Transcending Time Zones: A Global Communion of Faith, Prayer, and Love (#903 Elim)
What happens when we unite across continents to find solace and strength in shared faith? Join us in a global communion and prayer session, where we aim to transcend time zones and the noise of the commercial Christmas season to focus on the enduring power of faith. This episode promises an exploration of Proverbs 3:1, reflecting on the promise of prosperity and longevity that comes from keeping God's teachings close to our hearts. Together, we'll seek divine intervention for those grappling with doubts, illness, and anxiety, drawing peace and joy from the living Word and the assurance of God's protection as promised in Psalm 91.
Prepare to be inspired as we navigate the complexities of modern life, addressing spiritual challenges, financial worries, and the state of the UK monarchy and political agendas. We emphasize the transformative power of love and prayer, encouraging listeners to don the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6. Personal stories of being saved through the prayers of others highlight the importance of forming a "little church" in our minds, where we can intercede for our loved ones and find spiritual fortitude amidst life's trials.
As we gather for a symbolic communion, we reflect on the significance of community support and the enduring nature of faith, likened to a flickering candle that persists through the darkest times. We'll share a poignant Christmas story about an elderly priest who beautifully illustrates the fluctuations of faith. In this sacred moment, we invite you to release burdens and sins, embracing the cleansing and encouragement that faith provides. Celebrate with us the depth of Jesus' commitment, as symbolized by the breaking of bread and sharing of the cup, and express gratitude for the profound love and sacrifice that unite us all in faith.

Thank you so good evening everybody.
Speaker 2:Thank you so much. Good evening, good morning, good afternoon. Whatever the time is, wherever you are this evening, it is 12 o'clock here within the UK, two minutes past 12 midnight, the midnight hour. We thank you so much for joining us, wherever you are across this globe at this moment in time. Good morning, yes, good morning. Our brothers and sisters, as we gather around the word, as we just rest in his presence, as we just be still and know that he's god, we thank you so much for everyone that's joined us through three services today, three online services we've had today. We started off in coffee and prayer, then we went to the bible study later on this evening and now we have the midnight hour. And good morning to all those that are wide awake, bright eyed and bushy town. Either you're full of energy or you're full of fear. Whatever it may be. Why are we not sleeping? What is up with every one of us? May god bless you, and we thank you so much to everybody in the world of spotify and iRadio and Buzzsprout and so many other podcasting platforms. We have got literally thousands of downloads across the world and for anyone that is jumping online tonight maybe in Australia because their time is completely different to our time at this moment and we just want to welcome everybody myself and Donnie and everybody online, the church family. We thank you so much to the church family that is online. It is really critical that we keep pressing the word of God out online and we keep sharing, we keep talking and we just keep going in.
Speaker 2:Right the midnight hour we're going to break bread together. We've got communion. If you've got communion, if you're going to keep awake with us, thank you Hallelujah. If you're going to have a little uh doze, god bless you and may god strengthen you in the mighty name of jesus christ. But we're going to break bread in about 45 minutes time and I just want to invite you just to join us in prayer at this moment in time.
Speaker 2:You know the uk is in is in a very unusual place. The uk, spiritually, is dry. It is very thin. The churches are falling away. All types of things are happening within the UK, but it's nothing for us to be worried about, nothing for us to be fearful of, because God is leading and God is guiding and we are seeing a great falling away in many areas of life and things that are happening. But we just want to encourage you tonight to never, ever, ever, give up. There is always a way forward with christ.
Speaker 2:You know psalm 91. He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all their ways so that you will not strike your foot against the stone. God will make a way where there seems to be concrete walls and where the enemy just keeps to be closing one door after another. God will make a way where it seems to be impossible. And then I say to myself okay, rev, if this is fact, if this is biblical fact, how do I deal with it within myself? Well, if I can take us to Proverbs, chapter 3. Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1. If we can just have a look at this scripture, this is a very interesting scripture because it is direct and it goes straight to the Spirit. It speaks directly to each and every one of us. And in the book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1, it says my son, do not forget my teachings.
Speaker 3:That is the key.
Speaker 2:Remember the word of God, teachings. That is the key. Remember the word of god when trouble is brewing and the wave of life is coming to the front door and everything is pushing and pressing against you. Remember the word of god. Remember what god said to joshua. He said do not let this book of the lord depart from thy mouth. Meditate on it day and night, then you will be. Then you will be. So, lord. What have I got to do to keep Lord the wolf from the door? What have I got to do to keep the fear out my head? What have I got to do, lord, to keep this trouble in the workplace down? What have I got to do, lord, with the wayward situations that are happening around me? Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1, very personal. He says my son, do not forget my teachings, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life by many years and bring you prosperity. What a powerful piece of scripture. It is the word. It will always be the word. It is nothing but the word. It is the living word of God.
Speaker 2:So let's get into some prayer. Let's just see how the Lord leads every one of you and us two in this studio. So thank you to all those and just jumping online, I see this very unusual hour here within the UK. But those on the other side of the globe we say good morning, good afternoon, whatever your time zone is, wherever you are. But our friend Stuart has just put some scripture up. He's just put the reference up. That is great. So if we could encourage any one of you when you hear the scripture references any time that may be coming across, if you could just flick that up on there, that would be really, really good for people to see the references, just as our good brother Stuart has done there. So let's just get in prayer.
