Speaker 2:

Good evening, good evening. Thank you for joining us this evening. Wherever you are scattered across this beautiful earth, may God strengthen you and bless you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Before we go any further, let's just be bowed in prayer. We welcome a lot of people in that house this evening, a few people coming to join us tonight, and it's good to see so many people online, wherever you are scattered across the world. May God bless you and enrich your lives as we just gather around the word of God.

Speaker 2:

As we always say, we apologize for a bit of a back echo, a bit of unusual back noise, when you listen to this back in the world of podcasting, but, as you know, we're up in the Christmas season. We just want to say thank you to everybody that's been to all the services through the years, online, offline, in the Lord's house. We have had a really blessed year with the amount of people you know in the Lord's house and also, obviously, online. We've hit some crazy figures, but we just want to say thank you to everybody online and everybody that watches, everybody that listens, everybody that shares off, cross all the social platforms and especially in the world of podcasting, those people that we will never see on this earth. But when God calls us on, we will see them up in in the realms of glory. In the name of Jesus. But if you have a bible, let's get ourselves ready. We're going to turn to the, the good book of Matthew, chapter 14. Matthew, chapter 14, verse 22. We're going to turn to Matthew, chapter 14, verse 22, 22. But before we go any further, let's just pray and if you've got any prayers, any requests, put them online and no doubt someone will pick them up and we'll just pray for one another. But it's good to have the scriptures online, it's good to have the word of God, you know on point. And so I see Stuart's on there. So Stuart, grab them if Alex don't grab them in time. So, whatever happens, they will be online in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

But God bless every one of you. We're, we are in very good times. We're in good times, the season. It's very interesting, isn't it? See, that there's many storms blowing across the world. And I'm talking about the physical storm before our eyes, the seasonal storm, the weather storm. There is something very the temperature, the atmosphere. There's something very unusual brewing in this world. There is something happening. You know we can't escape the fact. You know that you can feel the tenseness, you can feel the heaviness, you can feel the heat of the atmosphere, but let's pray, let's just pray.

Speaker 2:

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for everybody in the Lord's house with me this evening. We thank you for everybody online tonight. Wherever people are scattered across the world, we come before you as our Lord and our God and Father. We thank you for the fire of God. We thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit. But right now, lord, father, we want to see, lord, this nation coming to the cross of Calvary. We want to see this government, we want to see Kirstama born again, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favoured Lord Sadiq Khan. We pray, lord, for them tonight, lord, that you will save them, that you'll wash them in the blood of Jesus. We pray, lord, for education. We pray for schools, colleges. We pray for the churches. We pray for leaders. We pray for us tonight, lord, that you will fire us up, that we will feel the fire of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, that this will be the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad. But, father, we thank you for this unusual atmosphere, this unusual sense that something is stirring in the heavenly realms and spirit of the living God. Send your glory to this nation, lord. Bring us to the cross the Calvary. Bring us to the cross, lord. Bring us to the cross of Calvary. Bring us to the cross, lord. Bring us to that place where we can rest and be still. Teach us how to get to the cross. Show us how to get to the cross. Reveal your word. But tonight, lord, we believe in healings. We thank you that there is healing. We thank you that there are miracles. We thank you that the power of God is over us, that the spirit of the living God is moving through every area, through every fiber, through every place. The glory of God is all around us and the kingdom of God is within. Lord, I pray for everybody online tonight. I thank you that they're healed. I pray for everybody in the Lord's house with me that they are healed in the name of Jesus, those that couldn't make it tonight, as they capture the audible later, as those that will capture the visuals later through social networks. We pray that whenever we capture, lord, this online service and this radio service, lord, that you will carry every one of us.

Speaker 2:

But, Lord, we're tired of church, we're fed up with church, we're bored of church. We want the kingdom of God. We want the fire and the power. We want the kingdom of God. We want the fire and the power, we want the anointing. We want to see the glory. We want to see Jesus Christ lifted up. Lord, we don't want to see flags lifted up. We want to see Jesus lifted up, lord. We don't want to see man lifted up. We want to see the king, the king of kings, lifted up. Spirit of the living God, move by your glory.

Speaker 2:

But tonight, lord, we declare, we declare. But tonight, lord, we declare, we declare and we decree that the word is moving over our lives, that we are well, that we are healed. We pray, lord, for that great big bear and that lion of mental health and stress and worry and fear to go to melt, lord, like wax, in the name of Jesus. So, father, any one of us that is struggling with fear, any one of us that is struggling with mental health, any one of us that is struggling with life, any one of us that has got fear and doubt and worry and all the complicated way of life, lord, that you will set the captives free. Lord, we want a free mind tonight. We want a free mind. So come, holy Spirit, reveal yourself. Reveal yourself in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2:

But, lord, we believe that as we read the word, we're healed, as we read the word and as we look at the word, as we listen to the scripture, that there will be freedom in our spirit, freedom in our heart. Lord, fill this house of your glory, fill this house of your power, fill everybody's home, their lives, wherever they are capturing this service, whatever mechanism they're using. Father, let the glory fill them up today. Come, holy Spirit, refresh us in Jesus' name, amen, good evening and welcome. We are really blessed that you are with us this evening, wherever you are joining us across the world, and it's really really important that I mention everybody across the world.

Speaker 2:

It's great that we're in the Lord's house, but we've got to remind ourselves that we are in 71 countries and we're in 997 cities across the world. We've only got three cities to download all the stuff, and then we would have hit a thousand cities. That is absolutely crazy when you think about where we are, what we do, the environment around us, and I just want to encourage everyone that you never give up in your dream. You never give up. You never give up.

Speaker 2:

You hold on what God drops in your spirit, what God drops in your mind, at your workplace, in your life. Never give up. You hold on to what is in your spirit, what God drops in your mind, at your workplace, in your life. Never give up. You hold on to what is in your spirit. You hold on to what God has given you. You hold on to that and you press forward.

