Embracing the Holy Spirit: A Journey of Faith, Transformation, and Renewal - (#687 - Elim)
What if embracing the Holy Spirit could transform not only your life but your entire community? Join us as we explore the profound significance of Pentecost and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Through the lens of Acts, Chapter 2, verses 1-4, we reflect on how the Spirit filled the disciples, bringing unity and the ability to speak in tongues. This episode is a heartfelt journey of prayer and reflection, where we seek the Spirit's guidance and find strength and comfort in its divine power. We invite listeners to join us in thanksgiving for this spiritual outpouring and to pray for breakthroughs that can renew our faith and connection with God.
As we navigate the challenges of modern life, we explore how surrendering to the Holy Spirit can provide guidance in all areas, from personal mental health struggles to societal dilemmas. Drawing inspiration from biblical teachings in Joel and Corinthians, we discuss the enduring promise of faith, hope, and love. We also look at the spiritual leadership transition from Moses to Joshua, emphasizing the themes of renewal and obedience to God’s call. Through a fervent prayer for healing and revival, we express our hope for a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit in the younger generation. This episode serves as a testament to the transformative power of faith and the miracles possible through divine grace.

Good morning, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 1:Wherever you are this morning across the world. May God bless you and strengthen you. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is with you. All things are possible to those who believe. We thank you for joining us this morning and whatever your life looks like we're sorry that we got a camera issue again this morning, but it's sort of there, we're almost there. But wherever you are today, may the Lord bless you and touch your heart and your mind and your body and your soul. As we just gather around the word of God and whatever is going on in your lives, we're going to go to the book of God and whatever is going on in your lives, we're going to go to the book of Acts. Good morning and welcome to everybody that's capturing this service across the world. Wherever you are this morning, we thank God for your life and we pray for an outpouring of the spirit of the living God over your life and whatever is going on, may God bless you and be with you. We thank you to those that are downloading the podcast, the services and wherever you are at this moment in time. May the lord be with you and strengthen you. The lord is good. His mercy endures forever.
Speaker 1:We're in, uh, acts. We're in the book of acts this morning. We're in act, chapter two, and we're going to pick it up from verse one, acts, chapter two, verse one, and we just want to see what the lord is going to say to us this morning. But wherever you are, you know we are living in very powerful, very rich times in the word of god and there are great and there are amazing things happening this morning. But wherever you are, we pray that the love of god and the fire of the holy spirit will be over each and every one of you. I asked each and every one of us right now that the love of god will just rest on our shoulders. We are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made, and God is with every one of us. So wherever you are today, we just pray that you will strengthen us and you will just enrich our lives, holy Spirit. But thank you, thank you so much from the very depth of our heart as the Lord leads us in paths of righteousness for his namesake. But we're in Acts, chapter 2, verse 1. This morning. Let's just pray that the Holy Spirit will move over each and every one of us that we will feel his love and his mercy and his goodness.
Speaker 1:And for those that are joining this, you know, through this podcast, wherever you are, we just want to say thank you so much. You know, we keep saying it and I will keep saying it. I keep repeating myself because people are capturing this at different times around, wherever they are catching different servers around the world. But for those that listen back to this through the world of podcasting, we thank you so much for the tens of thousands of downloads, wherever you are across this world. And as we just sit and as we be still, as we rest in the arms of Christ, verse 1, verse 1, and we'll just read a little way through to verse four in acts uh.
Speaker 1:Acts, chapter two, and it says when the day of pentecost came, they all were together in one place. Suddenly, the uh, the sound like a blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came and rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and they began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Father, we pray right now that the Holy Spirit will enable us.
Speaker 1:We pray this morning, lord, that wherever we are, that the Holy Spirit will enable each and every one of us. So, father, as we come before you, lord, we lift up the greatest name in heaven and earth. And, lord, we ask you, father, that we will just recognize that we have Father, son, holy Spirit living within each and every one of us, and the glory of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit will just move over our lives. But, lord, as they was in one place in the upper room just gathering together, lord, as they was in one place in the upper room just gathering together, lord, we ask you right now, lord, that the Spirit of God will just touch lives today, that we will realize that we carry the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And, lord, we thank you that it is the Holy Spirit that enables us, it is the Holy Spirit that gives us, lord, it is the Holy Spirit that gives us the strength that we require. But, lord, we look at verse 4 and it says all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:Father, we thank you that we are filled with the Holy Spirit. We thank you, lord, for the third person in the Trinity. We thank you that there is power in the Holy Spirit. We thank you for the glory of God. We thank you for the presence of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And as we come before thee right now, in Jesus' name, we just give you praise and honor and glory. That's due your name, lord. Will you strengthen us, will you carry us, lord, will you just melt our hearts today and bring us to the place to cross the Calvary Spirit of the living God.
Speaker 1:We just ask for breakthrough. We pray, father, that there will be breakthrough in the name of Jesus, lord, that you would just touch, lord, many, many of us today, that we will see your glory and your mercy and your favor will rest over each one of us. But, lord, we thank you that the Holy Spirit is our comforter, that the Holy Spirit is our lead, that the Holy Spirit is so key, lord, to our walk on this earth. So, father, as we lift up Father, son, holy Spirit, we thank you that the Bible says that all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Lord, we just pray right now, lord, that the fire of God will sit, lord, over so many people. Lord, that you will just rest over us today. Lord, that the fire of God will sit, lord, over so many people, lord, that you will just rest over us today, lord, and the power of God will move over each and every one of us. Lord, we just, father, we just come before your name today, lord, and say Spirit of the living God in this nation that we are in right now.