Speaker 2:Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the word of God. Your word is sharper than a double-edged sword. And, lord, as we come before you right now, we thank you that your word is yes and amen. And, lord, for all those that don't feel very well tonight, we pray, lord, for miracles through the living word of god. We believe in healing. We believe in the power of the living god, we thank you that your word is sharper than a double-edged sword. And right now, lord. In the beginning was your word and, father, we thank you that your word is in the beginning and anyone that is suffering with mental health at this hour. We pray, father, that they will find peace. Lord, in disturbance, we pray, lord, that they will find peace as their mind is just racing away. We pray for those that are struggling with sleep deprivation. We pray that you will touch their hearts and their minds, lord. We pray that their minds will calm down, that they won't over-engineer their thinking and over-engineering their lives and their thought pattern and everything that goes along with that.
Speaker 2:Father, we pray that the Word of God. We thank you that that Word is our strength, that the Word of God is our refuge. The Word of God is our go-to, the Word of God is our fortress, the Word of God is our rock. So, lord, tonight I pray that the church within the UK I just ask you, lord, tonight, that the church within the UK really stands on the living word of God and we will not just stand on it, lord, but, father, we will walk and we will trust and we will live by faith.
Speaker 2:Lord, I pray for myself tonight, lord and Don and anyone else that is joining us through these network connections. I just pray for every one of us, lord, that we walk by biblical truth, lord, in every area of our lives, lord, where we feel worried about, where we feel fearful of, where we feel doubtful of. Every area of our life, lord, that we're struggling with, we pray, lord, that the scripture will come to us. Lord, that we will feel the word of God stirring our hearts through worry, through fear, through doubt. Lord, and also we thank you for the joyous moments. We thank you for the joy of the Lord is our strength. So, lord, all those that feel joy tonight, all those that feel very blessed tonight, we thank you, lord, that your word is leading them to blessings and new beginnings and new days.
Speaker 2:But, lord, anyone that is struggling tonight, lord, with just doubts and worries, at this commercial Christmas time, lord, as the drum of the finances, lord is beating.
Speaker 2:Lord, as worry is setting in, lord, regarding everything that goes along with Christmas, we just pray, lord, that you will touch hearts.
Speaker 2:Lord, god and Heavenly Father, that you will move in the mighty name of Jesus, that there will be freedom in the living word. So tonight, lord, we hold on to Proverbs 3, verse 1. My son, do not forget my teachings. Lord, I pray for verse 1 of Proverbs 3. Lord, that we will not forget your teachings, father, I thank you that you address us as sons and daughters. I thank you that you address us, father, god, and you speak to us as your children, because we are your children. And tonight, lord, whoever is feeling unwell, whoever is feeling disturbed, whoever is feeling quite sick in their stomach for one reason or another, anyone that has got, uh, anxious thoughts tonight, anyone that is just not able to sleep tonight, anyone that is just struggling with life, we pray, lord, that the word of god will come alive in their spirit tonight, that the word of god will be like that fire tonight, that there will be fire in their belly, lord, that the word will just be ignited in their innermost being.
Speaker 2:And, lord, we thank you, Lord, that we will not forget your teachings. And, lord, also, the scripture says in Proverbs 3, the second part of that text but keep my commands in your heart, lord. I pray that they won't be just resting in our brain, that they won't be there as memory, lord, but they will be pressed on the tablet of our hearts. A father, tonight we pray that the word of god will be pressed on the tablet of our heart. Father, we thank you that the living word is sharper than a double-edged sword. We thank you that your word cuts through marrow. We thank you, lord, that your word is so sharp. Lord, it tears down, it breaks down. Lord, we thank you that the enemy cannot stand against the living word of God. We thank you that Jerichos fall at the name of Jesus. We thank you, goliaths fall at the name of Jesus. We thank you, lord, that idols come down at the name of Jesus. And, father, there is power in the name of Jesus, you are the living word and you are everything. And tonight, lord, we ask you, right now, as the scripture says in Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 2, that your word tells us, lord, that you will prolong our life by many years. Your word is speaking to us tonight, Lord, through sickness, through pain, through worries, through fears, that your word will prolong our life by many years and bring you prosperity, health, strength, well-being, peace and joy. Lord, this is your word. This is your word speaking to each and every one of us tonight. And, lord, we need the word of God, we rely on the word of God, we need your presence, we need your love, we need your love, we need your strength and, lord. Also, we thank you for Psalm 91. He will command his angels. Concerning you, father, we claim the Word, we stand on the living Word and we rest in the living Word and we believe your Word is yes and amen. We thank you that your Word is like honey on our lips. And, lord, as we're in prayer together, as we stand together, we walk together for those on the other side of the globe. This morning, father, strengthen them in their workspace, bless them in their universities, bless them in their relationships. Come Holy Spirit, lord. We need the Messiah, we need the king to take up your throne in this nation, father, we have Lord, a very earthly King, but, lord, we need the Saviour, we need the King above all kings.
Speaker 2:We pray for the monarchy here within the UK and, lord, we ask you that you will strengthen them and bless them and bring them to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we pray that the monarchy comes to the cross. We pray that political agendas come to the cross. We pray that the religious order in the UK comes to the cross. We pray, father, that we all will be found at the cross, because we thank you that at the cross we find Jesus.
Speaker 2:When we find Jesus, we have access to the Father. So, lord, we thank you that access to the Father is possible because Jesus says I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So tonight, lord, we come to Jesus Christ, we present ourselves to the living word. And, father, you tell us very clearly in Romans that faith comes from hearing, and hearing is heard through the message of the word of God. So, father, our faith is rising. We saw on wings as of eagles tonight. Lord, we will run and not grow faint. Lord, we will not get weary, we will not stumble, we will not fall because you have us. We are anointed and we are blessed and we are filled with the goodness of God, and so tonight.