Speaker 2:

Even when there's no money coming in, even when fear is everywhere, even when nothing seems to happen, you keep walking by faith. God will show a way in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And we pray that wherever you are tonight in Jesus' name, whether you're in the Lord's house, whether you're online, whatever part of the world you're in, when I say, I pray that wherever you are with us in your walk with Christ, that you will come to the cross, that we will learn to come to the cross. And how do we get to the cross? We visualize a cross. We've got one to the left, one to the right, one behind me in the Lord's house here and we've got crosses dotted all around this church. What we do is we just look at the cross. That's all we can do is just look at the cross and just say, lord, I thank you for that cross. And Lord, at that cross there was bloodshed At that cross, there was hope At that cross. There was redemption At the cross. There was the glory At the cross, lord, you took me before I was even brought into existence, lord, you took us to the cross and you nailed every sin to the cross, lord, and we are free, because who the Son sets free is free indeed.

Speaker 2:

Let's turn to the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, verse 22, and it says there, immediately, jesus made his disciples get into the boat. We was in this this morning. We just dipped our toe in that, we just stretched our legs through this. But let's just see if the Lord and he will take us a little bit further. What I love about this scripture if you read on, read from verse 22,. Go all the way down, you know, down to verse 31, 32.

Speaker 2:

As you read that, pray that the Holy Spirit will open your heart up. I believe that we are living in such a time as this. We are living in a time of anxiety, we are living in a time of fear, we're living in a time of uncertainty, we're living in a time of panic, we're living in a time of the lack of money, every area of life, food, everything there is a lack of, but that is only coming from the world. What we've got to remind ourselves is that we cannot be afraid of the storms. And as you read that, as you follow that through, have a read, let your eyes just gently take yourself over that, have a read over that and say Lord, what part of this text tonight, lord, are you going to speak to me? Through? What part of your word, lord, are you going to open my heart up? Because there is power in the word of God? And wherever you are and when I say wherever you are, that's not necessarily I'm talking about geographically, I'm talking about with your walk with Jesus, wherever you are, god is calling you and the Holy Spirit is within you and the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost loves you unconditionally and you are changing from glory to glory, miracle to miracle, blessing to blessing the Father is with you.

Speaker 2:

So when we look at the word doubt and fear and them uncertain words, them words that add that bit of a bitter taste in our mouth. You know, some of us can go through quite a big season of our lives in fear. Many of us can go through a big season in our lives in doubt. Many of us can go through the season of life of uncertainty. That is okay if we don't allow them emotions to be stronger and higher than the faith. What we've got to do is we've got to walk by faith.

Speaker 2:

If you have a Bible, turn to Hebrews 11, verse 1. We're very familiar with Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. You know faith, now faith, faith is the evidence, faith is the glue. And what is faith? And the Bible says faith comes from hearing a message, and the message is heard through the word of God. So my faith will ignite, my faith will accelerate. My faith will grow through one thing, and one thing only. It's not by coming to church, it's not having a cup of tea or a coffee with me, it's not by talking to your brothers and your sisters. Yes, your faith might just jump a little. It might jump a little bit, but your faith will grow rapidly in one place, and one place only that is, in the word of God, because when we are in the word of God, we're in Jesus.

Speaker 2:

When we're in Jesus, jesus has to take the steering wheel of the life that we live. You know, steering wheel of the life that we live, you know, life is like driving down a motorway full throttle, at full stretch, and allowing Jesus to take the wheel. Lord, you're going to drive this car. Lord, your holy presence is with me. Take your hands off the steering wheel. It's the sort of thing that we would never do. It's not natural to do that. And walking by faith, it's not natural to do that because it's not a natural part of the body, because it comes every. Everything comes from above. The spiritual world, as we know, as we've looked and as we've examined the spiritual world was way before, way before this physical realm in which we live. We understand about dimensions, we under bounce, under understand about certain dimensions of the world and how all that works.

Speaker 2:

And wherever you are at this moment in time, I believe that this press that we are feeling, this unusual uncertainty, this unsteadiness maybe that's around the world, is the end time move of God, the Holy Spirit. God is moving. God is nurturing. God is needing, god is. God has got you on the pot as well. God is is separating from the wheat, from the chaff. Now that that is that is painful. God, when he, when he separates, when the farmer. You know everything's done by mechanics, everything's done mechanically now farming, but go back in before. The tractors and mechanics and all that, the mechanisms of life and farming was there, how the wheat would be separated.

Speaker 2:

But what's really interesting? When wheat and tare grow together, that's really important. When you look at that wheat and tare, at certain beginnings and at certain areas of growth, they look the same. They look the same and it's very difficult in a quick glimmer to see the difference. You know faith and fear they grow together, but sometimes it's very difficult in a quick glimmer to see the difference. You know faith and fear they grow together, but sometimes it's very difficult to identify and to see. You know the wheat and the tare. God is the gardener and he right now is what we are in this end time harvesting. It's like a combine harvester. You know God is going through the fields, god is moving. God is replenishing, god is healing, god is dealing. You know, miracles are around you. You are a miracle, you are a miracle, you are a miracle.

Speaker 2:

But we measure our lives by the size of the house and by the job and by the career and our CV. Even the world of church measures everything by pastor's cv. You know, I ain't even got a cv. There's not much on my cv. All you can write is he's always in trouble. That's what's always on my cv and like I'd never get a job anywhere, my cv is terrible. He's awful. What would it be? He's always in trouble. He's always on the run. He's talking about jesus.

Speaker 2:

But when you look at ministers, when you look at, at educators' CVs, you know, and you look how they're set out and everything is about, and I understand, I understand about climbing that career ladder. I get that. I fully understand that. I'm not against that. But is that before God or is that before anything else? You know, and we are living in a time that's very Darwinistic, it's stamping it for anything else you know, and we are living in a time that's very Darwinistic. It's stamping, it's treading on, treading over, trampling over. You look through governments, you look through politics, you look through the world, you look through certain areas. It's almost like a stampede and it's almost the survival of the fittest. That is in the world of Lucifer, that is in the Luciferian world. That is what the world does, but in the kingdom we live by faith.

