in the farm, not like we have today. We can actually insecticide and all that sort of stuff, but here there was no defence and everything was wiped clean.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 4:Lord, everything was devoured.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 4:And then that follows in in Joel rend your hearts. Even now, declares the Lord, yes, lord. Return to me with all your heart. Thank you, jesus, with fasting and weeping and mourning, fasting, rend your hearts not your garments. Return to the Lord, your God, for for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love and he relents from sentient calamity.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 4:And that just reminds me of that song. He is gracious and compassionate. Slow to anger.
Speaker 3:Yeah, the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
Speaker 4:yeah, so, but God is good. So be not afraid. Afraid, be glad and rejoice. Surely the lord has done great things. Be not afraid, for the open pastures are becoming green, the trees are bearing their fruit, the fig tree and the vine yield their riches. Be glad, oh people of zion yes joyce in Lord, your God. Hallelujah For he has given you the autumn rains. In righteousness, he sends you abundant showers.
Speaker 4:Yes, Lord Both autumn and spring rains as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain, the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.
Speaker 2:Come on, Jesus.
Speaker 4:The great locusts and the young locusts, the other locusts and the locust swarm, my great army that I send among you. You will have plenty to eat and you are full. Until you are full and you will praise the name of the lord, your god, who has worked wonders for you. Ever again will my people be shamed.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord Jesus.
Speaker 4:Then, you will know I am in Israel, that I am the Lord, your God, and that there is no other. Never again will my people be shamed, marvellous.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus Father.
Speaker 4:God also. This morning we pray for Israel too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, peace in Israel.
Speaker 4:We pray for that, lord God. What you're doing there, father? There are sort of negotiations coming to a point now with Hamas that will bring some conclusion. We pray, father God, that you will be in there, that justice will be done here. Father God, that you will be in there, that justice will be done here and a conclusion will be made in your powerful name. We pray that Amen.
Speaker 2:Amen. Thank you, jesus, pour out your spirit. Lord, brothers and sisters, before Glyn brings the next scripture, we've got about four minutes before we we're going to break bread. So if you want to prepare yourselves, wherever you are across the world, we thank you for the tens of thousands of downloads. You know we're going to break bread. So if you want to prepare yourselves, wherever you are across the world, we thank you for the tens of thousands of downloads. You know we're over 1,000 cities now and we're over I don't know 75 nations, I believe. So wherever you are, whatever city you're in, wherever you're listening, whatever nation you're in, may God bless you. But we're going to about four minutes now before we're going to break bread and we're going to come to the table of the Passover table. So grab yourself a bit of bread and a bit of wine or a bit of grape juice, whatever it may be. So about four minutes time. Thank you, glenn.
Speaker 3:Yeah, there is a theme. There's always a theme, isn't there these mornings? And Isaiah was very much in the same theme. Isaiah 63, verse 15. Isaiah prays Lord, look down from heaven, look from your holy, glorious home and see us. Where is the passion and might you used to show on our behalf? Where are your mercy and compassions now? Come on, jesus. Surely you are still our father, even if Abraham and Jacob would disown us. Lord. Surely you are still our father. Even if Abraham and Jacob would disown us, lord, you would still be our father. You are our redeemer from ages past. Lord, why have you allowed us to turn from your paths? Why have you given us stubborn hearts so we no longer fear you? Return and help us, for we are your servants, the tribes that are your special possession. How briefly, your holy people possessed your holy place and now our enemies have destroyed it thank you lord sounds like they're talking about our nation.
Speaker 3:Sometimes it seems as though we never belong to you, yeah as though we had never been known as your people. The UK was once known as a real place. It was A Christian nation.
Speaker 2:A real.
Speaker 3:Yeah, glasgow, wasn't it known as the people of the word, the city of the word, glasgow? Not now? Blessings Glasgow. But Isaiah prays in chapter 64, verse 1, and I think this is what we've all been praying oh, oh, that you would burst down from heaven. Thank you, jesus, that you would come down and make the mountains quake in your presence.
Speaker 2:Yes, lord.
Speaker 3:As fire causes wood to burn and water to boil, your coming would make the nations tremble. Then your enemies would learn the reason for your fame. When you came long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And how the mountains quaked. Amen. For since the world began, no ear has heard, no eye has seen a God like you who works for those who wait for him.
Speaker 2:Come on, Jesus, pour out your spirit.
Speaker 3:This is what makes our God different to idols and every false religion out there. That's every other religion actually. Actually, that's every religion it's relationship with Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. No, I have seen a God like you who some translation says, does things or works for those who wait for him. Come on, jesus, those who wait upon the lord who will know that even it will renew their strength even young men grow tired and weary, but those who wait upon the lord will renew their strength.
Speaker 3:Thank you. They will rise on wings like eagles, thank you. How?
Speaker 4:sore.
Speaker 3:Holy Spirit, they'll soar.
Speaker 3:Lord, I want to thank you that you have not forgotten us, but you have displayed to us, lord, what it's like when we turn away from you. You've allowed us, as a nation, to see the devastation through every area of society that suddenly springs up. When we turn our gaze away from you, identity is lost, so that the people don't know their left hand from their right hand. Some don't even know their gender, and yet it's so obvious. Come on, jesus. Lord, they are all like sheep without a shepherd Lost. Have mercy, lord. Let truth resound again in this nation. Revive your church. Move, lord, do things. Cause the nations to tremble again. Jesus, when you came and walked upon the earth, the world was turned upside down. Come on, father.