Speaker 2:Lord, we believe, for everybody on the other side of the lens tonight, there is miracles. We believe everybody on the other side of these mics, lord, there is your saving grace. On the other side of these mics and this lens tonight, lord, in their front room, in their bedroom, in their workspace, in their cars, in their vans, as they walk in, whatever they are doing, lord, the church family on the other side of this lens tonight, lord, we thank you that they are full of grace and full of truth. We thank you, lord, that your love is on their house, that your love is on them, that you are blessing them. Lord, whether they're married, in marriage, out of marriage, whatever is going on in their relationships, father, bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. If they have children, bless the children, lord. If they live alone, bless them. If, whatever their circumstances are, lord, we thank you and we say yes, glory to God, to whoever is on the other side of this camera. We pray that you will strengthen them and bless them, heal them and guide them, nurture them, lord, and lead them into paths of righteousness. That the power of the Holy Spirit, lord, will be their comforter. That the word will be their shield. Father, we thank you for Ephesians, chapter 6, over their life. We thank you, father, that they have the helmet of salvation. We thank you that they've got the word, the sword. Lord, we thank you that they carry the living word of God. We thank you that they've got the word, the sword, lord, we thank you that they carry the living word of God. We thank you that they've got the belt of truth. We thank you that they've got the shield of faith, that their feet are fitted with the gospel of peace. We thank you that they have a belt of truth around their waist. Lord, we thank you that they are armed and they are dangerous and they are loaded with the word of God. But, lord, you also tell us blessed are the peacemakers. So, father, we put on the full armor, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, father, the sword of the spirit, father, we thank you for our armory.
Speaker 2:Lord, is of the living word and tonight, lord, we thank you that Lord, we don't need to fight, we just need to be dressed and ready in the living word. So, Lord, we are dressed and we are ready and we are children of the living God. But, lord, we thank you that the battle belongs to the Lord and, lord, you will fight for us. We just need to show up in the living word of God. We just need to walk around Jericho. We just need to run down to that Goliath. We just need to go into that situation with the belt of truth, because you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We go with the helmet of salvation that is protecting us. We are saved under every circumstance.
Speaker 2:In the name of Jesus, lord, we thank you that we have the sword of the Spirit. We carry the word of God and tonight, lord, we thank you that our chest, lord, our hearts are protected, lord, by the breastplate of righteousness. In the name of Jesus, our heart is protected by the breastplate of righteousness. And, lord, we walk completely with our feet fitted with the gospel of peace. We walk in peace.
Speaker 2:Tonight, lord, we don't walk in anger. We don't walk in frustration. We don't walk, lord, in false truths. We walk in the spirit of the living God. And tonight, lord, if anyone is tired and weary, strengthen them. If anyone, lord, feels lonely, take that feeling away. If anyone is worried about financial issues, Lord, strengthen them in their mind.
Speaker 2:Father, but all those that are in the battlefield of life, dressed and ready. Father, I thank you that the battle belongs to the Lord. Lord, remind us tonight, in our spirit, that the battle belongs to the Lord, that it's not our fight. It's just for us to show up and to walk in faith. For us to show up and to walk in faith, for us to move forward in the name of Jesus, because the battle belongs to the Lord and Father, there is power in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:Father, everybody online tonight, everybody that's jumping in and out of this broadcast, I pray that you will touch their lives in a very powerful way, that the living word will be shining within them, that they will feel your anointing over them, that they will know that their Redeemer lives and because he lives, they can face tomorrow. Spirit of the living God, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth and tonight, lord, we bow the knee. We bow the knee to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. But, lord, proverbs 3, verse 1, it says my, my brother, donnie's, got some scripture. He will lead us in prayer and we will just gently press in to what God has for us tonight. But wherever you are. Thank you for joining us with this broadcast at this midnight hour. God strengthen you and God be with you In Jesus' name amen.
Speaker 3:Amen to that, ben. Just a couple of things. It's obviously the last time we meet on this one until after Christmas, so there'll be a bit of Christmas stuff, a couple of little Christmas stories and some scripture.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:Just want to read you this, the lead of it, isaiah 9, 6, written by the Prince of Prophets 700 years or so before Christ was even born. And God's Christmas message is not one of religion, it's one of love. The message of Christmas to us is one of love. It's not religion. A lot of religious things go on, there's smoke and candles and stuff but it's about God's love. And this Isaiah pins it down for us. He says For to us a child is born. For us he says and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor Mighty God. And that Wonderful Counselor Mighty God was about to come to earth. And Lord, show us what love's all about.
Speaker 3:And just a little personal thing I remember when we were children when I was young I grew up in the 1950s and mostly around 52, 53, 54. And carol singing kids was quite common and we used to go out in the evenings and the nights. It was safe to do so then, and we was quite a poor family and we didn't have a lot of clothes. I can remember not having a pair of gloves, just putting a pair of socks on my hands, and some were socks and that's if we had two pairs. I can remember silly things like. We never had an undervest. We couldn't afford. That was like a luxury to have an undervest and stuff like that short trousers. You'd go around the streets freezing all night long. But my joy was when we finished the evening. I used to go and buy some sweets for my mum with the money, because I knew she didn't have any, didn't often get any, and I would spend that money on her sweets and I would come in and offer these sweets to her with my freezing, cold hands and give her these sweets and it was my way of showing my love for her. And my mum used to sort of push the sweets away and just grab hold of me and kiss me all over because it wasn't the sweets. She knew that I loved her and that was what was pleasing to her and God did the same.