Speaker 2:

And let's remind ourselves, brothers and sisters, we are watching the most furious storms ever to hit the shores of every nation, every land, every church. If you take the analogy of a storm that we watch outside, even last night here in the UK, in the area that we are in Kent, there was a bit of a storm going on. We're seeing storms that we've never seen before. We're seeing the temperatures rise, the temperatures drop. We're watching the wind. We're watching the darkness. Have you noticed how grey it seems to be most of the day? There is almost a grey blanket presence and your eyes are finding it difficult to comprehend what is happening around. I think what we are experiencing is the physical realm, is reflecting what is going on in the spiritual realm, but we've got to remind ourselves that we don't live. We do not live by what we call. We do not live by sight, we live by faith. We've got to understand that. We live by faith.

Speaker 2:

And wherever you are tonight, we can't rely on a church. We've got to rely on Jesus. We can't rely on religion. We've got to rely on Jesus. We can't rely on the statistics. We can't rely on pastors and leaders and deacons. Yes, they have their place. There's a certain area and there's a certain place for that.

Speaker 2:

But now is a time like we've never seen before, where we've got to get into Jesus Christ. We've got to get back to our roots. We've got to get back in the Word of God. The Word of God is yes and amen. The Bible says you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. If Jesus wanted the church to set you free, he would have said you will know the church and it will set you free. It is the truth. Jesus says I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through him, through me. So Jesus is the way. Let's get in the scripture. Let's get our eyes down. Let's get our holy eyes in the word of God. We're in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, verse 22. Immediately, jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him, and it's crossed to the other side While he dismissed the crowd. After he dismissed them, he went up to the mountainside by himself and prayed. When evening came, there were. They was alone and it says sorry that he was alone there, but the boat was already.

Speaker 2:

Verse 24. If we just take a moment, if you have a bible and there's many in the church and let's have a look at what it says and there's many online across the world tonight and we must say thank you again and again to the tens of thousands of downloads in the world of podcasts. You know, we thank God that we're able to stream and we've been streaming from lockdown. And as you look at verse 24, as I just make a quick comment, I thank everybody in those 71 countries that we are streaming to. I thank God for them 997 cities around the world and whoever you are tonight online listening to the podcast through the rodeo ministry that we do here, may God bless you and strengthen you wherever you are on the other side of the globe, and when we see the statistics come through, it's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 2:

So please, brothers and sisters, whatever God drops in your spirit, your mind, your body, don't give up in your vision. Don't give up. But it is the word, it is the scripture, scripture. But we are living in very, very interesting times, we can't rely. We cannot rely on the church, and you know what I mean by that. But the kingdom of God is different to what we see, to the mechanism of church. We rely on Jesus, we rely on the word, we trust in him. Hebrews 11 1,. I mentioned it a moment ago. You know faith. Faith is critical. We cannot go by sight If we live by our retina, if we live by our natural eyesight.

Speaker 2:

No wonder we got so much mental health issues across the world, and especially in life and within adults and children. If you just take the UK itself, I don't like to say it, but the suicide rate is rising. The mental health rate is rising. What is the reason for this? Firstly, it's spiritual. The church should have generations ago, prepared us for the end time. So what we have? We have a lot of mental health issues that are connected to the spiritual area of life. When you are walking with Christ, when you are in the word and you are in the freedom of God and you know your identity. In children and adults, we are experiencing an identity crisis. So what we have? We have mental health, we have identity crisis and also another big thing that's across this UK at this particular time.

Speaker 2:

We've never seen a lack of fathers. We've never seen a lack of fathers. There's men, but they're very woke, they're very weak, even in certain areas of church, because the masculinity has been tried to been taken out of a man. So we are lacking real men. Real men when you look at the disciples, they were real men. When you look at the disciples, they were real men. When you look at that, and it's not because of the way of the man, it has been been the way of of the world the government doesn't want a strong man. Churches in certain areas don't want a strong man. Because if you've got a strong man who's a bible believing, believer, that there is a, there is a powerful thing there. And when you get a woman and a man together, when you get and when you get a woman and a man together, when you get two, when you get a man and a woman that believe in the word of God and they are walking in scripture, that is power.

Speaker 2:

When you get a man or a woman walking in the weakness and the wokeness and we've got so much weak and wokeness in church itself we are, we are in a crisis. We are in a crisis. We are spiritually thin in crisis. We are spiritually thin in this nation, and what we have is a mirror image of what we have in this scripture, and it says very clearly verse 24,. But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. That is like the UK. We are sailing in the boat and it is a considerable distance from Jesus. Jesus was on the shoreline and the boat was a considerable distance away from Christ. I would put it like this this nation is a considerable distance from Jesus and there is trouble at the door of life.

Speaker 2:

We have a government that is anti-Christ. We have a government that is not looking for Jesus. We have schools that are not teaching our children the gospels of truth. We have denominations that are not preaching the gospel of Christ. There are great preachers out there. There are great churches out there. There are Bible-based, strong doctoring churches out there, but they are very few and far between and I believe, as we sit in this end time harvest, god is raising a generation of the remnant. We are in the end time.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ is coming. He's coming. He's not coming for the church. Now, now, now, now, I know, hold your horse. He's not coming for the religious church, he's coming for the bride. He's coming for the. He's not coming for the fabric of the healing buildings. He's not coming for the cathedrals. He's not coming for the AOG buildings. He's not coming for any building. He's not coming for bricks and mortar, he's coming up for the individuals known as the born again.

Speaker 2:

John 3.3,. We've got to get back to the basic, we've got to get back to the word. You must be born again. You must be born again. The greatest sermon that has ever been preached around the world was delivered in four minutes by Jesus Christ in a dark room between himself and another human being, and that is the greatest message that has turned the world upside down. You must be born again. Religion doesn't understand it, governments can't get it, but it's coming to the individual. You must be born again, john 3.3.