Speaker 1:Lord, father, we just want, dear God, to move. Lord, we want, dear God, a move of the Holy Spirit. We need a move of your love, father and Lord. We just pray, lord, for such an outpouring of your love and your mercy and Lord, we see the timeline very, very active, lord, and we just ask you, father, for all those that are asking for prayer, all those that are calling on the name of Jesus, all those that will move through Lord, that there will be a significant move of the Holy Spirit, that lives will be saved, that people will be saved, lord, that the blood of Jesus will be over so many people. So, lord, as we rest in the arms of Christ.
Speaker 1:Lord, will you set the captives free today? Lord, will you set the captives free. Lord, we need God, the power of God, we need the Holy Spirit. We need, lord, revelational knowledge. We need, father, your love and your mercy and your goodness. Lord, we thank you for your love. We thank you for your presence. We thank you, lord, for what you're doing.
Speaker 1:Lord, when we ask you, jesus, that you will just strengthen us today, come Lord, lord, will you pour out your glory over us today, lord? Will you pour out your spirit over us today, lord? We thank you for what you've done and for what you're going to do, lord, but right now, lord, we need great breakthrough. We need great breakthrough today, lord. We need great breakthrough in our lives. But you're telling us, lord, that all of us, all of them, everyone was filled with the Holy Spirit, and we thank you that the Holy Spirit enables us, the Holy Spirit leads us, the Holy Spirit takes us. The Holy Spirit is so powerful and, lord, we need to realize that we need more. But, lord, when we say we need more, we are overflowing. But, lord, let us recognize, lord, that we are filled, that we are filled with the Holy Spirit, lord, that there is a great, great move of you across this nation. But, lord, as we come before you, we thank you for miracles, but right now, lord, for Acts, chapter 2, verse 1 through to 4,.
Speaker 1:Lord, when the day of Pentecost came, they was all together in one place. We pray that the church in this nation will be together in one place. We pray, lord, for unity through the word of God. We pray for unity through the word of God, lord, that the hand of God will be so strong, lord, that there will be unity as we gather, lord, in one place, as we rest, as we be still, as we reflect, lord, as we look, as we move, as we just look for the hand of God over our lives.
Speaker 1:Lord, come, lord, will you refresh us today? Will you lead us today? Will you lead us today? Lord, you are worthy of all praise and we, father, we thank you, lord, that you are filling us, that we are full, that we are overflowing, lord, that there is a move of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
Speaker 1:Come, lord, in your graciousness, in your power, lord, in the way, lord, that things are moving in this nation, we need a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So, lord, we thank you for power, we thank you for your love, we thank you for your goodness. It's the spirit of the living God. Lord, will you open our heart today, lord, will you open our mind today? Will you open our eyes, lord, and let us come to that realization that the Holy Spirit, Lord, is so strong and so powerful within us, lord, that all things are possible to those who believe. And right now, lord, father, we thank you for great breakthrough, we thank you for breakthrough. In the name of Jesus, we thank you, father, that your love is moving, that your mercy is moving, that your grace is moving, lord, that you are worthy of all praise.
Speaker 1:Spirit of the living God, will you open our hearts today, holy Spirit? Will you open our hearts today, lord? Will you enable us today, Will you strengthen us today, lord, let there be healing today, let there be miracles today. Let there be, lord, a great revival in our hearts, lord, let there be a great revival in our hearts today, lord, let there be a great revival in our hearts, lord, lord, let our hearts, lord, be revived, lord, let there be a great awakening, a great stirring, lord, a great stirring in our innermost being, that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit will just move on our lives and you will just strengthen us, lord, and you will lead us, lord, in paths of righteousness. For your name's sake, lord, we thank you for your goodness and your mercy and your favor.
Speaker 1:But right now, lord, we want more of the Holy Spirit. Lord, how can we ask for more when we fall to the full measure? So, lord, I believe the prayer will probably be Lord, god, show me, show me how much I'm filled. Lord, you tell me, my cup runneth over my cup runneth over, lord, that there is a running over, that we are not empty, that it is our mind that plays the games, it is the mind that messes about. It is the mind, lord. So come, lord, will you move over us today? God, will you set those captives free, lord, that are trapped in situations? Will you set the captives free, lord? But, father, as we gather around the word, we thank you for miracles, we thank you for the power of God, we thank you for the power of prayer. We thank you, the power of God, we thank you for the power of prayer. We thank you, father, for a great move, lord, of you in our lives.
Speaker 1:But right now, lord, in the book of Acts, chapter 2, verses 1 through to 4, when the day of Pentecost came, they was all together in one place. Lord, we pray that the church will be together in one place and that togetherness will be in the kingdom of God, with the doctrines of grace, with sound doctrine, all together in one place. Suddenly, the sound like a blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. Lord, will you fill every house with the glory, will you fill every house with the power of the Holy Spirit, will you fill every area, lord, up with the fullness of God? And it says so clearly there, the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came and rested on each of them.
