Have you ever found yourself overwhelmed by life's challenges, yearning for peace and strength? Join us as we explore the profound journey of faith, hope, and redemption, sharing personal stories that resonate with those seeking solace in the divine. Our latest episode draws inspiration from the timeless wisdom of scriptures, like Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites the weary into His comforting embrace. We dive into heartfelt reflections on recent personal trials, emphasizing the transformative power of meditating on God's promises to find tranquility amidst chaos.

Together, we venture into the heart of spiritual resilience, discussing the ever-present love of God in even the most overwhelming times. Through the guidance of scriptures such as Psalms 40 and 43, we explore the idea that challenges may serve as God's divine plan to refine and fortify the church and its believers. This episode serves as a reminder to lean on God's strength, offering reassurance and hope through the enduring nature of His love and support in times of adversity.

As we approach the Christmas season, we celebrate the transformative message of Jesus and the true significance of redemption. From inspiring testimonies of personal transformations and baptisms to stories of deliverance and newfound faith, we underscore the unyielding power of being "born again." Reflecting on Psalms and the words of Jesus, we find comfort in the assurance that nothing can separate us from God's love. Through prayer and reflection, we invite you to embrace the message of hope and salvation, drawing strength from communion and anchoring faith in the promises of Christ.

Speaker 2:

Good morning, good morning wherever you are across the world. We thank God for your lives and we thank you for tuning in to this broadcast and this podcast. So, wherever you are this morning, just never give up hope. The Lord is with us and there is power. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, good morning to coffee and prayer watchers. We are back. We've had a couple of weeks out and that was my fault because we had I had a sorry a couple of funerals and a couple of things to have to go. We have to put bread on the table in here, so we have to get moving. But we're back. It is Wednesday morning, it is 9.30 and the Lord is good. His mercy endures forever. Wherever you are this morning, just grab yourself a Bible. As we settle down, as we just rest, as we be still, and we're going to turn to the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. I feel this is really relevant for where we are sitting. Everything that's happening within the church and I'm talking about globally and also within the UK so many ripples and so many hand grenades, I should say, have been going off everywhere. What we are seeing. But just a good morning and a good welcome to everybody this morning, wherever you are joining us for this service.

Speaker 2:

The bible says in matthew, chapter 11, verse 28 come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, I will give you rest. Come on jesus, who feels like they need that this morning. Come to jesus, come to the king of kings and the lord of lords. Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. Let's use that scripture this morning. Let's use it through prayer, let's use it for, maybe, a bit of meditation, and I'm not talking about, uh, lifting yourself up in any other form, but in, as the scripture says in the book of joshua very, very clear meditate on the word day and night. Do not let this book of the lord depart from thy mouth. So it's really, really important that we get the word and we rest in it, we meditate in it, we chew the scripture over and we pray it through and we just bring it to our heart. So come to me.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says come to me all of you that are weary and burdened. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, this morning, we thank you that you are the rest giver, that you give us rest, that you are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and Father, we come to you this morning burdened and heavily laden, weighed down with life itself, lord, with everything that's happening on in life, lord, everything that's going on. But, lord, we thank you that we are blessed and highly favoured. Lord, we thank you that we are blessed and highly favoured. Lord, we thank you by the blood of Jesus. Lord, we thank you, lord, by your promises are yes and amen. So we come to you, lord, this morning.

Speaker 2:

Lord, we're walking to you this morning, father, we're coming to the cross of Calvary, we're coming to a place of finding a place of rest. We're just resting in your arms, lord, and as we, dear God, just seek your face this morning, as we seek the Father's heart, as we seek you, lord, as we look for you, father, in the busyness of life. Father, we thank you that you're in all things, you are in all things, you're in our lives, you're in our hearts, you're in our minds. Lord, you're in every area that we walk. But, lord, this morning we come to you. So, father, we come to you, lord, in prayer, we come to you in worship, we come to you in meditation, as in the scripture tells us. We come, lord, with the scripture on our heart. Lord, we meditate over that word, we think about that word, we pray over that word and, lord, we thank you for the word this morning.

Speaker 2:

Come to me all of you that are weary. Are you weary and tired? Lord, I'm tired, I'm weary, but, lord, by God's grace and his mercy, we thank you that all things are possible to those who believe. And we carry, lord, a great message for the world Jesus Christ is the saviour of the world. And as we come to the cross of Calvary today, as we break bread together today, lord, as we stand at the cross and we say yes, hallelujah, thank you, jesus, that your word is power, your word is life, word is hope, your word, father, is everything that we need. Father, we thank you that your word cuts through, your word delivers, your word heals, your word sets the captives free and lord. We come to you this morning.