Speaker 2:

The greatest gift that we can give anyone this season that we're in is a Bible, the greatest gift you can give anyone and, as we've been saying here, we've got Bibles on every chair. We encourage people to take the Bible from the chair that you sit at and take it to work. Leave it on the commute, put it in your van, put it in your car, put it at your desk, take it to the HR office, take it to school, take it to college. Leave it on the commute, put it in your van, put it in your car, put it at your desk, take it to the HR office, take it to school, take it to college. Leave it on the commute, leave it on the train, leave it in the supermarkets, take it to where you go and just leave the Bible.

Speaker 2:

The greatest gift, the greatest gift the world has ever been given, is not materialism, it's not the latest flat screen TVs, it's not the gamings, it's not your house. The greatest, it's not cars, it's not materialism. The greatest gift the world has ever been given was the living word of God, and you will find that in the gospel of John, chapter one, verse 14. And you look at the screen and the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. It is Jesus Christ, the author and the perfecter of your faith. Hebrews 12, verse 2.

Speaker 2:

Turn now to Hebrews 12 2. Keep your eyes on Jesus. If Jesus wanted us to keep our eyes on church and religion, he would have changed and he would have put them snippets in there. But he says very clearly keep your eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12.2. Yes, we understand. Jesus Christ is the head of the church.

Speaker 2:

We get that. We get that that Jesus is not the Pope, it's not me, it's not any pastor, it's not any denomination. The denominations own the building, but they don't owe the brothers and sisters that are in the buildings. They might own the tables, the chairs, they might own the technology, they might own the fabric of the building, but they don't own you. You belong to God and you were brought in by the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and God is calling you to salvation. God is calling you to salvation. God is calling you to the word of God. God is calling you the denominations. All they own are the bricks and the fabric, but you are owned. You are grafted into the vine, you are grafted in and as you look at these scriptures that we're just breezing through tonight, you know you can capture all this audible that we do. And obviously we're not in a studio, we're in the main church tonight and the sound isn't radio quality. But if you want to listen back to everything that we do, we've stretched over a thousand podcasts Now you've only got to type in Reverend Vancouver. It comes up. The tech team have put it up online. You can listen to the services, the podcast going right back it's just at the stretch of lockdown. You can get high quality sound. As we push this across the world radio ministry, god is moving and we got to understand that God is not interested in the building.

Speaker 2:

This season, the cathedrals are lit up, churches are lit up with tinsel, with artificial trees. What we need in the church is this that's behind me the cross of Calvary, the cross of Calvary. But as I said before, this season it's very interesting what you see through our window of our home, many windows. As you move across the nation, as you move across the towns, you will see a display of a Christmas tree, a paganistic way, but where do you actually see a cross? When you look through someone's window taking the place across of calvary? The church has got to get to the cross. The church, the denominations, the leaders, every one of us. We've got to get to the cross because jesus christ is coming.

Speaker 2:

The rapture of the church can't be far away. We're listening to wars, rumors of wars. We're watching the weather system, the solar system. We're watching the jet streams above the heavenly realms change and do unusual things. We're seeing unusual things happening in the heavens at night. We're watching this crazy show being portrayed by government by what we have in number 10 Downing Street. The government want to take us away from the cross. The government want to take us away from the cross.

Speaker 2:

You've only got to look at a certain person in London. You've only got to look at the mayor of London and what he has done for Christmas. He hasn't really done anything but Ramadan. He has spent a fortune. So you've got to understand where we are heading and the church has got to get hold of the word of God. It's no good picking up the Christmas tree and giving a mulled wine for a few hours and giving a few carols out. We've got to give the word of God. It's got to be this book. It's got to be this book. The greatest gift the world has ever seen is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. But as you look and as you analyze and let's ask the Holy Spirit Lord, will you take me deeper into this scripture that we're in tonight? Will you take me deeper into the gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, verse 24? But the boat was already a considerable distance. We are in a serious position.

Speaker 2:

In the UK, the majority of church has got its pink garments on, lifting up a certain colour flag, more interested in save the planet rather than give a Bible out. If you are a Bible believing, spirit-filled, braggadocious brother and sister for Jesus, you take a Bible out. If you are a Bible-believing, spirit-filled, braggadocious brother and sister for Jesus, you take a Bible from this church tonight. If you don't have any money in your pocket and you want to give someone a Bible, you send messages in and we will give you Bibles, because that is what we're about. We give the message of God out through paperback version.

Speaker 2:

It's no good coming to church with our phones and our devices and having the Bible app on the phone. That is a distractive device that the devil uses Emails, whatsapp, text, social network alerts. What we need is a paperback version. That we sit down, we turn our phone over, we leave it on the chair and we open up the paperback version. That we sit down, we turn our phone over, we leave it on the chair and we open up the paperback version of the word of God because there is no distraction. It will draw you in. But when you've got the app on your phone text emails, this, the shopping list. Ocado's delivering an hour and a half. You've got to get home because the Christmas shopping's on its way. You know emails from work, texts from the children, this from your friend. That all coming in the devil's instrument. What is the instrument that the devil uses the most this day and age? It's the phone. So much you can get from the device. But, yes, it's a good instrument if it's used correctly. But let's get back to the paperback version. So when you're in this scripture that we're in verse 24,.

Speaker 2:

But the boat was already a considerable distance from the land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. Government is against the body of Christ. Government is not worried about religion because government owns religion. It's all molded in, it's in the fabric of itself. Religion, the monarchy, politics, it is all woven together. But you can't have any of that in the kingdom of God and you belong to the kingdom of God. But we are being buffeted like never before.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says that a storm came down at one particular point called the Northeaster. The sun was out. It came down the valley and it stripped out and it shot across the lake and it brought waves and it brought turbulence and it brought uncertainty. That is why we have so much mental health, why we have so many labels and we do not have enough practitioners that are able to keep up with the volume of counseling, to keep up with the volume of pressure.

Speaker 2:

If the church, if the church would preach the gospel without error, if the church would preach the gospel without error, doctrine, word after word after word, because the body has to come in line with the spiritual realm, and if you are in the scripture, yes, we might have a bad hair day, we might have a bit of trouble, but when you know the word, greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Lord, my mind is playing Haywoods with me tonight. Lord, father, I thank you that, even though the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He leads me in paths of righteousness, even though I go through the valley of verse 4. Even though I go through the valley of the shadow of death, psalm 23. Take that the Lord is my shepherd, he leads me, he guides me. My God, it's not down to my mind.