Speaker 3:God's great love for us, you know. We say well, how big was it? How great is it? God sent his son, the greatest gift of all, to show us how much he loved us. He couldn't give anything greater than his own son to save us and to bring us to him. And that was the love of God on exhibition. And, father God, we just pray over this Christmas Lord, that all the razzmatazz, that true message will come, that God so loved us that he gave us his son, his only son. And in the same way I offered my mum those sweets, he offers his son to us. This is my son. He will get rid of your sins, he will bring you to eternal life. What a gift he gave us.
Speaker 3:And it kind of reminded me, as I was doing this, of that old widow who was in the temple and there was a load of guys in there, a lot of money, putting all their dollars and pound notes in whatever they had in them days. But all she had was two mites and I read it. It said that was the smallest coin in Jewish money banks and she only had two of them. And she put both of those in the box. And Jesus jumped up and said did you see that? Did you see what she'd done? She's put more than all these other people put together. She put everything she had in there and that's what Christ did. That's what God did for us. He put everything he had. There was nothing left, nothing left that he could give us more precious than what he gave us, and that was his son. And what pleased God was not that he got two mites in his bank extra, but the love of that lady had for him is what pleased him.
Speaker 3:And God wants our love.
Speaker 3:That's the message of Christmas. Jesus comes to show us his love so that we would love him and we will become his children. What a deal we got that night, that night of nights, that night that Christ was born. And, father God, I just pray in Jesus' name, that everyone's listening now, lord, that this message will go right into their spirits, father God, and it will lock up and let nothing else in no commercialism, no razzmatazz, no jingle bells and figgy pudding, nothing of that, lord. Yes, celebrate this, but celebrate this love of loves that God gave us everything, everything he could give us, his most precious thing he sent into this world because he loved us.
Speaker 3:That's the message of Christmas and, father, again, I pray you would download it into our spirits. Father God, night and day, lord, we will be celebrating that day when God came to this earth to save us all and we just thank you, jesus, for your glorious name, for this, lord. And that's the story of my life, my life. But God used that to show me all my life, the quality, the preciousness of love, a love for God, a love for one another. The whole of this Bible in front of me is a story of love, a love story. And, father God, the words in here, we pray. Lord, we'll jump out and live in our lives.
Speaker 3:Father God, that precious message of God's love for us that God gave us all. God gave us his two mites, god gave us all his sweet money. Lord, like I did everything, I gave up. And that mite, that old widow, gave everything up. Lord, you gave us everything. Nothing was left of Lord. We just thank you and praise you tonight. We pray that we will enjoy that truth of Christmas, lord, this year, and we ask it in Jesus' name Amen, amen, amen, amen. Thank you.
Speaker 2:Jesus.
Speaker 2:We love you, lord. Come, holy Spirit, father, just strengthen us. We pray, lord, come, lord, just move in a very powerful way on our hearts and our minds. Lord, oh Jesus, we just love you. Thank you, holy Spirit, thank you, god. We just worship you tonight, lord, and we praise the greatest name in heaven and earth. And, father, we just pray that you will strengthen us and bless us, that you will enrich our lives, that you, dear God, will move on families and friends, that you will just touch hearts tonight, lord, that the goodness of God will flow over us and through us, that your presence, of your word, father, will come into every situation.
Speaker 2:Father we thank you for the living word of God. Your word is sharper than a double-edged sword.
Speaker 2:So tonight, Lord, I just pray that you will just speak, Lord, to lives and to homes, into every situation. Lord, you tell us in the book of Joel, chapter 2, verse 28,. It says I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out. Let's just call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Let's just call on the name of Jesus tonight, Just call on the greatest name in heaven and earth.
Speaker 2:Whatever you face, whatever is going on, I just pray that you will just find the presence of the Holy Spirit that you've never really noticed before. Maybe that you're just calling on God and saying Lord, please increase your love upon me, increase your presence within me, increase your love around me, and we just rest in his arms tonight. He's the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. So, wherever you are, I just pray that you will find rest and peace for your spirit as we just enter into this place of rest tonight, with the Father and the presence of the holy spirit, with the living word. The word is your strength. The word is your rampart. The word is your shield. The word is your healer. The word is your jehovah jireh, jehovah nissi, jehovah shalom. The word is your peace. He is forever before you in all areas of your lives.
Speaker 2:I pray that you will find complete rest for your innermost being in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, strengthen us through your goodness and your mercy. Come, holy Spirit, lord. We pray that there will be a way that we never knew, a way, lord, that you will just touch our hearts. In the name of Jesus, lord, let there be rest and stillness in the name of Jesus. You are a good and a powerful God. Come, lord, strengthen us. We pray Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit In Jesus' precious name. Amen, amen and amen. Thank you, father, thank you Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3:Yeah, as I was praying this evening, I just could not connect with anything. I'm sure we all know what that's like. You know. You just seem to can't get out of the world. And in the end I sort of curled up in a ball. I was in the bedroom and I got this blanket and I threw it over my head and I just laid under there. I thought I'm going to just sit and wait for God.
Speaker 3:And I had this little word that said imagine you're in a church right now, a great big church. It's Christmas Eve and the door opens and the place fills up with living wrecks, people off the street, people who are broken, people who are grieving all sorts of situations. What would you do? What would you do in there? And I had to think. God had asked me a question. I had to think and it sounds daft now, but I'm going to say it anyway I said I'll jump up and lock the doors.