Speaker 2:

Come to me all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, father. We thank you for the beautiful scriptures this morning. Just easy, just to ease us into the day. Ease us into this day, because this is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad. So we come to you this morning, lord, and we lift up the wonderful name of Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we thank you that you are the place of rest. We thank you that you are the place of hope. We thank you, lord, that you are the place, dear God, where we can lay our burdens down, we can leave our fears with you. We can walk tall, we can walk strong, we can stand the storms of life. And as we come this morning, lord, father, we thank you for the love of God, the love of the Father, the love of the Holy Spirit, this triune Godhead, this Godhead that we serve, this beautiful God, yahweh, we thank you that you are the way, the truth and the life.

Speaker 2:

So, lord Jesus Christ, as we come to you this morning as brothers and sisters around the world, as we come, dear God, as the online church, as we walk as brothers and sisters, as we listen, lord, to these live streams, father, whether we're at work, whether we're at home, wherever we are, we thank you for the power of the word of God is with us, that you never leave us nor forsake us that we are not left as orphans, that the Holy Spirit is with us. But today, lord, in the busyness of life, lord, with everything that's going on around us, with everything, lord, with everything that's going on around us, with everything, lord, that's happening in church, out of church, on the news, father, in schools, in colleges, in relationships, in culture, in ministry. Lord in the workplace, lord, in our homes, every area of life, we bring the burdens. We bring the burdens. Come to me, lord, we thank you that you are calling us today and we come to you, lord, open-hearted Lord, we come to you, dear God, and say, father, will you lead us today in paths of righteousness? Will you lead us today by your grace, will you lead us today by your love? And, father, wrap that glory around us, wrap your presence around us, wrap your love around us. Father, we thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit. We thank you that the Holy Spirit is with us, lord, that the Holy Spirit is leading us, that the Holy Spirit is our counselor, that the Holy Spirit is the one that is just refreshing us at this moment in time by the living word of God. So, father, we thank you that your word is true, your word is true and we come to you this morning. We come to you as brothers and sisters, lord.

Speaker 2:

Maybe we're broken, maybe we're tired, maybe we're trying to put on a brave face, maybe we're trying to smile for the world around us, maybe we're carrying heavy stuff in our hearts, but, lord, we come to you, lord, and there are areas of our lives that we don't know how to deal with. There are areas of our lives that we're not sure of, there are areas that are confusing. There are areas that are confusing. There are areas that are tiring, that are weary, that are, that may be even lonely and fearful and doubtful. But we come to you this morning as brothers and sisters in christ jesus.

Speaker 2:

We come, dear god, maybe not sure of who we are, maybe our identity seems to be lost in the, in the busyness of life, that we've lost ourselves. But, father, we thank you that we're not lost in you because, lord, we thank you that we're not lost in you because, lord, we thank you that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, for I am convinced neither death nor life, nor nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Father, we thank you that there is nothing on this earth that can separate us from your love. There is nothing on this earth, father, that can separate us from you. There is nothing around us, lord. There is nothing, lord, on this earth that we are grafted in.

Speaker 2:

And as we, lord, god, sit around the table, as we pray, as we be still, as we read the scriptures, as we move forward in faith, today, father, we thank you that we are blessed and highly favoured. We are wonderfully and fearfully made, and by your grace and by your power and by your love and by your mercy and by your strength, lord, we call on the God, the God that said let there be light. We call on the God that put the stars in the heavens. We call on Yahweh, we call on the great.

Speaker 2:

I Am Spirit of the Living God, holy God that you are Great Redeemer, king of kings and Lord of lords, for those that are suffering with mental health this morning, those that are tired, those that are weary, those that are exhausted, today, we come to you today, lord, because that's what the scripture says Come to me all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. It's Jesus Christ, it's the living word. So, through prayer and through hope and through faith in the living word of God, come to Jesus, whatever your life is looking like, whatever the drumbeat, whatever the rhythm of life is happening around you at this moment, jesus Christ is calling you. Come to me. We're in the scriptures of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. Come to me all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Speaker 2:

Good morning world. God bless you. Wherever you are this morning, we are in and we are ready to press into the scriptures through prayer, and thank you for joining us for coffee and prayer this morning. And whatever your life is looking like, wherever you are around the world, may God strengthen you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. God bless Good morning. Good morning, good morning everybody.

Speaker 3:

Well, Ben was praying. I'm looking through the Psalms and just thinking the Psalms is a roller coaster, isn't it?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know, of absolute praise, of absolute openness and worship of God and then others, of.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

Like in Psalm 43, verse 5. It's just the reality of life. Why am I so discouraged?

Speaker 2:

Oh Jesus, why is?

Speaker 3:

my heart so sad, I will put hope in God. I will praise him again, my saviour and my God. That's Psalm 43, verse 5. Thank you, jesus. Psalm 42, verse 5.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus Psalm 42, verse 11.

Speaker 3:

Actually, you look further and further Verse 5 of Psalm 42. You just read through the Psalms.