Speaker 2:

We live our lives by our mind, and when we live our lives by our mind, by the carnal way of living. We overthink, we over-engineer and then suddenly mental health, anxiety and fear. And we're trying to roadmap our lives and we're trying to work things out, we're trying to articulate, we're trying the busyness, the super highway of the thinking. Our minds are at full stretch. We can't cope with no more.

Speaker 2:

It's coming to the cross time. It's coming to the cross. It means come to the cross. Will you come to the cross with me? What do you mean me? What do you mean? What do you mean Ben, when you say come to the cross? Just look at the cross in the church, look at it on the visuals, find yourself across. Just look at the cross, take your eyes of the Christmas tree, take your eyes of a tinsel Christianity and look at the cross of Calvary.

Speaker 2:

Because when you realize what happened at the cross, that that destinational point that Christ had to go to we said this the other day when we was in sermon time, when we was in the time of podcasting those four destinational points of scripture where Christ, those main points that he hit, and every point that he hit, the world knew about it, but we're not familiar with his walk in certain parts of his day. But what the world is familiar with is. The first destination was the crib. The world knows that Jesus came in. Even the atheists talk about it. Even world religions talk about it. The whole world is talking about Jesus. Don't get caught up in social hype and social bullying and don't get caught in the social networks of where all the other world religions are leading the way.

Speaker 2:

If you look at Iran right now, in the era of the persecuted church, the Christian church, the church of Jesus Christ is rising in Iran that has a Muslim government that is fierce and is against Jesus Christ, which is against Israel. That nation that sent the drones and the missiles not that long ago is seeing a revival, is seeing the power of the Holy Spirit right in the midst of trouble. Spirit right in the midst of trouble. Don't be fooled by every social media platform that every other world religion is overtaking. It isn't and it can never overtake, because Jesus Christ is the creator of the world and he is the great I am. He is worthy of all praise. If you are a Christian is worthy of all praise. If you are a Christian, if you are a Bible-believing, spirit-filled John 3.3, you will recognize that your life is being buffeted like never before, not in a way that we've experienced, because we are in the end time hours.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ is coming back, not for religion. He's not coming back for all these buildings that we worship in. He's not coming back for the screens. He's not coming back for that amazing radio studio that we have behind us. He's not coming back for the chairs. He's not coming back for every church that Elim owns. He's not coming back for all the churches that are owned by every denomination. He's not coming back for the building. He's coming back to bring judgment and he's coming back to take the Bible believer. He's coming back to take the John 3, 3. You must be born again.

Speaker 2:

That is the message that every church should be giving now, not the hype and the radicalization of revival, because we will not see revival. We will not see revival in this land. We will see persecution, and persecution has already taken place, but through persecution. What happens in persecution? Once persecution comes, it revives the individual, not as a large tent movement, not as a large racking out the O2 and bringing someone in from Australia and bringing out a famous puppet for a few hours. What happens is God revives the individual. When they're what, when they're in trouble, the more trouble life is, the more that you're being taken through the refiner's fire. When you go through the refiner's fire, what you're going to do, you're going to come out as pure gold. All the dross, everything's going to off. So you could, you could use that word gently, you could use the word revival. But it's an individual move. It is not a blanket move. It is not just for one denomination, it is not for the children's ministry, it is not for this, it is not for that, it is for the individual. And when you find that God moves on, the individual and the individual has a reviving moment, that's when true revival starts. It starts with one, one person.

Speaker 2:

When you look at Jesus Christ, the message, the greatest preacher the world has ever seen, he didn't have a TikTok account, he didn't have cameras, he didn't have a studio, he didn't have a TikTok account, he didn't have cameras, he didn't have a studio, he didn't own a building. He preached the message and people went to him. How can that be? He had no cameras, there was no Wi-Fi, there was no electric, there was no means of preaching and getting the message around the globe. But that message, that four minute window with Nicodemus, in that darkened room at night when the great lawgiver, when Jesus, said to Nicodemus, you are Israel's teacher and you don't have a clue, he said you must be born again. The conversation, the greatest sermon that was ever delivered, was in that space. It wasn't delivered by a great preacher that is across the world, that is jet setting from town to town. Jesus never owned an aircraft. He didn't own an helicopter. He didn't own a house, as we understand that. Everything he had was borrowed. He didn't own anything as we see materialistically at this moment.

Speaker 2:

But we've got celebrity status preachers living a life that is completely unbiblical, according to financial gain, living completely outside. We have what we have very, very clearly in the celebrity world of preaching. What do we have? We have wolves in sheep's clothing Because it's all about revenue. It's all about revenue. It's all about revenue. It's all about revenue. It's all about money. Yes, I know what it's like to try and keep the functionality of everything running, but that's where faith comes in. But we have celebrity preachers on extortionate money. We have pastors on extortionate money. Jesus never got paid for one sermon.

Speaker 2:

Where in the scripture do you find Jesus actually charging for a message? Where did he say subscribe to my YouTube channel, subscribe to our TikTok account. Where did he say jump onto Spotify, click the link, give us a few quid each month. You won't find anywhere. But the greatest message has changed the world. And he didn't have a social media account, it was just him, jesus, the saviour of the world, eyeball to eyeball to Nicodemus. And that message got out of that room. And that message has crisscrossed the globe for year in, year out. That message is saving people, setting people free with no power, as we understand from the world of technology.

Speaker 2:

Governments don't want to know Jesus. World religions are trying to disprove him. Atheists can't stand talking about him. Certain areas of science and quantum physics reject him. He has been rejected.