Speaker 3:I wouldn't let anyone out. I wouldn't let anyone out of there until they'd tasted your love, until they'd experienced your love. I said I would not let them out, lord, until they went out with your love, because that's the only thing that's going to rescue them. That's the only thing that's going to change their lives. They must taste it, they must see it, they must hold it, must experience it, not just read about it, not just hear it, but they must experience it. I said, lord, that's the only thing they could do, that's the only thing I could do, and I would pray for them until your Holy Spirit came and touched each one of them so that they had a taste of your love. And Lord, I guess that's what we can do in our own minds now, over Christmas.
Speaker 3:You can imagine you're in a church and God's give you the altar, god's give you the pulpit, and you're going to go say whatever you're going to say in prayer, and we can gather together all the people we know, people I meet on the streets, people I met this weekend. One lady said to me what makes you believe in God. She said I'm going to two funerals next week. I just can't see there's a God. And then she was running a little storm. Some people come up and sort of took the edge off it. I couldn't quite say all I wanted to do, but I can pray for them and I can form that church in my mind with all those people I love and know and have met and I know are broken and are suffering. I've got two people whose wife's died and the other one's husband died last week, and Lord and all those broken souls who don't know what to do and where to go, this is the chance. Form that little church in your spirit and bring them all in there.
Speaker 3:Pray for them Pray for each one of them Pray, the Holy Spirit will come and touch them and they will experience the love of God, this love that came down from heaven. Father God, I pray that we will be able to pray like this and transform and change things, father God, not just sit and feel sorry for them, but we can intercede into their lives. God has given us that ability to intercede in people's lives and change them. My life was saved through praying, people praying for me. I knew nothing about it for a year or so at least, after I was saved and my dad was saved. So many people I know I'm sure you all know a lot of people were saved through people praying and we can was saved so many people. I know. I'm sure you all know a lot of people were saved through people praying. And we can do that and, lord, I just pray in Jesus' name. Yes, lord, in these midnight hours as well, especially when you can't sleep, things like that. Just form this little church in your mind and pray for people.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:And you'll get the results. God has promised he will answer prayer and God is faithful to his word. We thank you, praise you, ask you these things in Jesus' name, amen.
Speaker 2:Amen, father, we pray for healing tonight. Lord, lord, I pray, lord, god, for one of our brothers in America at this moment tonight, lord, who's suffered a couple of fits. He's away with his wife. We just pray, father, that you get him home safely to the UK. We pray, lord, that you will strengthen them and, lord, he will get that certificate to fly back to the UK and all will be well, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. So, father, just touch that man's heart, his body, his being, strengthen him in the name of Jesus Christ. So, father, just touch that man's heart, his body, his being, strengthen him in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:Father I just ask you, Lord, that you will move powerfully. Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord, let your glory rest upon him in the name that is above every other name. So tonight, Lord, we just bring our brother before you and his wife in America.
Speaker 2:Lord that you will will, dear god, do the miracle on his heart, his mind, his body, his soul. Lord, and we will see him back in the uk, lord. We also pray for others this evening that are not very well lord through, different um ailments on bodies. Lord in minds, in hearts, just things, lord, that are resting on people. Lord, that are troubling people tonight, lord, we just pray that the holy Spirit, lord, will bring peace. We pray for those that have got turmoil in their thinking, lord, all those that are over-engineering the thought patterns, all those that are overthinking all those.
Speaker 2:Lord that have their minds just rushing away, Lord, and it's just pressing so hard. Father, we pray for the mind, Lord, that the mind will calm down. Lord, we pray for peace, for worry to disperse at the name of Jesus and the love of God will come in like a flood tonight, Lord, just wash over us, cleanse us by the blood of Jesus. Speak to us tonight, Lord. You are a good God, and we love you Father.
Speaker 2:We love the Holy Spirit. We worship our God and our King, and tonight, lord, let there be a way where there seems to be no way. Make a way, father, in the name of Jesus, holy Spirit, come and Lord, just open our homes, open our hearts, open our minds, open the work space, open up the children's hearts.
Speaker 4:Lord take any hardness away and tonight, lord, let the love of God just come in.
Speaker 2:Lord, let the love of God just come in like a flood. Let the love of God just come in tonight, Lord, and just wash over every one of us that the love of the Father, the Son, the Holy. Spirit Lord will be in their lives. We thank you for the living word of God. The living word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword and I pray tonight, lord, that the power of the Holy Spirit Lord will speak to many lives tonight, lord we pray for those at this midnight hour.
Speaker 2:We pray, lord, as we are 35 minutes in. We pray, father, for this watch, this hour's watch, lord, this very spiritually heightened time, lord, we ask you, father, that there will be watchmen on the wall. We pray, father, god, that through the midnight hours, lord, through that hour, through that moment, through them, watches, through them certain very powerful spiritual times. Through the midnight hours as they tick through, lord, the early mornings, father, we pray that the Spirit of God will speak to those lives. Lord, for any sicknesses, any diseases, father will be gone. At the name of Jesus, all fear will go. At the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Lord, pour out your Spirit tonight. Draw us, lord, draw us deep, take us in tonight, lord, take us closer, take us further into your word. We pray that you will just put people around us, Lord, that will walk with us when we're tired. We pray, lord, that you will put people around us that will carry us when we're weary. We pray that you will put people around us, lord, when we're exhausted and when we're doubtful, when all energy is broke out. Lord, we thank you for that.