Speaker 4:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

King David, even he struggles, but, but, but.

Speaker 2:

Amen, Psalm 40. Come on Jesus.

Speaker 3:

Actually, verse 13 says Lord, rescue me Please.

Speaker 2:

That's the prayer Rescue me Verse 12.

Speaker 3:

For trouble surrounds me too many to count.

Speaker 2:

Oh Jesus, is that how you feel today? It is Glenn.

Speaker 3:

Why am I so discouraged? Why am I so sad? What's going on in me? Everything surrounds me. I can't see a way out of this. I'm going, I'm sinking and I'm going down for the third time, jesus. But Psalm 40 starts with I waited patiently for the Lord to help me. He turned to me and heard my cry. Amen.

Speaker 3:

Lord he lifted me out of the pit of despair. Hallelujah, out of the mud and the mire. You see, even Christians find themselves there. Yes, we do, even mighty men of God. This is a psalm of David. David, I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.

Speaker 1:

Thank, you Jesus, yeah even.

Speaker 3:

David cried. He lifted me out of the pit of despair. Even David was in the pit of despair. Thank you. Jesus Out of the mud and out of the mire. He set my feet on solid ground. He steadied me as I walked along. It's what this walk is all about. He chose us before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

In love. He predestined us In his foreknowledge. Knowing everything about us. He was pierced for our transgressions, our sins, and crushed for our iniquities. That's weakness of mind weakness of stature, weakness, of character. It's not about how steady we are. It's about how steady God is.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

I was having a chat with another church leader just last week and he said to me oh, the devil is really attacking the church, isn't he? And I said, no, it's God. It's God, yeah the lord is stripping what john the baptist said of jesus is. His winnowing fork is in his hand. Come on jesus he will remove the wheat from the chaff yes, lord how do they do that? Everything gets thrown in the air and it gets a mighty bash. He said his threshing fork is in his hand. Yes, Lord.

Speaker 3:

He is sifting the church of God because he said I will build my church and the gates and the gates of hell will not prevail against her. Man's church is being blown away by the Holy Spirit. God's church will endure, hallelujah. So if you're feeling bashed, if you're wondering what's going on, god is at work in you. Thank you, jesus. In Psalm 39, verse 11, it says when you discipline us for our sins, you consume like a moth what is precious to us.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Lord, things of us, things of man will be consumed. The things of God will never be consumed. Heaven and earth will pass away.

Speaker 2:

Oh, hallelujah.

Speaker 3:

My words will never pass away, says the Lord. Thank you for the word, Lord. I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me up out of the pit of despair. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing. There's new songs coming. People of God.

Speaker 1:

Yes, Lord. Songs of salvation.

Speaker 2:

Songs of hope.

Speaker 3:

Songs of back to God's way, a spirit-led church, not a church of tradition, not a church of pomp and ceremony. That's all man's outward funny hats and robes, what's that all about? Honestly, the church of God is the kingdom of God living in you. Yes, lord, our identity is that we are the children of God and the height of transcendence is being filled with his presence. We are living temples. He's having his way. He's taken us right back to how it should be. And then it's not by power, not by might, not by manipulation and not by royal processions, but by my spirit, says the Lord.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Lord and many will see what he has done. I'm back in the psalm and be amazed. And they will put their trust in the Lord Stand in the word. My trust is not in politicians. My trust is not in Donald Trump over in America. My trust is not in our political systems here in the UK.

Speaker 3:

My trust isn't even those people who call themselves the great generals of God. What's that all about? My trust is in the Spirit of God. Jesus is alive, that he who began this good work is the one who brings it to completion. Why am I discouraged? Because I listen to the wrong voices. I listen to my own flesh. Why is my heart so sad? Because I look at what I can do and what those around me can do. No, I'll put my trust in God. I'll put my hope in him and I will face him again. Remember what he was like before we spoken in, before we spoke into your life. Thank you, holy lost, blind. I've, just this last two weeks, I've encountered four people who, just in the last few years every single one of them was ready to take their own lives, and then God spoke.

Speaker 2:

It's very real at the moment. Yeah, very, very real.

Speaker 3:

God spoke.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

Myself nearly 40 years ago. I went out to do it. God intervened. Amen, he is for you. Yes, Lord. He does have mercy, and he will just cry out to him, and he will just cry out to him and he will heal you. He will hear you. Yes, lord, in Psalm 40, 16, I'll land with this one but may all who search for you, but may all who search for you, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved.

Speaker 2:

Thank you for salvation.

Speaker 3:

But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. Yes, Father, May those who love your salvation come on salvation. We're going to stand in the holy presence of God For eternity, For eternity. Made like him, we will be transformed and we will be as he is.