Speaker 2:

That great, great story, that biblical fact when Mary and Joseph was looking for a place to be sheltered and the innkeeper came to the door. That famous line that the world uses today no room at the inn. And he slammed the door. That's what the world does to Jesus. So Jesus has hit the three destinational points. He has come to this world in a crib that is finished. He went from the crib, then he went to the cross. The cross took one visit and one visit, only One sacrifice, once and for all. He is not going to keep going back to the cross. We look at the cross to remind ourselves what he done at the cross. I do not lift up and worship the cross, but what the cross does it makes me focus on that.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ went from the first destination that he was put in to the crib, to the cross. Then he hit the third destinational point. When you think about it, what he was laid in, what his mum laid him in, it wasn't his, it was borrowed. When he went to the cross it wasn't his cross but it was his seed. Give me a minute, it was his seed that he sowed into that ground. Jesus knew God, knew the Holy Spirit, knew that when Christ went to that cross, when he went to the cross of Calvary, they knew the carpenters that would cut that tree. They knew exactly where that tree was going to spring from as a young seedling. They knew that when that seed hit that ground after X amount of years, the foresters, the carpenters, would go to that, cut that down and make a cross. So he's hit the crib. That wasn't his. He hit the cross. That was his but it wasn't his.

Speaker 2:

And then we understand through through scripture. We understand through scripture. When you, when you look at the scripture, the third destinational point we know was the grave. It was a borrowed tomb One, two, three, but the fourth one is where he's seated right now. He's seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for all the saints, not the fabric of the construction of religion and the building, but he's interceding for you. He knows your pain, he knows the place that you are at right now in this scripture.

Speaker 2:

But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, buffeted Because the wind was against it. We have everything against us, was against it. We have everything against us if you are John 3. If you're religion, you're flowing down with the wind. You're flowing down with the wind. But if you are a Christian, you're like the salmon. That salmon has got to get a home. That's salmon that's got to get a home.

Speaker 2:

You're like the prodigal that has spent too long with swine eating with pigs. You don't look like a pig. You're not as hairy as a pig. You ain't got a snout like a pig. You don't walk on four legs, but there are many that have tried to eat out of the trough of life. Pigs can't stand up.

Speaker 2:

But the prodigal son he stood up and the Bible says that he came to his senses. So he stood up in the field of pigs and he came to his senses. And what did he say? I've got to get back to my father's house. Is there anybody online in the Lord's house that is brave enough to say I've got to get back to my father's house? Is there anybody online in the Lord's house that is brave enough to say I've got to get back to the father's house? I've got to get back to the word, I've got to get back to the scripture. I can't lay with swine and pigs in religion anymore. I can't hang around the trough because this field stinks and I've got to get back to my father's house. And that great biblical fact story that the father ran to the son. The father was moving to the son before the son come to his senses. The father is the rescuer and the father is rescuing people now that have made an about turn, a wrong decision, and found that they have woken up in a situation that is a pigsty of life. And suddenly they've stood up and God, what am I doing here? God, I am not a pig. I am a Bible, believing spirit filled, blessed and highly favoured brother or sister in Christ. And I've got to get out of this field and I've got to get back to the father's house.

Speaker 2:

Religion is like the analogy of the field of pigs it's overwhelming itself, it doesn't know when to stop eating. It's gluttony. It's fine art. It's dripping with rich cash. It has cathedrals. It is wrong. But when you realize who you are and the chains of religion break, the chains of adversity break, the fear breaks, when you start to realize, even though I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil because you are with me, you're rod and your staff. They comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, lord. You prepare this table for me, for my enemies. Lord, you prepare this table for me. Lord, I'm not dining with pigs anymore. I'm sitting at a banquet table in the valley of trouble. If you're in a valley of trouble, ask God tonight to say make me a banquet table because, lord, I'm tired and in the battlefield of life I need replenishing. Lord, I need an outpouring of your spirit. I'm tired in the battlefield of Christmas. I'm tired in the battlefield of Christmas. I'm tired in the battlefield of the food bank situation. I'm tired in the battlefield of the mental health. I'm tired in church. I'm tired. I've lost my identity and I need to be restored.

Speaker 2:

We are in the gospel of Matthew 14, 24. And the church as we understand it through religion is a considerable distance from Jesus. And there's a storm Now. Remember that. These men that was on this vessel, what was they? Fishermen, they spent their life on this lake, but there was something different about this storm. They'd seen many storms and they just got on with it. This is where we are today. We have never seen storms like this before. Why? Because they're spiritual storms, storms like this before. Why? Because they're spiritual storms and the fisherman wasn't able to cope with the storm that was buffeting the boat and we are not capable of dealing with the storms that are at the front door of our houses, our lives, our workspace, in every. We are not capable of coping because it is a spiritual storm.

Speaker 2:

It's like what David, when he was out in the field of life the bear and the lion he had to fight them in the dead of night. Many people now are fighting the bear of anxiety. Many people are fighting the lion of uncertainty. Many people are fighting the bear of no money, that are wrestling in the dead of night. Many people are not sleeping because of anxiety wakes them in the night and they're wrestling with themselves. It's time to give it to Jesus. We're coming to the table in just a few moments. David was shaped not in the tent, with Jess and the great prophet when he was anointed. David was shaped in the field. God shapes you and me in the field of life, through the wrestles, through the bear, through the lion, through the storm of life. God is shaping us and he loves you. But we so often say, god, I don't want this storm, I don't want this bear, I don't want this lion. It's ferocious.

Speaker 2:

Many of us are looking at Goliath and as we look at Goliath it looks like an impossible battle because we're looking with eyes of King Saul. King Saul looked at natural eyes. King Saul was a very unusual king. He was chosen by the people. So when it come to the fierceness of battle, it was a different story to the fierceness of battle. It was a different story. So what we find with King Saul and what we find with Goliath that Saul and the Israelite army was not fit for purpose.