Speaker 1:Father, we thank you that the Holy Spirit, the fire of God, is moving, that the fire of God is moving in homes today and houses today, that the spirit of the living God is making a way where there seems to be no way. And, lord, you tell us that all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit. Father, we thank you for that infilling. We thank you, lord, for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We thank you that there is a great infilling, that there is a great move, that there is a great move over our lives. Come God, spirit of the living God. We know that we've got the Father, we've got the Son, we've got the living Word, and also that we are full, to the full measure. We are filled to the fullness. Our cup runneth over.
Speaker 1:So, lord, we pray for those who've got mental health. We pray for those that are worried, that are fearful about life, for those that are carrying sickness and disease, those that are worried about debt, those that are worried about work and life. We pray for those that are really struggling with life itself. That the counselor, the greatest counselor this world has ever seen, the Holy Spirit, father, ignite that flame of faith in us today. Ignite, lord, that flame of faith today.
Speaker 1:Father, will you ignite the flame of faith in our hearts today? Jesus, come, holy Spirit, move over our hearts. Jesus, come, holy Spirit, move over our hearts. Lord, awaken this nation, awaken the church to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord, will you move over this government? Will you move through the parliaments? Will you move for education? Will you stir the church across this nation for a walk with thee like we've never walked with you before? Will you stir God? Will you stir us like never before, father, will you enrich our lives like never before. Father. Lord, let there be an outpouring. Let there be such an outpouring of your glory and your grace. Come, lord, we need Jesus Christ, lord, I need Jesus Christ, we all need you.
Speaker 1:Father, spirit of the living God, as we gather around the table for prayer, as we break bread together, as we just read and pray through the scriptures, lord, open our hearts today, lord. Open our hearts today, lord and Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way. Open our hearts, lord. Let the fire of God descend on us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Good morning to everybody. Good morning. The Lord is with us, wherever we are scattered across the world. May God strengthen you and bless you. You know, we have just started off in the book of Acts, chapter two, verses one, through down to the end of verse 4. And the Bible says as the Spirit enabled them. The Holy Spirit enables us, not the church, not the system. The Spirit enables us. So, father, I pray that the Holy Spirit will enable us. In Jesus' name, amen. Good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3:As soon as you started there. There's something that really struck me on the day of Pentecost. On that day, everything changed, it changed.
Speaker 1:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:If you go back to Acts 1, verse 26, then they cast lots for Matthias, and Matthias was selected to become an apostle. Then they cast lots. That's the last time they do that. Everything changed at Pentecost. Everything, Everything was made new. The promise, the promise of the Holy Spirit, was given In Peter's first message. He quotes Joel In the last days. By the way, we're still in the last days.
Speaker 1:Amen.
Speaker 3:We are still in the last days, yes. Lord Tellios, when perfection comes, telios, that's when all things are made perfect.
Speaker 1:Come on, jesus, it's in Corinthians.
Speaker 3:When perfection comes. Now, telios actually does mean the completion of all things. Until then, these three things remain.
Speaker 1:Wonderful God.
Speaker 3:Until completion, these three things remain Faith, hope and love.
Speaker 2:Yes, lord, but the greatest is love.
Speaker 3:Why? Because that's the one thing that will remain at Telios when perfection comes, when Jesus comes back. You won't need faith, you won't need hope.
Speaker 1:Come on, lord. Thank you, jesus, because we'll be with him who hopes what you've already got?
Speaker 3:Until then, god has promised to leave his Holy Spirit. In the last days, god says, I will pour out my spirit on all people amen.
Speaker 3:Thank you your sons, your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Come on, lord, you said it. Pour out your spirit. Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams. Amen, in those days, and we're in them, I will pour out my spirit, even on my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy Lord, we need you, we need you, the church needs God. See, up until then they were still casting lots. Now they relied on the Holy Spirit. Thank you.
Speaker 1:Jesus For everything You'll see.
Speaker 3:Paul writes we went to go there, but the Holy Spirit thank you, jesus, for everything you'll see. Paul writes we went to go there, but the Holy Spirit stopped us. Or the Holy Spirit called us to go there. They were a spirit led church. That's what we need. I don't know if you've heard, but the Wesleys are dead yeah.
Speaker 3:George Whitfield's dead. Catherine Coleman, she's dead, reinhard Bonnke's dead, but Jesus is dead. Catherine Coleman, she's dead. Reinhard Bonnke is dead, but Jesus All those that went before us are gone, but the Holy Spirit is here. The one who empowered them to do the things that they did is still here. I want to go to Joshua, and actually Joshua. If you read through verse 5, I'm not going to do it now, there's too much going on. But what happened in there? Suddenly, god says to Joshua, when he calls him, moses is dead. Now you Josh.
Speaker 1:Come on now.
Speaker 3:Now it's up to you Be strong and courageous, be bold, be strong and courageous as things unfold in chapter 5, suddenly all the males are getting circumcised. They've come through the wilderness. Now they're coming back to the covenant. They're going back to those ancient ways. They're going back to what God called them to do. They just wandered through the wilderness. They let a lot of things go. Suddenly they're back, suddenly they're doing the things and they are getting right with the Lord, their God. Then, before they go into Jericho Amen, because God is calling them.
Speaker 3:He says everywhere you place your feet you're going to, I'll be with you. It will be yours. The promised land was given with a promise, but taken with battles. Come on, lord. And here's where the battle really shows what the battle is all about and where success comes from. And this is chapter five from verse 13. And I'll be reading from the NLT when Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a sword in hand. Joshua went up to him and demanded are you a friend or foe?