Speaker 3:

We'll be able to stand in that holy presence, because there'll be no sin in us. We'll be like he is. Yes, father, may those who love your salvation repeatedly shout the Lord is great. And as for me, since I am poor and needy, let the Lord keep me in his thoughts. You are my helper and my saviour. Oh, my God, do not delay, come on. Jesus. Lord, I want to thank you for the reality of your Holy Spirit, your very presence, living in us, yes, lord, and I want to thank you that your word says that this promise, the promise, the promise of the holy spirit, is for you, your children, all those that are far off. Come on, everyone who believes. Come on, jesus, holy spirit. Flood your church, flood us again. We need you. We need hope restored. We need us again. We need you. We need hope restored, we need faith revived and we need you to put our eyes back on our Saviour and our Father God, for it's through you, holy Spirit, that we cry Abba, father, hallelujah, bring revelation, bring peace and bring transformation.

Speaker 2:

Amen, Amen. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Holy Spirit, Thank you Father. We bless you, Amen Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, holy Spirit, thank you.

Speaker 4:

Father, we bless you, lord. Thank you, Jesus, you can't do anything without Holy Spirit, and thank you, glenn, for all those psalms. In fact, I've got my marker. It was in Psalm 18 this morning. Oh okay, Good old psalms. It was in Psalm 18 this morning, oh, okay.

Speaker 4:

Good old Psalms, which is quite powerful because, bearing in mind what you've just said, I love you, o Lord. My strength, the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise and I am saved from my enemies.

Speaker 2:

Amen. Thank you, Lord.

Speaker 4:

The cords of death entangle me. In fact, you experienced that, didn't you? Yes, and the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave called around me, the snares of death confronted me. In my distress, I called to the Lord. I cried to my God for help From his temple. He heard my voice. My cry came before him into his ears. And it goes on.

Speaker 4:

The earth trembled and quaked and the foundations of the mountains shook. They trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils. Consuming fire came from his mouth. Burning coals blazed out of it. He parted the heavens and came down. Dark clouds were under his feet. He mounted the cherubim and flew. He soared on the wings of the wind. He made darknesses covering his canopy, around him, the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence, clouds advanced with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The Lord thundered from heaven. The voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered of lightning. The Lord thundered from heaven. The voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered the enemies. Great bolts of lightning enrouted them. It goes on, it goes on. It's quite a long psalm, isn't it? Yeah, but I can see you smiling there, glenn, because those words appear in Psalm 116 as well. We know that testimony.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the diver.

Speaker 4:

It's quite amazing that actually, god really gets in touch with us sometimes and we can feel his presence. And that's why we came here every Wednesday, because we know that God's presence is here and communicating the message of salvation. And there's only one way and that's through Jesus. And I'm astonished that there are so many christians around the world. But when we look at our own country here, we seem to be drifting and we need to come back to god. We need to come back to god because jesus is the answer to everything. And you know we're approaching Christmas now and you know I saw online only yesterday someone's put up their Christmas tree. Can you believe that?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can actually, yeah, I can believe that.

Speaker 4:

But the Christmas tree and the baubles and all that sort of stuff isn't what Christmas is all about. Christmas is, in fact, all about Jesus, and we need to remember that.

Speaker 4:

And I just want to thank you, jesus, that you came to earth. You came to earth because you were on a mission. That mission was to save us, to save the world, to save the world, and thank you that you saved me. And, father God, I just pray now that by your spirit, you will reach out. Reach out over the airwaves today to all those who are listening. And, father god, we know that so many people are crying out because of their situations, and we spoke about them this morning. Thank you, you can come. You can come and bring your salvation, which is when it comes to it.

Speaker 1:

That's all that matters is that we are in relationship with you.

Speaker 2:

Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord the.

Speaker 4:

God of all creation, the.

Speaker 2:

God of the world.

Speaker 4:

Father, we just thank you for what you've done and we pray now that your spirit will be prompting people over the airwaves to say I need. Jesus. I want Jesus into my life and we know, Father God, that you are the one and only way.

Speaker 2:

You are the way, Lord.

Speaker 4:

You are the way, the truth and the life, and, and your word says, no one comes to the father except through you, jesus hallelujah so we thank you. We thank you that you had a mission when you came to earth. That mission, um has um yes father, snowballed around the world. We thank you, father, god, that we can be a relationship with you through your son jesus, and we say holy spirit, come, fill, fill this place here, where we're sitting.

Speaker 4:

Fill us, lord, fill us afresh this uh recording room, fill this church, fill the communities around and for all those listening, that there will be such a revelation of who you are that you will change lives you will bring healing, you will bring a new stage in people's lives, that you will draw a line over their lives and from now on, from today, that things will change, that things will be different, that you are the one and only. Thank you, father, god, we thank you for your word. We pray, father, that you, the words of this psalm, the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.

Speaker 2:

Amen.