Speaker 2:That New Testament writer, when he writes very clearly, he said Our bodies were tired, we were harassed and we also had conflict on the outside, but within we had fear. So, lord, the four elements of harassment. We pray for the area of conflict, we pray for the area of our bodies being tired and, lord, we also pray for probably the most powerful. It's one out of the four. Lord, as that New Testament writer wrote so clearly and so beautifully the fears that lie within, please Lord, please Lord, any fears that are lying within the mind, within our thinking, within our understanding, Lord, I ask you, father, that you will remove anything, at the name of Jesus, lord, that is fearful, that is trying to distract us from what you have for us, anything that the enemy has brought in like a delusion. A delusion, lord, a smoke screen, something that's come in that is bringing fog to our vision. Father, remove the fog, lord. Let us see clearly again. Give us eyes to see, give us ears to hear, give us a heart to receive. Wonderful God.
Speaker 2:Wonderful Counselor, mighty God, mighty Redeemer, you are the great I Am. You are the King above all kings. You are the God above all gods. You are worthy of all praise. You are the King above all kings. You are the God above all gods. You are worthy of all praise. Spirit of the living God, I pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit will rest in every home, that the fire of the living God will rest on you tonight. I pray that the living God will speak to you tonight.
Speaker 2:I pray for those that are struggling to sleep, lord, that you will strengthen those that are struggling to sleep tonight, that you will bless them, press down, running over, shaking together, that the glory of God will be over them. In the mighty name of Jesus. Father, strengthen the children in this nation, strengthen the children, bless them, guard them, them, protect them. Blood, wash them, lord. Let their hearts, father, god, let their hearts, father, be drawn to you. Father, we pray for those that are caught in the slave trade. We pray for those that are caught in human exploitation, those that are in marriages and relationships that are very abusive. We pray for protection in the name of Jesus. We pray for the school bully. We pray, father, for those that are very abusive. We pray for protection in the name of Jesus. We pray for the school bully. We pray, father, for those that are being bullied, for those, father, god, that are being led astray. We ask you, father, for those that have got members of their family that are very controlling, that are trying to control other people's lives. Father, we pray that you will remove the controllers. You will remove the narcissistic controllers away, father, that the bull. You will remove the controllers. You will remove the narcissistic controllers away, father. That the bullies will be removed. At the name of Jesus, that fear will go.
Speaker 2:Lord, we pray for workplace issues as well. For those that have got workplace issues, we pray tonight, lord, that you will strengthen them and bless them and all the areas of workplace issues will be melting like wax. At the name of Jesus, the fire of God. Lord, we need manna from heaven, we need a word from God. We need your presence and your love and your goodness, your strength and your mercy. Come Holy Spirit, redeem us tonight. Lord, redeem us and restore us, guide us and lead us. And, Lord, in these few minutes, as we get ready to take of the cup and as we take of the bread, I just pray, lord, that you would just prepare our hearts. Turn our hearts over, lord, cultivate our hearts tonight, lord. Father, if I've got a stony heart, lord, remove the stoniness. Lord, if it's like a rock, father, open my heart up tonight. Lord, give us a heart like David had after God. Lord, we want a heart like David's heart. The scripture says David had a heart after God. Lord, we want a heart after you. We're hungry for you, we're thirsty for you. We are longing for more of Jesus Christ. Remove the selfishness, remove the fears, lord, remove the pride and the arrogance, lord. Anything, lord, that is not according to the living word of God, remove it. We pray in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:Lord, as we look in Exodus, chapter 20, the 10 commandments, we pray right now, lord, that the 10 commandments, lord, we read them, we look at them, we study them.
Speaker 2:Help us to live in the 10 commandments, lord, in your word that we have got no false idols before you.
Speaker 2:If I've got false idols before you, lord, reveal them and move them and take them down in the name of Jesus. Father, if we are building towers, if we are building, father, god, foreign gods in our lives, remove them. Lord, you tell us that thou shall not have any foreign gods. We shall not have anyone higher than thee. So tonight, lord, if we are worshipping Lord, materialism, if we are prideful, if we are unforgiving, if we are agitated, father, all the stuff, if we're angry, if we're not forgiving our brother or our sister, if we're carrying baggage, whatever that may be, as we come to the cross tonight, as we come to the table and, lord, as we remember the cup and as we take of the bread, I pray, father, that you'll wash us and cleanse us in the crimson tide that we will feel the love and the power of the Holy Spirit. But tonight is breakthrough night. Tonight, lord, is breakthrough night, lord, that you are taking people away from us that cause us issues.
Speaker 2:You are putting people around us that will carry us in prayer. Lord, we pray that you will remove any backstabbers, any haters, any of those people, lord, that are causing issues at work in relationships. Father, we pray that you will surround us with people that will carry us, the Barnabases that will encourage us when we're down and when we're weary. Lord, we pray for those, lord, that keep bringing Lord a bad word to us. We don't want to hear a bad word, we want to hear encouragement. We want to hear, lord, your word. We want to know that our Redeemer lives and because he lives, we can face tomorrow.
Speaker 2:Brothers and sisters, we've got a couple of minutes and we are coming to the emblems the bread that symbolises the body of Christ and also the wine that represents the blood of Jesus Christ, the bread of the body and the wine that represents the blood Spirit of the living God. Refresh us and draw us. I pray, lord, as Donny leads us, as Donny leads us to communion, to the Passover. Brothers and sisters, grab yourself a bit of grape juice, a bit of wine, whatever that may be, a corner of a bit of bread. We're going to do this in just a few minutes and Donny will lead us, and we're just coming to the end of the service, the midnight hour. But God is with you. Wherever you are across this world, god is with you wherever you are across this world, god is with you.