Speaker 3:Thank you Actually other translations say are you for us?
Speaker 2:or for them.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and he says neither. Neither. Here's Joshua the man of the promise. Here's Joshua following on from Moses. Here's Joshua the leader of Israel. And he says to the captain of God's armies are you for us or are you for them? He says neither. And this is what it's all about. He said I'm for the Lord. Thank you, jesus, I'm for the Lord. Moses was who he was because he followed the Lord.
Speaker 3:He was a man just like you and me called of God, as was Elijah, a man just like you and me, but he followed God. It's all about God At this. Joshua fell with face to the ground in reverence. I am at your command. Joshua said Do what you want with your servant. What do you want your servant to do? The commander of the Lord's army replied take off your sandals. Let's understand where we are. Jesus said I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against her. It's not us. It's not about us. It's not about you, it's not about me. We surrender to the Lord's ways. We get filled with his Holy Spirit. We are led by his Holy Spirit. In Romans 8, it says those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. There's a lot going on in the church that is not Holy Spirit led.
Speaker 1:Have nothing to do with it. It's God.
Speaker 3:It's his ways, it's the only way. I am the way, the truth, the truth and the life. Jesus said what do we do, lord? Are you for me or against me? He's for us, but if we want to see his promises, we've got to be for him. Joshua's success was in this and this alone. He surrendered to what God wanted him to do.
Speaker 3:When he did that he was successful. You've only got to read through Kings. You've only got to read through Samuel. You've only got to read through Kings. You've only got to read through Samuel. You've only got to read through the rest of the Bible. When we commit our ways to the Lord and say your will be done. Now, what do we do? Pour out your spirit, lord, you see success. The trouble is the church has for years assumed and presumed we're the church of God. God does it our way. Oh no, oh no, it's a new day.
Speaker 1:Pour out your spirit.
Speaker 3:God. So those who've gone before us are gone. The mantle is on us, this generation. So, lord, I pray that your people will start where we should. Yes, lord, face to the ground on our knees, saying Lord, what do you want us to do? For, lord, you anoint the paths that you call us to walk on. Lead us, father, and we pray that there would be revival in our land, revival throughout the globe of normal people being filled with your Holy Spirit, that there would be many Wesleys, many Whitfields, many Catherine Cormans, many of your anointed people. Lord Smith, wigglesworths, breathe over us Jesus.
Speaker 3:Lord, all these people we stand in awe of. But they were just people. It was your anointing upon them. Anoint your church. Yes, father, for Lord, we surrender to your ways. We say your kingdom come, your will be done, and give us the privilege of facilitating whatever you want to do among us. Bring change, stir us. God, lord, we don't want to cast lots anymore, we don't want to do it our way. We want to hear your voice. Jesus, you said my sheep know my voice.
Speaker 1:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:You also said young men will have dreams and visions, and so were the old Lord that you will put your spirit on all, and Peter said you spoke through him. This promise is for you, your children, lord. So we pray for this generation, the children in the West, where the enemy is casting his net over so many of them. We pray, lord, that you would give them dreams, visions, prophetic words that your Holy Spirit would be mightily upon the children. Revive them, lord. I pray that the adults will be led by them. Where these schools set up these weird, woke agendas that are against you, I pray that the pupils will be saved and lead the teachers to salvation.
Speaker 3:Lord, bring revival in this land. Lord, I want to thank you that it does not depend on human effort or desire, but solely on your mercy. Rain down mercy, pour out your spirit. Lord, you've even spoken through a donkey, so we know, lord, you can speak through us. Yes, father, dead, army of dry bones, to stand and come back to life again and be filled with your very breath. Yes, father, breathe your life into your church. Restore, lord, the ways in your word. Let the church be a place of power, the power of your Holy Spirit, where the sick get healed, where the dead are raised. Cause your church to go out into the world, amen, and see your kingdom come. Yes, lord, for your glory and yours alone, have mercy. We ask Amen.
Speaker 1:Amen. Thank you, jesus, thank you, father. Pour out your spirit. Yes, lord, we believe in miracles. Pour out your spirit today, lord, across this nation. Father, we believe in miracles. Pour out your spirit today, lord, across this nation.