Speaker 4:

That will resound in people's hearts and minds. So we thank you, father, amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, father, we come to you, lord, and we just pray, father, for all those that have got heavy hearts this morning, the scriptures that have come out. Lord, Father, for those that are worried about financial stuff, those that are worried about relationships, those that are worried about their church life, their ministry, their workplace, their children. Father, we just pray for those that are worrying about life itself. Father, that you would just pour out, lord, your love around, lord, and people will feel the love of God today and they will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in them because, as the scripture says, you rescue us, you set us free, free that there is a hope in christ, jesus and we are saved. So, lord, we thank you, lord for john 3 3. You must be born again. The greatest message that the world has ever heard came out of a little room with jesus christ and nicodemus. The greatest sermon has traveled all around the world without social media, without, without cameras, without the internet. When Jesus said to Nicodemus the greatest gospel message you must be born again. I thank you, jesus, that's. All that counts is that we're born from above. And you rescue us, lord, in our work, in our lives, in relationships, in just general living. You rescue us because you are a God that rescues the brokenhearted. You are the one Lord that says come to me, all of you that are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest. We pray, dear God, for those that are seeking, those that are looking, those, dear God, where their bodies, lord, are reacting to the Holy Spirit and they're unsure of what's happening in their lives and suddenly they feel a call deep in their innermost being. We thank you that Jesus is calling, the word is calling, salvation is calling. I thank you God. It's not about church. I thank you God. It's not about religion. It's about being born again, and it can only come from above, as christ said. That greatest sermon has traveled the whole globe without the internet, without radio, without the help of cameras. It's the greatest and the shortest message that the that we could say a preacher ever gave you must be born again. You can't see and you can't enter what a message. And the world is talking about Jesus. The world is talking about the King of Kings. In one way or another way, father, we come to you, our Savior, our Redeemer. You are the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through thee and in the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 1,. This is for every one of us today. Everyone that is linking, that is watching, that is listening. This is for everyone today, wherever you are across the world. John 14, verse 1,. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and trust also in me. That is listening. This is for everyone today, wherever you are across the world. John 14, verse one do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in god and trust also in me. Do not let your hearts be troubled, wherever you are at work, at home, on the commute, at school, university, wherever you are at this moment. Take john 14, verse one do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. God has you, the Holy Spirit has you, Jesus Christ has you. Let's just trust him. Let's just trust him, let's just rest in him.

Speaker 2:

As Andy has just said, peace I leave you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Speaker 2:

It is so critical that we deal with fear. We deal with fear. How do we deal? We can't. We can't deal with fear, but Jesus Christ can. So we talk and we speak and we say, lord, lord, I've got this abundance of fear. I want fear to go and I want joy to be in my heart. Lord, I want the love of God to be so strong that it drives out. Lord, you tell us Perfect love drives out all fear. So, lord, continue your perfect love inside of us. Continue, lord, through the love of God, to drive out all fear the fear of not being able to pay the bills, the fear of living, the fear of dying, the fear of going to work, the fear of going to a meeting, the fear of getting caught in social activities, the fear of coming out the house, the fear of not wanting to work and can't work. The fear of life, father, whatever the fears are, the fear of not having enough food, the fear of Christmas coming up, commercialized Christmas.

Speaker 2:

Father, take the fear away today, whatever fear it may be, your word tells us perfect love drives out all fear and your love is perfect and your ways are just so, lord, let your peace abound. Let the holy glory of god just rain down on this nation today. Let your love, lord, just sweep through this nation from the north, the east, the south, the west. Let your glory fill every house, every business, every school, every college, every building. Fill every area, lord, with your glory, your presence is everywhere. You are omnipresent, you are omnipotent, you are in all, you are about all. Father, you're outside of time, you're in time, you're time itself. You're sitting on the outside of the speed of light. Father, you are light. Jesus said I am the light of the world. God said let there be light.

Speaker 2:

Father, come, in this very precarious age in which we live, I pray, father, that the Holy Spirit will be so strong in our lives. I pray that the latter day rain will fall and the love of God will flood every human being in faith, out of faith, churched, unchurched, in ministry, out of ministry. I pray that humanity will fill and stop in their tracks today and just fill this love of God that just washes away fear and doubt, this love that just crushes sickness and disease. Lord, we pray that the love of God will just fill this nation, wherever we are, whatever nation we're in, whatever the time zone is around the world. This morning, father, here in the UK, father, fill this nation with your glory and bring this nation to the cross of Calvary. Bring us to repentance. Bring us, lord, to fall on our face and cry out to this triune Godhead Father, have mercy on the UK, sweep through this nation. But, lord, we thank you that your love is with us.

Speaker 2:

And we know that there is a strip back. We know that there is a strip back. We know that there is a strip back as we look at the church, as we look at religion. We understand that we're in the great falling away, and we've been in it for such a long time. So, lord, we thank you that we belong to the kingdom, the kingdom of God. I thank you, lord, for miracles this morning Cancer has gone, heart disease has gone, fear has gone, doubt has gone.