Speaker 3:When people tried to argue.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:The man who was accused by the Pharisees said look, I don't know, but what I do know is I was blind and now I can see. You're the one who raises the dead. You're the one, Lord, who calls the things that are not as though they are. Thank you, Jesus. Lord, flood us with your kingdom, Turn the world upside down, Shake the nations again, but not just with devastation, but with good things that come from you. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Heal the sick, Raise the dead. That's the commission of the church. Then give us, Lord, the weapons of this warfare that when we say, in the name of Jesus, be healed, they'll be healed. That when we say, Lazarus, come out of your tomb, the dead will be raised again. Amen For Lord, that is your commission. Pour out your spirit. That is your calling on your church.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:Then, lord, to restore the years the locusts have eaten and cause your church to be exactly what you said she'd be.
Speaker 2:Amen, amen thank you, jesus. Brothers and sisters, we're coming to the table. Wherever you are across the world, will you join us as we break bread together, as we take the cup together? So, wherever you are at this moment in time, as we, as we just gather our thoughts, you know, and uh, there is no one worthy to take the bread and the wine. There is no one worthy of this, but with the power of god and through the power of redemption and the power of the blood of jesus, there is no one, no one on this earth, that can say that within themselves they are worthy, because all are sinners and falling short of thy glory. We are always backsliding, we are always falling and sliding, but god is always rescuing, god is always talking to the prodigals, god is always drawing those back that have just run off and just gone off without thinking and just done crazy things, and the mind is overtaken and all that stuff. That goes on. Wherever you are. We pray that the love of God will just strengthen you, that the love of God will just bring you to a place of it's okay, because that's what we need.
Speaker 2:This nation has sunk. This nation is in a mess, but let's not allow ourselves to sink with it because, as the scripture said, we will not drown. The nation has gone and the nation is probably never going to be able to be redeemed, but the people are and we need to pray for the government that are taking this nation to hell. We need to pray for the government that are taking this nation to hell. We need to pray for education that's steering our children to the darkest sides of so much stuff. We need to pray that the Lord will lead this nation, not as a nation as the earth and not as a government, but the Lord will lead the people in the body of Christ to stand up for the end time harvest, because the government has gone. Lawlessness is everywhere. Fear is across every platform. So many people are addicted to social media and getting their food and what I mean is their spiritual food from social media and it's watered down and it's dangerous.
Speaker 2:We need to come back to the scriptures, not just reading scripture off social media, but turning everything off and sitting in the stillness and reading a paperback version of the Word of God. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will go to church with a Bible in our hands and not the phone. I pray, dear God, that we will go to sleep with the Bible in our hands and not the phone. I pray that we will wake up with the Word of God in our hands and not the phone. Lord, I pray that we will not look to social media to get what we need, but we will open up the word of God and your word will feed us. Come, holy Spirit, pour out your love over us today, but we're at the table right now. In Jesus' name, amen.
Speaker 3:As we take the bread stand in Isaiah, isaiah 53, verse 5. He was pierced for our transgressions and he was crushed for our iniquities. He was beaten so that we could be whole.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:And he was whipped so that we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. Hallelujah. We have left god's paths to follow our own. Yet the lord laid on him yes, for the iniquity of us all. Thank you, jesus. As we break the bread, we're saved because he's paid for us. He's taken the beatings, he's taken the alienation from God. The Father turned his face away from the Son on the cross as he took our sin upon him. Yes, lord, so that God's gaze, the love and gaze of the Father, will be with us always. Hallelujah, because of Jesus, his body broken for us.
Speaker 1:Amen.
Speaker 3:Let's eat the bread in celebration of that.
Speaker 2:Thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3:Jesus, we thank you that you've done it. Your body has been broken. You were pierced. It's been done publicly, for every eye to see. Wasn't a hidden affair, jesus? You even tasted the pangs of death. You died. Tasted the pangs of death. You died. The wages of sin is death. You paid that wage and yet you were sinless, so death had no hold on you. Thank you, lord, and had to let you go. You rose again, but you've paid the debt, not for yourself, but for me. Thank you, father, for us, for anyone whoever acknowledges you as Saviour and Lord, come on. Jesus has had it all paid for them. You've stood in our place. We have a Saviour. His name is Jesus, hallelujah.
Speaker 2:Amen, amen. He's the Saviour of the world. His name is Jesus. Thank you, lord.
Speaker 4:Father, we just thank you for who you are and for your son Jesus. And continuing in Isaiah, he was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her. Shearer is his silence. So he did not open his mouth.
Speaker 1:Thank you.
Speaker 4:Father, father, that you went to the cross and shed blood, which we remember now as we take this cup Amen.
Speaker 2:Thank you Lord, Amen. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord, Sisters and brothers, wherever you are across the world, we pray that you will find peace, you will find rest, you will find the love of Jesus, as we're just in the back end of this service, and may God strengthen you and may the love of God be over you Wherever you are across the world. We thank God for your life. We're coming to the close of the service and I just want to read one more time. I just want to read from the book of Isaiah, Isaiah 41, verse 10. We've had lots of scriptures come out this morning and it says Do not fear, for I am with you.
Speaker 2:Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. May God bless you and carry you in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ. He is the King, he is the Saviour of the world. God bless, take care. We're going to hand over to andy. Andy is just going to share something about some bibbles.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I've got a copy of the new testament with psalms and proverbs here and, as, as you all know by now, I'm a member of good news for everyone and we distribute god's word in all the traffic lanes of life, really, and if you want a copy, if you need a copy, they're here for you, so just get in touch.
Speaker 2:Amen, god bless. God bless wherever you are. Thank you so much for joining us wherever you are across the world. May God bless you and strengthen you until we see you this evening, you know, in the lord's house, in person and online. God bless, have a wonderful day eight o'clock this evening.