Speaker 1:Father, we look at the prayer line and, father, we pray, dear God, for a name that's just been bounding up there Danny. Lord, I pray Lord. Whatever that situation is, lord, we just pray, Father, and we thank you for healing in the name of Jesus. Wherever this man is, lord, we just pray, lord, that the glory of God will save him, that his heart belongs to Jesus, that, wherever he is across the world, there is power, lord, in his body now, lord, that there is a great awakening in his spirit and his mind and his body and his soul. Lord, that there is the power of God moving. Lord, we pray for his heart. We pray, Lord, for his lungs. We pray, dear God, for every area of this man's body. We pray for his mind. We pray, dear God, for the physicality. Lord, we pray, lord for miracles. We believe in healing. We believe in healing in the name of Jesus. We thank you that it is by your stripes he is healed. And, lord, in this prayer, we pray for anybody online, anybody in the Lord's house today, any of us, lord, that need healing. We believe in miracles. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is healing us. We believe that the hand of God is healing each and every one of us from sickness, from disease. We're free from the penalty of sin. We are blessed and highly favoured. Lord, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, we are, dear God, children of the Most High and Lord, we are, dear God, children of the Most High and Lord, we are born again. So, lord, we pray for Danny, we pray for anybody else, lord, on the timelines. We ask you, father, that salvation will visit lives today. Lord, if Danny is saved, thank you for that in the name of Jesus. Lord, if he needs salvation, we thank you that it's in your time and his heart belongs to you. So, father, we pray that salvation will fall over him, lord, within him, around him. We thank you that his heart belongs to you and anyone else, lord, skipping online today, anyone else flicking through the service. We believe that salvation is dropping in them and over them, because salvation belongs to you. So, father, we thank you for healing. We thank you for heart diseases going, cancer is going, fear is going, doubt is going back, pain is going, lord, shoulder pain, lord bone, dear god. Bones are being healed, bones are being strengthened. Ms is going at the name of jesus. Mental health is being dealt with today. In the name of Jesus. Cancer. We pray for anyone, lord, that is going through treatment at this moment, Anyone that is going through the fear, lord, of that word, that word of cancer. We break that word at the name of Jesus. Shackles are gone. We pray for people that are in treatment at this moment, people that are having operations right now. We pray that fear will go. Those that are sitting in front of a consultant that are waiting for their turn to go into that room. We believe that there are miracles happening now, in the name of Jesus. People that are traveling across the world are being saved. We pray, father, god, for this migrant issue, that we have a quick change in temperature in prayer. We pray, father, that every migrant that comes across the shorelines will be born again, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favoured, saved. We pray, dear God, for every human being within the UK that they will receive the love of God. We pray right now for Keir Starmer. We pray right now, lord, that you will save him and you will bless him. Lord, we ask you, lord, if Kirstama, lord, is not going to lead us in scripture truths, lord, will you bless him and just move him aside and give us a government that will stand on the gospel of truth? We pray for Sadiq Khan, lord. Wherever that man is at this moment, lord, it feels like he's gone in hiding. Father, we pray for Sadiq Khan, lord, that you will remove him out of the occult that he's in and, lord, that you will bless him and his family and you will save him. We pray for every mosque, every synagogue, every church. We pray for every witch's cauldron. We pray, dear God, for everything that's happening in the occult world. We pray for those that are caught in Freemasonry. That they will be freed from Freemasonry in the name of Jesus. We pray for those, dear God, that are caught serving Buddha, serving Allah, foreign gods, lord, we pray for the witches. We pray for black magic, white magic. We thank you for breakthrough, lord. We thank you that in the church of Satan, god is saving people's lives and Lord, in the area Father, god of devil, worship. It's broken. At the name of Jesus, because of the blood. We thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ. We thank you that it is by your stripes we're healed. We thank you that it is by your stripes we're healed, that we are saved, and the hand of God is over each and every one of us. But by your spirit, by your spirit, lord, move over this nation, set the captives free. Lord, we come against these world religions that are trying, dear God, to remove Christianity. We laugh and we smile in the face of adversity and we say to all those foreign gods do you know our God? Do you know our King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords the great, I Am the only King that walked this earth that never had an earthly palace. The only one that walked across this earth and had no medicine but healed uncountable people. The only Saviour of the world that died on the cross of Calvary. He is the King, he is the Lord of Lords, he is the Great I Am he is worthy of all praise. The greatest teacher, the biblical teacher that walked this earth, never had a degree or a doctorate, never went to university or college. The word is sharper than a double-edged sword. Father, we pray for unity through the power of the holy word of God. We pray that the church in this nation will rise out of the ashes of fear, out of the ashes of doubt, lord, that there will be a reviving move of the glory of God in our hearts today. Set the captives free, break every shackle, every chain of adversity. Spirit of the living God, we come against that suicide spirit. We come against that sickness spirit. We come against doubt and fear. But, Lord, all the names that abound in online today, the online church, spirit of the Living God. We pray that there will be a great awakening in their heart today, that they will feel the fire of God, the rain, the rain of God, lord, let it rain today, as it rained in the desert, as it rained in the wilderness. Manna as manna fell. Lord, let the Holy Spirit, lord, lord, just take us to that place of refreshing, uh, sense, lord, of a great awakening in our spirit. We know that we are full to the full measure, but alert us today of the power that is living within the skin that we walk in pour Pour out your spirit, god. In the last days, in the last days thank God, I'm alive in the last days, thank God, I see what is happening through Israel, strengthen Israel. Lord, we pray that Israel will remove every terrorist group. Lord, every barbaric, hell-driven terrorist. Lord, remove those terrorist leaders off the earth. And Lord, we pray for all those terrorists. Lord, either save them or remove them. In the name of Jesus, set the captives free. Let there be peace today by the power of the Holy Spirit, move over this nation In Jesus' name, amen.
Speaker 2:Amen, amen. Holy Spirit seems to be on our thoughts this morning and this seems to be a theme coming through. And just a few verses from John. John, chapter 13, verse 34.
Speaker 1:Thank you, lord, a new command I give you. Thank you, lord, a new command I give you.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus. Yes, Lord Love one another Amen. As I have loved you.
Speaker 1:Yes, Father.
Speaker 2:So you must love one another Pour out your spirit. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples. Thank you. Jesus If you love one another. That's right from the gospel. Yes, lord, right from the gospel, right from the gospel and a command for each one of us is to love one another, and chapter 14 goes on and promises the Holy Spirit. If you love me you will obey what I command.
Speaker 1:And.