Speaker 2:

Can I be bold enough to say that there are certain leaders in pulpits, in church and in the mechanisms of religion are like King Saul Chosen by the people, put in place by the people, and now we've got Goliath. They're running to the cave to hide. They're not fit for purpose. So we have a crisis within the church not in the kingdom of God, but in the church and we have leaders that are not dressed and not fit for purpose. They look like shepherds, but they're hired hands. They look like pastors, but they're hired hands. They look like preachers, but they're hired hands. They look like Saul, and Saul was not able to face Goliath. Should I tell you why? Why wasn't Saul able to face this Goliath? Because who put him in position? We understand through the word of God that God went I'll give you him if you want him. So Saul was put in position by who? By people. So when you got leaders across the platform of life been put in place by people, when there's a spiritual crisis at the door, they're not fit for purpose. So when you look at religion and the church, it's been chosen by certain people, they've been voted in by a certain way.

Speaker 2:

But when you look at King David. When you look at shepherd boy David, where was he anointed? He was anointed outside of the eyesight of every human being apart from his brothers, his dad and that great prophet. He was anointed but he was called. David wasn't going looking for a fight in Goliath's face. He was on the sandwich run. He had the skinny lattes. He the costa coffees in his bag. He was going up with frappuccinos. He was going to deliver food to his brothers. He was not looking for a fight and we know the rest of the text. So the issue that we have, the issue we have is too many pulpits are filled with King Saul's that have been chosen by people and now we're in a spiritual crisis. It's not fit for purpose. There was only one that was able to defeat Goliath and that was David. Why was David so much in that position? Because he was anointed and called and he was chosen only by God. Because his brothers didn't want him, his family didn't want him, the world didn't want him, but God wanted him and when God put him on that run up to take the sandwiches and to check on his brothers on the battle line.

Speaker 2:

We know that David did not go down to the battle line in what Saul tried to dress him in. He went down in something completely different. He went down in the storm of adversity. He went down in the fear position. He went down in the storm of adversity. He went down in the fear position. He went down in the arena and he said you come at me, goliath, with sword, spear and javelin, but I carry something that you know nothing about. I've got something within me that you have no understanding of. I've got something that I'm carrying that you don't know nothing about, goliath, and that is a name.

Speaker 2:

When you realize you can go down the battlefield with no armory and you go down to the face of adversity in the name of God, in the name of the Lord, when you go down in the name of Jesus Christ, go down to the battlefield and you speak word and truth, when you speak the word of God, when you call the things that are not as though they are. He said today, goliath, you're coming down and he picked up one stone. He picked up. We know he picked up the five, but it just took one. Why was it only one? Was it good? Was it because he was a great shot with the sling? I beg to differ Because he went down in the name of the Lord. God guided the stone. God will take the stone. God will take the word and hit the right point.

Speaker 2:

What you've got to be ready is you've got to know how to sling it. We're getting down and dirty now in the last part of the text. You've got to know how to sling it in the name of Jesus. You've got to get the word of God. You've got to put it in the sling known as your mouth and you've got to sling it out in the name of Jesus. You've got to get down and you've got to get radical and you've got to tell every warlock, every devil, every witch, every demonic force you're going down in the name of Jesus, because I'm going to put that word and it's coming out of the sling of my lips, and in the name of Jesus Christ. And when I put the word to flight, what has he got to do? I step back. He opens up Psalm 91, psalm 91, verse 11. He has put angels to flight to guard you in all your life.

Speaker 2:

See, when you sling the word of God out, forgive me, jesus, for saying like that, but when you sling that out of your lips and out of your heart what happens. God's word cannot return void. The word has to accomplish everything that it is set out to do. But if religion isn't setting the word out, the word will not return because it's not out to do. But if religion isn't setting the word out, the word will not return because it's not being set out. We're coming to the table. Let's come to the table.

Speaker 2:

So, wherever you are, use the sling that you've been given your lips. Use the sling and you throw that word out. You throw the word out, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. You sling that word out across your life. You sling that word out across the airways. You sling the word of God out and God has got to move. God has got to drop down into your pathway, so to speak, and God has got to bring that word into completion. When you realize who you are, that you're a David in the battlefield and all you've got a sling known as your mouth, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Speaker 2:

When you put the word out, oh my God, demons flee. When you put the word out, sickness bows. When you put the word out, demonic forces bow. When you put the word out the enemy comes at you. When you put the word out demonic forces bow when you put the word out the enemy comes at you. When you put the word out demons have to run at the name of Jesus. When you put the word out cancer bows. When you put the word out mental health has to bow when you put the word out Lucifer runs at the name of Jesus Christ. Use the sling that you've been given. Use the sling that you've been given, father.

Speaker 2:

We come to the table right now in the name of Jesus, lord, and we release the word, release the word over your life tonight. Put your hand on your chest and pray for yourself. If you're with me in the Lord's house and we are. If you're online with me, scattered across the world you're listening through radio tonight, wherever you are. If you're listening through podcasts, whatever you're online with me, scattered across the world, you're listening through radio tonight. Wherever you are. If you're listening through podcasts, whatever you're doing through visuals, put your hand on your chest and say Lord, your word has healed me. In the name of Jesus, lord, your word has saved me. In the name of Jesus, come to the cross tonight with us. Come and receive the glory of God. God is calling you to salvation. God is calling you to the cross of Calvary. God is calling you to salvation. God is calling you to the cross of Calvary. God is calling you to the blood of Jesus Christ. He loves you. You are redeemed. You are a child of the living God. You are redeemed. I am redeemed.

Speaker 2:

We don't belong to Elim, we belong to God. We don't belong to religion. We belong to Jesus Christ. We don't belong to the fabric of the world, we belong to the Holy Spirit. You have a name and God loves your name. God named you. He brought you in before the beginning of the world. He brought you in before the foundation of the world. He says I knew you. I knew every one of you in the house. I knew every one of you online tonight. I brought you in. I knew every one of you online tonight. I brought you in. You're the reason that I brought the heaven and the earth into being, because it's my goodwill and it's my pleasure and I love you.

Speaker 2:

You're not here by an accident. You're not here because of your mother and your father biological process. You're not here because of certain reasons under the sun. You're here because God loves you and God has brought you in and God is breathing in your lungs and God is your redeemer and God is your sovereign and God is your savior and the king is alive and Jesus Christ is coming back for the bride of Christ, not for religion, not for the church as we know it. He's coming back for the broken. He's coming back for the lost. He's coming back for the lost. He's coming back for the one that can't stop gambling. He's coming back for those that are caught on drink, gambling, pornography. He's coming back for those that are lost and he loves the lost. He loves the lost.