Speaker 2:

Lord, that perfect love drives out all fear, all mental health issues, adhd. Father, overthinking, overload of life. Lord, father, drive out all the stuff that hinders us. Take away all the fears, all the loneliness, all the worry about money.

Speaker 2:

At this time of year, right now, lord, when we're looking at the trees coming out, father, as we're looking as commercialization starts to increase in the stores, as the pressure is on come, lord, I ask you that at this Christmas time, this nation will fully understand what it means that we're not celebrating pagan stuff, but we are remembering the birth of the saviour of the world, the redeeming king, the redeemer, the saviour. His name is Jesus. He is the Saviour of the world and he's called you and he's calling you and he's not letting you go. He's not letting you go. You're trying to wriggle out, you're trying to push it all out, you're trying to get on with life, but God is calling you through Christ, through the living word. Jesus loves you.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ went to the cross for me, for everyone in the house today, for everybody online in the world of podcast, across every town, every city, every area of life. You are born again. You are born again. You are born again. You have been born from above. Come Lord, come Holy Spirit, Sweep for us today by your spirit, by your glory, draw us. As the scriptures were read out today, I waited patiently for the Lord and he heard my cry. Amen.

Speaker 3:

Amen. Psalm 27, verse 1. The Lord is my light and my salvation, so why should I be afraid? I love the confidence of David there. Amen, the Lord is my light and my salvation so why, should I be afraid? Hallelujah, the Lord is my fortress protecting me from danger. Come on, Jesus. He puts it into focus in verse 4 of 27. The one thing I ask of the Lord, the thing I seek most, is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.

Speaker 2:

What a scripture.

Speaker 3:

Actually, it's changed though, isn't it? He lives in us. He does. We've become the house of the Lord. God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in time of trouble. That's Psalm 46, verse 1. God is our refuge and strength.

Speaker 2:

Yes, Lord.

Speaker 3:

A very present help in times of trouble. I had the pleasure of baptising five people on Sunday and just hearing their testimonies, each one of them. One of them was my daughter, which was wonderful and gosh, she's had some knocks in life, real hard knocks. She actually said for a time I lost my identity, yeah, and she said I forgot who I was in God. But now he's come flooding back. Amen, and she chose that song Holy Forever and God. You know, she just loves God.

Speaker 2:

It's all about him, it's all about Jesus and he accepts us.

Speaker 3:

Another one, a 14-year-old lad whose parents recently got saved as well I had the pleasure of baptising them a few months back whose parents recently got saved as well I had the pleasure of baptising them a few months back. Thank you, jesus, he said. I went to a meeting with my parents. You know. He was quite what is going on and he said and then the presence of God filled him. Thank you, lord, he said. He stood there and shook as God met with him. Amen. Another one. You know why should I be afraid? It says in Psalm 25, verse 4, show me the right path, o Lord. Point out the road for me to follow, lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves All day long. I put my hope in you, this lady. What a brilliant testimony she had. I can remember again just a few months back this year. We had to go and pray around her house. She'd been involved in witchcraft, she'd been involved in spiritism, which is not, you see, churches that say Christian spiritualists.

Speaker 4:

That is ridiculous.

Speaker 3:

Spiritism is demonic, god detests it. It says so throughout Scripture. It is witchcraft Medium, means it. It says so throughout.

Speaker 3:

Scripture it is witchcraft, medium means witch. It's the same word what the Christian church of Satan. It does not make sense. Anyway, she was into all that and things manifested in her house and she even said she had to book hotel rooms. She was too afraid to go in. So me and a couple of friends went and prayed around her house, kicked all the the tormenting spirits out. Come on, christians, we've got authority, we've got the Holy Spirit, there's power. You know, I've seen Christians run away when someone manifests a demon. Why Cast the demon out?

Speaker 3:

the filthy things Anyway she got deliverance, she got freedom, she got salvation and she was testifying how, in love with Jesus, she is. One after another. Another one recently got out of prison. Hallelujah, Lord Found freedom in prison through Jesus Christ. He can meet you where you are. He is for you.

Speaker 2:

Yes, Lord.

Speaker 3:

In Psalm 24, okay, this is for those who you may be walking with God. You're doing everything as you presume is right, and we all do that, but don't trust on your own merits.

Speaker 3:

He's for us even when we're not for him. He's a God of grace. Yes, lord, but it's in Psalm 25, verse 4. Show me the right path, o Lord. You're making decisions, god's opening doors. You don't know what way to go. Whether you go to the right or to the left, you'll hear a voice behind you saying this is the way you should go. Walk in it. Thank you, jesus. Show me the right path, o Lord, point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Lord you know what Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Speaker 2:

Amen.