Speaker 2:I will ask the Father and he will give you another counsellor to be with you forever the Spirit of truth.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Lord. And then Jesus promises his disciples I will not leave you. And that's the same promise for each one of us, that he will not leave us.
Speaker 1:Amen.
Speaker 2:He promises the Holy Spirit and we need to be filled constantly with the Holy Spirit. I think when I was a teenager, some of the teaching that I received is like we're like a bucket with a hole in it and Holy Spirit leaks out and we need to be constantly filled, Filled with God's Spirit.
Speaker 2:And that's what we've been praying this morning. We've been praying for Holy Spirit to come and be with each one of us, to fill us afresh with the power, with the love that we should have for one another. And that's why we take the gospel, that's why we sit here around the microphones, because we love one another and we want the love of Jesus to go across the airways to touch people, to bring them to Christ, the one and only and true saviour of the world.
Speaker 2:So, father, we just pray that you will be touching lives at the moment that your spirit will spread across the nation, will spread around the world, bringing people to Christ. And there is that love, that love that you first shown by going to the cross and dying and making that supreme sacrifice for each one of us.
Speaker 2:We thank you, father, god, that we can be drawn to you by your son, jesus, who you sent into the world, and we thank you that you didn't leave us alone because, as we read from acts, that you sent your spirit, the powerful spirit that lives within each one of us. We cannot say jesus is lord without the spirit, and we thank you that that is so for us. Around the table today, we we say Jesus is Lord, and if you can say Jesus is Lord, you have the spirit within you and that you are saved. You are saved. And, father, we also call us to be witnesses. Witnesses for you. Help us to be powerful, witnesses for you.
Speaker 2:Help us to, as someone once said, gossip the gospel we need to speak the gospel to one another, to each other, to our friends and neighbors, to strangers that we meet, that we need to be able to give that testimony of each one of us, the testimony that Jesus saved me. Help us to be able to communicate, communicate the gospel, and we pray, father, that you will be doing that right now. You will be speaking to people, you will be drawing people, you will those who are sleeping right now that you will speak to them through dreams and visions.
Speaker 1:Come on, Jesus.
Speaker 2:We thank you, Father, that you are mighty and you reached down to each one of us to save us. Thank you, father. We can only just say thank you, Father, amen.
Speaker 1:Thank you, Jesus, Poor I guess.
Speaker 3:Malachi 4, verse 2, says but to you who fear my name, the Son of Righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. Amen, you shall go out. Yes, I think this is the thing, isn't it? You shall go out.
Speaker 1:Come on Lord.
Speaker 3:Leaping like calves from the stall. It's the going out. See, often, why do we need to be filled with the Spirit? Again and again and again, you read through the book of Acts. They did. Pentecost was not a one-off time. As they went out, they were filled again and again and again. You want to be filled with the Spirit? Then don't just sit there waiting for feeling. Go out and share.
Speaker 2:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:Go out and give it away. So, lord, again we're going to give away prayer for healing right now.
Speaker 1:Yes, Father.
Speaker 3:Lord, we know that there is healing in your wings. We believe in healing Father. So, Lord, I'm going to name a few who need healing.
Speaker 1:Yes, Father, Amy, Sarah.
Speaker 3:Margaret Jessica Harrison. Lord, I pray that you'll meet with these people. Ian and Claire, meet with them. You know the needs, lord and they're big. Come and heal them in Jesus' name and Lord, I pray that many would go out For those listening. Lord, whatever sickness they have, just put your hand on where you're ill and, in the name of Jesus, be healed. And start naming people yourself who need healing. Pray that God will meet with them and heal them. The testimonies we have of healings yes.
Speaker 3:Lord. I've seen tumours disappear, thank you Jesus. I've seen those who were brain dead, where the medical staff said there's no hope. I've seen them wake up again. Come on, because of the power of prayer. So, in the name of Jesus, we speak over these airwaves. These people we've named, these people on our hearts. Come and heal them, jesus, come and heal them. Come and move. Let there be a healing revival in the nations and wake your church up. Lord, pray that we would go out Anyone who's received a healing. Go and tell someone, share your story and then pray for them.
Speaker 2:This is how the gospel spreads.
Speaker 3:We gossip the good news. What's the good news? Jesus is alive. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. And when you have a testimony, testify about it, share it with someone. Thank you, lord, and we thank you for your promise that you are with us, always, always until we see you face to face. Lord, we've got you. What, oh Lord, what a gospel. Come on, Lord. Not only have we identity in you, for we were made in your image.
Speaker 1:Thank you for healing today.
Speaker 3:Even though we were flawed and we turned away. You paid the cost. Amen that we may be restored to you. Yes, father, and more than that, lord, the height of transcendence is being filled with your presence, having you fill your temple, which is us. Thank you, jesus, for this gospel that we can have the presence of God with us. What a miracle. Yes, father, we who were once far off sin sinners tarnished, noble but ruined.
Speaker 1:Yes, father, and you've paid the lot.
Speaker 3:In the one sense, we are sinners, saved by grace and that alone, but in the other, Lord, we're seated with you in the heavenly realms because of everything that you've done.
Speaker 1:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:It's not dependent on us, it's by grace and mercy. So move through your church, anoint your people and break out with healing in your wings.