Speaker 3:God bless you.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Listen. Just Jesus washed his disciples' feet. It seemed an odd thing at the time. He said you're clean.
Speaker 3:But you know, as we go through the days, sometimes sin builds up on us a little bit. We get like a little bit of unforgiveness here, a little bit of unforgiveness there, and these things build up on us. And Jesus told us to confess our sins and get rid of them. And he said bring your burdens to me. These things are burdens. Sometimes we push them to the side and they build up a bit too much and we suffer for it. So let's just come to that cross now, as Jesus said. That's what it's for. And sometimes that bowl full of sins that build up on us can be so big we might need help to carry them even. And we just bring them to the foot of that cross right now.
Speaker 3:Lord, everyone, anything unforgiveness, especially any unforgiveness in your life where you're finding it hard to forgive someone or something, you know God don't want you carrying that baggage. He comes to set you free from it. So, Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord, we come to you and we lay it down now, we give it up to you, Father, God, and we repent of it. And, Lord, we thank you for the chance, the opportunity to get rid of it. Lord, Because you said yesterday, today and forever I am the same Lord, all our sins, you saw it all.
Speaker 3:You saw it all before you poured your blood out. You saw our yesterday's sin, our today's sin and our sin tomorrow and you said we're worth it. And you took it all away. And now there is no condemnation for us who are in Christ. We've been set free from the law, we live under grace and mercy, and that sounds extravagant, but it took the blood of Christ to do this. So, Lord, we just take it now. We just take that forgiveness, Lord, and give you the burdens. We give you our unforgiveness and all those things, Lord, that are built up on us, and we give you thanks in Jesus' name for that, Lord, Amen, Amen.
Speaker 2:Amen. Thank you, holy Spirit Father, thank you Lord.
Speaker 3:You're gone. Okay, we're due communion now.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we're due communion.
Speaker 3:The last one is a Christmas one, remember. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I just thought another tiny little Christmas story that I see ages ago, and it was an old priest and you know he looked like he should have retired about 20 years ago, like me. And he's standing before this little bunch of candles, christmas candles, and he said this candle. He said our faith is like this. This candle, he said our faith is like this. He said and have you noticed that sometimes, for some reason, no one really knows why that candle can go so low? The light on it it's just like an illuminated wick. It's just a tiny little flicker on the end of it, but it never goes out. And then there'll be another day when it's about two inches long and there'll be smoke coming off. It'll be like a bonfire. And that's how he said, that is how our faith is. Now. I'm saying this so you don't get worried about it. It's kind of normal really to have that, but you don't worry too much about it, because Jesus prayed for our faith, just as he prayed for Peter. Kind of normal really to have that, but you don't worry too much about it, because Jesus prayed for our faith just as he prayed for Peter's faith. He prayed that our faith would hold out. I'll read you that prayer in a minute. But that's the situation.
Speaker 3:Sometimes, you know, you can say, oh, my faith's gone, and you get a bit worked up about it. You know, am I drifting away from God? It feels like you're working on auto. Sometimes, like you know, you're doing all these godly things, praying for people and stuff, without feeling things, without getting emotional. That's okay. Faith's like that. God has covered it for us. It's such a perfect salvation that we don't have to worry about it. Jesus foresaw it all. So we just give that to you too, lord, that when our faith is going right down, help us not to worry about it, help us to know, father, god, that that faith will never die because you prayed for us and you are faithful and your prayers will be answered, Lord, for us. And we just thank you, lord, that we have that safety net underneath us. Underneath us are the everlasting arms of God, which is thank you, lord, and take this bread as the body of Christ. And just going to read you that prayer that he gave us.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:John 17. Yep, okay, jesus had prayed for the disciples. And he's finished, then, and he says I do not pray for these alone, but I also pray for those who will believe in me through their word, that's, us. Jesus is praying for us, amen, isn't that?
Speaker 2:great. I love it.
Speaker 3:Thank you, jesus, the Son of God, has prayed for us, that's us.
Speaker 2:Jesus is praying for us. Amen. Isn't that great. I love it.
Speaker 3:The Son of God has prayed for us that our faith will hold, just like Peter's. Yes, he went through trials, tribulations and heartaches. He wept bitterly, but his faith held out, and that's how ours will be, once saved, always saved. God even keeps our faith. For us, jesus has prayed. He said. I do not pray for these alone, but for all those who will believe in me through their word, that they all may be one, as you Father and I.
Speaker 3:as you Father are in me and I are in you and that they also may be one in us, so we're with them all, one together. That the world may believe that you sent me and that the glory which you gave me I have given to them, that's us. That they may be one, just as you and I are one, I in them and you in me. That they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that you have sent me and I have loved them as you have loved me, father, I desire that they also, whom you gave me, may be with me.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:May be with me where I am.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:That they may behold my glory which you have given to me, For you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world has not known you, but I have known you and these have known that you sent me, and I have declared to them your name and will declare it that the love with which you love me may be in them and I in them. The same love God loves Jesus with, he will love us with. That's the word of God. Those words come out of Jesus' mouth.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 3:Lord, father God, we just thank you. We thank you for coming into this world, lord, knowing that you was going to go through that terrible death, knowing that you was going to face separation from your Father God, the pain and the nails and in your feet. You never uttered a word, lord, but when you were separated from your father, you cried out. The pain was too much and, lord, you knew you was going to go through all that, but you knew the cost that we would never get into heaven without that. And this is the body that you gave up for us, father God, and we just thank you for it in Jesus' name. Amen, amen, amen. And we take this cup, lord. I can hardly pick it up, lord, this cup with your blood in it, your blood, lord, it was shed for us for your love for us. This is saying to us this is how much I love you, lord. It was shed for us for your love for us. This is saying to us, this is how much I love you, don Ben.