Speaker 3:

He is the one who spoke all things into being. Anything that contradicts what Jesus says is a liar and satanic in its origin. This is how you know you love me. Jesus says you'll obey my commands.

Speaker 2:

Amen. Thank you Jesus.

Speaker 3:

So those who try and twist the word of God.

Speaker 4:

I don't care what they say, they don't love him.

Speaker 3:

They love their own sin more. Come on, father, pour out your spirit Then. In verse 14 of Psalm 25, the Lord is a friend to those who fear him. He's a friend. He's a friend, he's your friend and he teaches them his covenant. Do you understand this covenant of God? You've been bought with a price, you've been ransomed. You have a saviour. What does that mean? Someone who stands in your place. So it's not down to you now, it's down to your trust in whether the saviour has done enough to save you or not. It's on him. When we look at the Passover, it's all about the blood. This covenant is purchased by the blood of Jesus. The old covenant, the Passover. They were saved through the blood of a sacrificial lamb. Where they had the blood of the lamb over their doorposts, they were inside. Judgment passed them by. Why? Because of the blood of the lamb, not because of what they were doing inside the house. There was not a knock on the door from the angel of judgment there was not a knock saying can I come?

Speaker 2:

in and see how worthy you are.

Speaker 3:

He looked at the blood and passed them by. Judgment passed them by. If you are a person of the new covenant, you've been bought with the blood of Jesus the one who spoke the universe into being the creator of all life, the one who is pure, the one who is holy, the one whose hands cast stars into space. The King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Holy One, the one perfect, sinless Lamb of God. He's the reason you're saved. The blood of Jesus Covers you completely. He covers your past, your present and your future.

Speaker 3:

We have one plead, and that's our saviour Jesus, the Lamb of God, who chose us before the Christ of the world. Blessed is the man and woman whose sins will never be counted against them. Why? Because we have one who stands in our place and he calls us his friends and he delights to live in us.

Speaker 1:

He's risen, he's for us.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he hasn't written us off. Even though a mother may reject her own offspring, I will never reject you, says the Lord.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

He will not tire of you, he will not give up on you, because he knows you better than you know yourself. He spoke you into being and he called you his very own. That will never change. So, lord, I want to thank you no wonder Romans 8 says there is nothing that can separate us from your love.

Speaker 2:

No wonder. Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

No wonder Paul said I am certain of this. I have absolute assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

No height, no depth, no angel, no demon, nor the past. Whatever Satan is accusing you of, it's under the blood. Amen, tell him to shut up. Yes, lord, nor the present, those accusing voices that say you can't even live it. I'm only telling the truth you can't, but the blood of Jesus covers your today, the future. When those voices say, well, you can't handle today, how are you going to get through tomorrow? Because Jesus will carry you. Nor the past, nor the present, nor the future. Pour out your spirit. There is nothing in all creation, and that includes your very self, that can separate you from the love of God, because it's through Christ Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Lord, you have a Redeemer, you have a Saviour. It's on him, pierced for your transgressions. Thank you, lord. Can you look at the cross and say it wasn't enough? Can you truly look Jesus in the eyes as he looks down from that cross, pierced, tortured, mocked, a crown of thorns upon his head bleeding? Can you say it's not enough? It's more than enough. Thank you than enough. Yes, lord, and he was crushed. Amen, because of our weaknesses.

Speaker 3:

Thank you we are noble ruins made in the image of god's, but fallen freedom. He's done it all. Even death could not hold him. He paid the wages of sin. The wages of sin is death. He's paid it in full. But death could not hold him, for he was sin less. He'd earned the wage but hadn't paid. He, he'd paid it but hadn't earned it. He died not for his own sins, for he was sinless. Death gave him up, but he'd paid the wage for you and me. He'd paid it, the debt, in full. He's paid for my sin. He's paid for your sin. Anyone who wants salvation can have it through him, because he loves you. Thank you, jesus, for all that you've done. No wonder I'm going to hold my head up high, even though enemies surround me. At his sanctuary we've got shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music. That's actually Psalm 26, verse 6. Even though the earth may tremble in him, we are certain and sure.

Speaker 2:

Amen, amen, amen. Brothers and sisters, we're coming to the table. We're coming to the table. We're going to break bread, we're going to take out a cup. It's all about the blood of Jesus, the redemption of sins washed in the blood of Jesus. You know Exodus 12, as you read that all the way through. It tells us about the Passover. It tells us so much, as Glenna says and the Scripture says, as the Word of God makes it so clear, the blood will be a sign. There is the blood of Christ over you for the remission of sin. And as we come to the table, you know, and we just come to the table this morning, wherever you are across the world, wherever you are across the world, however, you're capturing this broadcast, whether through visuals, whether through audible. Jesus loves you. Jesus christ loves you in the mess that we might be in. He's a rescuer. And it's time to come to the table as we break bread together this morning.