Speaker 1:Amen, amen. Thank you, father, thank you, holy Spirit. Lord, move across the airways today, lord. Move through Lord the podcast, move through every area of life. And if you're online with us today as we continue through this service, if there's any names, if there's anyone that needs prayer, you know, just put them on the timeline. You ain't got to put their name and address their postcode, but just put their first name. You know, just acknowledge their name. You know you might want to keep it private, you might want to put it on there, but as we're talking and praying through and as we're believing, you know, as we're in the book of acts and there is an outpouring of the holy spirit, you know there always is an outpouring of the holy spirit. God is always moving. God is always moving, but let's believe, let's ask the lord that he will take us up to the next level and then up to the next level, then the level of belief that all things are possible to those who believe those names in your life, those names in your culture, those names at work, at home, wherever you are, that need their miracles. Believe for the miracle, believe that there is breakthrough in the children, believe that there is breakthrough in your life. Believe that there is breakthrough. Believe, see, that the chains that was around your ankles are gone, the shackles are gone. Tell yourself, I'm soaring on wings as of eagles, I'm coming out of the ashes of rubbish. I'm coming out of the ashes of fear, of doubt. I'm healed. In the name of Jesus and for those you know that have been with us over the last few weeks, with Donny and Margaret, we thank God that Margaret is back on the UK terra firma, that they landed well yesterday. So we believe in miracles.
Speaker 1:Come on church, let's rise up. Let's rise up in prayer. Prayer is powerful. Wherever you are, you don't need a crowd, you just need the word that is fired in you. Today, wherever you are, you know, sing the psalm, sing, sing psalm 23. Get the word of god in your spirit. Realize that you are filled to the full measure of the glory of god. Sickness has gone, fear has gone, doubt has gone. Wherever you are at this moment in time, we pray that the love of god is over you.
Speaker 1:We are in the book of acts, chapter 2. We're coming to the table very, very soon. We're going to break bread, we're going to take a cup, but believe for that miracle. Believe for the miracle in your life, believe for the healing, see in ways that we've never seen before. And what do you mean, ben? I mean by faith?
Speaker 1:Go to Hebrews. Go to Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now faith, now faith, let's rise, lord. Will you stir every one of us, lord, will you fire us up? Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Lord, our faith is being stirred, our faith is rising. Our faith is in the word. Our faith is in the Holy Spirit. Our faith is in Jesus Christ. Our faith is in our God. We trust you, lord, like never before. End of the road. As we are looking, father god, for miracles, we thank you, lord, that all things are possible. Tell your heart today that all things are possible to those who believe.
Speaker 1:What I love about that scripture is I haven't got to go to church, I've just got to believe. So if you're driving, if you're commuting, if you're crisscrossing the globe at this moment, if you're sitting at home, you're sitting on the edge of your bed there's despair all around you. If you're crying, if you're fearful, if you're doubtful, thank God you haven't got to get to a building because God is with you. Wherever you are sitting on your sofa, sitting on the edge of your bed, sitting in your van, walking to work, commuting, cleaning, washing, ironing, cutting the grass, whatever we are doing in our lives, wherever we are, god is with you and you tell yourself I am saved, I am blood washed, I am sanctified, the hand of God is over me, I am blessed beyond human understanding. It might look bad on the outside, it might look terrible all around me, but my God is making a way in the desert. My shoes never worn out, I never went without nothing because, as God provided for the Israelites in the desert, god is providing for us. It might look like it's over. It might look like there's no way forward. It might look like it's no way forward, it might look like it's an impossibility, but by the power of God and the spirit of the living God, the Holy Ghost, all things are possible.
Speaker 1:Come on, brothers and sisters, come on, let's rise, let's realize we don't need the fabric of the building, we need Jesus. And we pray for salvation today. We pray for everyone that is flicking through the socials, that is listening to this podcast. We pray that salvation will open our heart today, that we will come to the realization that it is God that gives salvation. You must be born again. Tell the world around you you've got to be born again. You haven't got to have the elim stamped across your back. You haven't got to have free church stamped across your back. You haven't got to have no name of any church stamped on you. What we got to make sure is our name is in the lamb's book of life. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. We are living in the end of days. We are living in persecuted days, that the UK church is being persecuted.
Speaker 1:Lord, I pray that you'll strip and you will, lord, bring judgment to this nation. Bring judgment, lord. Stir this nation for the word of God, Spirit of the living God. Let fire fall today. Let fire fall right through parliament, right through education. Let the fire of God stir Keir Starmer to talk about Jesus Christ. Let the fire of God stir every parliamentarian to talk about Jesus. Let the fire of God stir Lord, god, sadiq Khan to talk about Jesus. Lord, save them, lord, from the errors of their ways. Bring them in the kingdom. Bring us to the cross of Calvary. Bring us to the cross, lord. Come on, jesus. Stir this nation in the holy, holy name of the God of Israel. Amen.
Speaker 2:Amen.
Speaker 1:Thank you, Jesus. We're coming to the table soon. We're coming to the table soon. We're coming to the Passover table soon and Andy's got something he's sharing with us at this moment. It looked like he was, but I'm not sure.
Speaker 2:I was thinking in terms of the bread and the wine and you referred to Hebrews and I've just turned over the page Hebrews 13.
Speaker 1:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Lord. Verse 11.
Speaker 1:Come on Lord.
Speaker 2:The high priest carries the blood of animals into the most holy place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the cab, and so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us then go to him outside the camp bearing the disgrace he bore, for here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come Through Jesus. Therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise. Amen the fruit of lips that confess his name.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Lord, and do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah.