Speaker 2:Amen.
Speaker 3:This is real. This is for real. This is how much I love you, bill Wendy, whoever. This is how much I love you, oh Lord, we just thank you. We thank you, lord, that you commanded this so we would never forget, we would never get mixed up with that work for your salvation stuff. We would always know clearly that it was your blood, Amen, and your body, yes, and your sacrifice and your love that opened the way to heaven for us. We just thank you in Jesus' name for it, lord, amen, amen.
Speaker 2:Hallelujah. Thank you, jesus, brothers and sisters, I have taken the bread and the wine three times today. Religion would go mad, wouldn't they? They, if they knew that. But Jesus said as often as you come together, there is no limiter. God doesn't limit to. Four times a week, five times, seven times a week. I've taken that three times today and I thank God that I've been able to take it three times, because I've needed it three times. I could do with taking it every hour, you know. Thank God, that I've been able to take it three times. Thank you, lord, because I've needed it three times.
Speaker 2:I could do with taking it every hour, you know, yeah me too.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Hallelujah. What the religious organization would think about that one?
Speaker 2:I don't know we need it as much as we possibly can. God doesn't put a restrictor on it. He says as often as you come together, you could be meeting three, four brothers, sisters, you could be going to prayer meetings and prayer groups and Bible studies, and they're taking it three, four, five times. Just keep taking it, because it brings us always to repentance.
Speaker 3:It brings us to the cross.
Speaker 2:It brings us to the word. It brings us to Jesus. We don't need the high flute in church to tell us what to do. That is not scripture. Jesus says as often as you come together you might be meeting with your brothers and sisters more times than you can count sometimes and you take it and you take that, and you take that as often as you come together Jesus gives us clear instruction.
Speaker 2:So we're just going to finish off, and we're just going to finish off and we're just going to wrap up in a couple of moments and as we're all gathered and we're here, we our prayer, don's prayer and my prayer is that you find peace tonight yeah is that all of us find peace and everybody that will capture this service through uh, the power of uh, podcasting and everything that rolls a week later, but for for everyone on the socials at this moment across the world, and we welcome you and God bless you and all that sort of stuff. In the mighty name of Jesus, god is with you, god is with you wherever you are in, and on this earth. God is with you. And he knows where you live.
Speaker 2:He knows more about you than the government because he created you and he loves you unconditionally and his love you know, I'm just going to read this last scripture for me tonight, and this is coming from the book of Habakkuk. You know, we don't really turn to that book a lot, really. In the last part of Habakkuk, chapter 3, habakkuk's prayer, verse 19,. It says the sovereign Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. You know.
Speaker 3:Amen.
Speaker 2:God is the one that shapes our footway. God keeps us on the rock face. God gives you feet fitted with the readiness to hold in that place.
Speaker 2:Habaka, chapter 3, verse 19 the sovereign lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. He enables me to go on the heights. When you journey with god, he's not going to keep you low. God will take you to the cliff face. God will take you to the place where you're, where your feet are fitted with the readiness of a deer, where you can hold it and you can hold it and you can hold it. Do you realize you hold it longer than you realize? Do you realize that in the situations that you're in, you are holding it longer than you could ever imagine? God is with you because he has given you strength. The sovereign Lord is your strength. The sovereign Lord, he is sovereign, his ways are just and he is with you.
Speaker 2:We thank you so much for joining us tonight. I'm going to ask, don, if you will close in just a short prayer and we're going to press the buttons and we will disappear and we pray that wherever you are across this world, whatever your time zone is. We thank you for joining us tonight for the midnight hour or this morning, and to everybody, the online church, we thank you so much for joining us tonight. It's so good to see the scriptures coming up. It's so good to see some interaction and we've been able to do that a little bit more tonight. God bless everyone of you. Donnie's going to close in prayer and we will see you very, very soon. God bless, take care.
Speaker 3:Okay, yeah, yeah, father, thank you for this prayer night. Lord, your, yeah, father, thank you for this prayer night. Lord, your Holy Spirit's here and ministering to us and to everybody else. Father, god, I pray that everyone listening, everyone who does listen, will have a fantastic Christmas, that they will taste the love of God, that they will experience the love of God, lord, they will know what a real Christmas is about the night that God came to the earth escorted by the angels and in a shed, lord of all things, what a saviour, what a God, what a King. Come amongst the poor with that message of love, lord, that costs you everything. Thank you, father God.
Speaker 3:And we just pray, lord, that each one of us, each one of us, lord, will become that prayer warrior. We form in our minds that church, lord, and get in that pulpit and lock the doors and just keep praying for people that they will experience the love of God, that they will have the love of God, that they will have the joy of the Lord in them, that they won't miss anything, lord, because God wants everything. He said God so loved the world. That's everybody. That's black, white, yellow, red, rich, poor, beggar, man, thief, addict, jailbird, you name it. Jesus said, god so loved the world, the world, everything Whosoever, would come, come and drink the waters of life. Lord, we pray that message over Christmas now, that message of peace, but most of all, lord, that love of God, lord, we will taste it and experience it in the fullness of it, lord, and we ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
Speaker 2:Amen, amen and amen. God bless everyone of you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May God strengthen you and be with you wherever you are, at this midnight hour, the early dawn, god bless. Sleep well, in the mighty name of Jesus, we'll catch you soon. Have a wonderful Christmas in Jesus' name, amen.