Speaker 2:

Father, I thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ and I pray for everybody around this table and all those that are online and everybody across the world, wherever we are. I thank you for this bread because it symbolizes the body of Christ, the body of the Savior of the world, wherever we are. I thank you for this bread because it symbolizes the body of Christ, the body of the Savior of the world. Thank you, jesus. Bless this bread, lord, as we hold it, as we take it, as we be still when we know that you are God. Thank you that your body was broken, but you are alive. You are alive and you hold the keys. You're a key holder, you're a saviour, you're a redeemer. Bless this bread, amen. Thank you, holy Spirit.

Speaker 3:

If they find, I'm just going to read from Psalm 29, verse 6. Praise the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. Amen. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me and my heart is filled with joy.

Speaker 2:

Amen. Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

I burst out in song and thanksgiving.

Speaker 2:

Amen. Thank you, Lord.

Speaker 4:

You were talking about friends and he's a friend. Well, I had John 15 open and in verse 14 it says you are my friends. Cleanse, friends cleanse us, lord, if you do what I command and it goes on also to say you did not choose me, but I chose you, amen, and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last that, then the father would give you whatever you ask in my name. But this is something we need to remember also. This is my command Love each other.

Speaker 1:

Yes, lord so.

Speaker 4:

Father, we thank you that your love was so powerful, so strong, so everlasting, that you gave up your life, the supreme sacrifice for us, and you shed that blood. Yes, lord, and we take the wine now to remember that Amen.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, jesus, thank you, holy Spirit. Father, we are blessed, lord, and as we sit in the stillness, as we just be, still lord in for these, these last nine minutes or so, lord in this service, father, we, we pray, we pray and we pray and we pray, and we keep praying, we keep talking, we keep bringing everything to the table, to the cross, to the scripture, to our god, to our king father, to our King Father. Move by your Spirit, move by your Spirit, lord. Refresh us, restore us, bring us to a place of hope. Thank you for hope, because there's always hope. Thank you that faith abounds. Thank you that we're covered in the precious blood of the Lamb, the redeeming King. We thank you that we're covered in the precious blood of the Lamb, the redeeming King. We thank you for redemption, for justification. We thank you, father, for the blood of Christ that was shed at the cross at Calvary. We thank you, lord, that the crib is empty. We thank you, lord, that the cross has been fulfilled and it's empty. We thank you, father, that the grave is empty. We thank you that the stone has been rolled away. We thank you, lord, that there's freedom Because of the blood. We thank you, lord, that every sin Was nailed to the cross Transgressions, sickness, disease, everything. We thank you, lord, that every sin was nailed to the cross Transgressions, sickness, disease. Everything was nailed to the cross of Calvary. And this morning, lord, father, we pray that you will pour out your spirit across the world, wherever people are, whatever their time zones are, whatever their life is, commuting, just crawling into bed, lord, getting up for the day. Wherever people are, lord, I pray and I thank you that salvation, lord is alive and powerful, because God is the saviour of the world. Jesus Christ is alive. Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world. Jesus Christ is the redeeming King. Jesus Christ is the coming King. He's worthy of all praise. We're coming to the close of the service in just a few moments and we just pray that you'll just Get to the cross today. Get to the cross, get to prayer, get to scripture, bring everything to Jesus. Get to scripture, bring everything to Jesus. Bring everything to Jesus. He loves you.

Speaker 2:

When it feels like the world has kicked you. When it feels like society has shunned you. When it feels like the workplace is a brutal place. When it feels like church and nothing's happening. When it's just measures and just protocol and just humdrum of living. Jesus is real. There's a life for you that is powerful. There is a life for you out there that is beyond human understanding. There is a life for you that is so glorious in Jesus. The valley is the highest. Every time you call on the name of the Lord, he hears your prayer. God bless you wherever you are across the world. Andy had something to share as we just peddled out of this service this morning.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I've got the book, the book, the book. And if you need a copy of a new testament, psalms and proverbs, I have a plan to hear that you may receive one, so that this is the most powerful book in the world and I just looking at John 20, the verse right at the end. Here it says these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 4:

Lord and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 3:

Change your life.

Speaker 2:

It's that simple. The word is power, the word is life. We are out of here. We'll see you this evening in person or online. For who's going to join us in the Lord's house and who will jump online wherever you are across the world, may God bless you and strengthen you. We thank you so much for joining us. Wherever you are this morning, may you feel the presence of the holy spirit. Just grab yourself a bible, sit back a moment, flick into the psalms of the gospel of john, maybe, and just come before the father and just rest in him. God bless, we'll see you later. Take care, have a beautiful day in Christ Jesus. God bless my brothers around the table, everybody in the Lord's house this morning, everybody online, everybody that's on visual and audible. We'll see you later this evening eight o'clock. God bless, take care, bye-bye.