Speaker 2:

And so often we still get lost. So often we're on the vessel of the boat and we are a considerable distance from Jesus. But the vessel did not go to the shoreline. The king went to the vessel. If you are in a storm tonight, you better rub your eyes because Jesus is walking towards you. If you're in a storm tonight, you better look at that screen because that king is walking to get you and you will not drown under adversity, you will not die in a situation you're in, the enemy that keeps prowling around, keeps trying to dig you down, the enemy that keeps telling you you're not going to make it, the world that keeps telling you you're never going to be any good. Jesus Christ is walking and Jesus Christ is coming to get the lost.

Speaker 2:

Even Bible believing believers get lost. We still get lost. We still become prodigals. We still want the blessing from the Father and we run at full stretch and we spend the blessing and we wake up in a field of pigs and the money is gone. The notoriety is gone, the social media accounts are no more and suddenly we rise in the pigsty. The notoriety has gone, the social media accounts are no more and suddenly we rise in the pigsty and we go. I'm out of here in the name of Jesus. I've come to my senses.

Speaker 2:

But again, the father was already running to the son. Jesus was already walking to the disciples that were in trouble on the storm. He's coming to get you. He knows you in trouble on the storm. He's coming to get you. He knows you're out on the lake. He knows the financial storm. He knows the relationship storm. He knows the child storm. He knows the work storm. He knows the ministry storm. He knows your mental health storm. He knows every storm. He knows your mental health storm. He knows every storm. I love the fact that Jesus knows everything about every weather condition under the sun, because it's only doing what God commands it to do. So when Jesus pushed the boat out, he knew that the storm would come. He knows that that storm is coming. He knows we're going to finish because we're unpacking another dive into the word.

Speaker 2:

We're at the table. Come on, let's get to the table, father. We come to the table and we're not coming to Holy Communion. We're coming to the Passover, the Passover of the angel of destruction. We're coming to the Passover of death itself. And God said I will pass over if I see the blood. You're covered in the blood, you're washed in the crimson tide and God is passing over and your name is stamped in the Lamb's Book of Life. Father, we thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. And as we break bread together now, father, right now, in the face of adversity, we break bread. In the face of mental health, of anxiety, of lots of disorders, of fears, of doubts. We break bread. In the struggle of disorders, of fears, of doubts. We break bread. In the struggle of money, the struggle of Christmas. We break bread, but bless this bread that is symbolic to the body of Christ In.

Speaker 1:

Jesus' name amen.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says in the same way. After supper he took the cup and when he had given thanks, he broke the bread and he took the cup and he dipped the bread in and it became salt and he said this cup is a new covenant. Jesus is a new covenant. He's a new testament. He's the old testament. He's a bright morning star. He's the star that shone in the heavens. He's the light that led the shepherd and the wise men. He is in everything. He is the king. He is everything. He in everything. He is the king. He is everything. He created everything.

Speaker 2:

You've only got to look at Colossians, chapter 1, verse 15 through to 20, and it will give you everything. He's in the fabric of the chairs that you're sitting on tonight. He's in the fabric of the steering wheel of the vehicle that you're driving listening to this podcast. He's in every fiber. He's in the fabric of the steering wheel of the vehicle that you're driving listening to this podcast. He's in every fiber. He's in every situation.

Speaker 2:

As that great psalmist writes if I was to climb and to soar to the highest heavens, you'll be there. If I was to go to the east, the west, the north, the south, you'll be there. If I was to drop to the depths of hell, you'll be there. There's no escape in the presence. And God is like can I use it like this? He's like fluid, he's in everything. It flows in, it flows out, it's seamlessly. He's the tapestry of the Old Testament and the New. The Old and the New, the tapestry. It's woven together, it's blended together. You can't separate it. You've got father, son, holy spirit in every word, every syllable, every word that has been written, every word that has been documented. It's God, it's Jesus, it's holy spirit, it's the living word. Father, as we take this cup, cleanse us from the crown of this noggin to the sole of my feet, from this head that is a little bit crazy some days to the sole of my feet. Wash me in the crimson tide of the blood of Jesus. Thank you, jesus, amen thank you Jesus.

Speaker 2:

And there are storms and there should be storms. The storms make us jump out of the safe place. A storm will take you to a place that you never thought you'd get to. If that storm never came along, peter would have never jumped out the boat. If certain storms don't come to me and don't come to you, we would never jump in faith.

Speaker 2:

Storms come in so that we would jump and take a leap of faith, because Jesus says I know that storm, I'm very aware of that storm, but what I want you to do in that storm is not let the storm take you out, but I want you to walk above the storm. I want you to soar on wings as of eagles. I want you to soar higher than the thermal value line of this world. The eagle flies higher than any other bird in the world. It soars on the thermal value. It soars, it gets higher and higher off of the heat, off of the thermal value that is radiated off the earth. The higher the heat in temperature, the higher the eagle soars. It's the same with the bible believing believer, the hotter, the flames, meshach, shamrach and Abednego. The flames ain't going to take you out, but the flames are going to reveal someone in the flame. The storm is not going to take you out, but it's going to make you jump out of the vessel. What the storm is attacking and you believe I'm walking to Jesus.

Speaker 2:

God bless every one of you. Father, we thank you for this evening. And, lord, as we go back to life, as we go back, as we click offline, as we, father, come to the end of another podcast, another sermon, another evening in the Lord's house, father, we thank you that miracles abound. Bless us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet, stir us, lead us, guide us, take us, lord, into storms, make us aware of storms, but, lord, don't let us be fearful of storms. Let us look at the storm, jesus, and go. I'm walking out of this because my Jesus is coming for me and I'm going to meet him on the road of adversity. God bless every one of you in Jesus' name. We will see you soon. Take care. God bless every one of you in Jesus' name. We will see you soon. Take care. God bless, never give up. God is with you, amen.