Speaker 2:Father, we just thank you for that supreme sacrifice.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Lord, that you made for each one of us, and we remember that when we take the bread and the wine at communion time. We're just about to do that because you went outside the city gates where all criminals were taken, where all criminals were taken, but you, you went voluntarily to your own death on the cross and you shed your blood and we remember that as we take communion together. And your body was broken.
Speaker 1:Bring peace.
Speaker 2:Lord and we remember that when we take the bread. So we take the bread this morning and we remember and give you thanks that you died for each one of us yes, lord, so that we could have life. Thank you, jesus and your promise is that we should have life in all its fullness. Father, we ask you to come by your spirit once again. Be with each one of us, strengthen us, give us that confidence to gossip the gospel, to tell others about the love of Jesus.
Speaker 1:The love of God. We thank you, father, hallelujah.
Speaker 2:We thank you, father, and we take this bread now in your precious name, amen. Thank you, lord.
Speaker 1:Thank you Lord, thank you Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3:Jesus instructed us to do this until he returns. So communion is also a prophetic act. We do it knowing that he's going to come back for his bride.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 3:Lord. But God so loved the world, he sent his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Speaker 1:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 3:And again, as Andy's explained, communion is about remembering what Jesus has done.
Speaker 1:Amen.
Speaker 3:Yes, Lord, he did a very familiar thing the Passover meal, and at the end of the meal he took the wine and he said drink this, this is my blood. And in Isaiah 53, a forbidden text, the synagogues have to go through Isaiah every year, but when they get to Isaiah 53, they jump to 54. It's too powerful Because it talks about the Messiah Jesus.
Speaker 1:Yes, Lord.
Speaker 3:I'm just going to read a bit of it, starting from verse 3.
Speaker 1:Thank, you, Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3:God so loved the world, he sent his one and only Son and this is talking about the Son, jesus. He was despised and rejected. A man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried, it was our sorrows that weighed him down, and we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins. But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so that we could be whole. He was whipped so that we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We've left God's path to follow our own. Yet the Lord's laid on him the sins of us all. Let's drink this wine as remembrance. Yes, lord, thank you Jesus. Yes, lord, thank you Jesus, amen. So, jesus, I want to thank you that you demonstrated your love for us in this way.
Speaker 3:Yes, Lord While we were your enemies, while we hated you, you, while we were dead in our sin, you died for us. You gave yourself for us. You stood in the gap, the one that we could not do in ourselves. You've paid it in full and we celebrate that until we see you face to face. Thank you, lord, for salvation in your name, amen.
Speaker 1:Amen thank you, jesus, father we thank you, lord, for salvation in your name, amen. Amen. Thank you, jesus. Father. We thank you for this morning. We thank you that your word is power, your word is life, lord, your word is hope. Lord, there is a way, and his name is Jesus. He is the King of Kings and he is the Lord of Lords. He's the Saviour of the world. He's worthy of all praise. May the power of Lords. He's the saviour of the world. He's worthy of all praise. May the power of the Holy Spirit strengthen you and uplift you and carry you. Whatever your day looks like today, remember we never give up, we never give in. We fight the good fight of faith, because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. That the power of God is with you. May God bless you and strengthen you. Andy's just going to share something just before we duck out of this service this morning.
Speaker 2:Yeah, as I always say each week, if you want a copy of God's word, um, I have the power to provide you with a copy. Just get in touch amen, amen, amen.
Speaker 1:Wherever you are across the world, we just want to let you know that all things are possible to those who believe, and god is repairing, god healing. He says in the good book of Joel, joel, chapter 2, verse 25, I will repay. I will repay you for the years that the locusts have eaten the great locust, the young locust, the other locust and the locust swarm, my great army that I sent amongst you. I will. God is the I am. He's moving by his spirit, he's moving by the power, he's moving by the blood, because the blood was shed at Calvary's cross. Wherever you are in the close of this service, we pray that you will feel the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. We've just got six minutes, less than six minutes, of this service and we ask you that, wherever you are at this moment in time, that the fire of God will burn in your spirit today, that you will call on the name of Jesus Christ. God is repairing all the years that locusts have taken, god is restoring you, god is dealing. God is dealing, god is moving. God is with you in, in every area of your life, and we pray, in the close of this service, for these few moments, just before we click out of this service, that you will just call on the name of jesus. We got a few moments left. We just got a few moments, you know, and we we got about four minutes. Just take this time, this last four minutes of this service, just to seek the arms of christ, just to seek the arms of the king of kings and the lord of lords, just to seek the presence of god, just to seek him wherever you are. You know, if you need healing, call on the name of jesus. If you're looking for hope, call on the name of jesus. If you're looking for freedom, call on the name of Jesus. If you're looking for hope, call on the name of Jesus. If you're looking for freedom, call on the name of Jesus. Wherever you are, god is with you, never, ever, ever doubt, never give up. But we're there.
Speaker 1:We're hitting the buttons in just a few moments and we just take these couple of moments just to say, lord, father, by your spirit, open our hearts right now, lord. Open our hearts right now, lord, lord, just open our hearts at the end of this service, as we sit in this stillness, lord, as we just be still and know that you're god, as we lift up the greatest name in heaven and earth. Today, lord father, we thank, we thank you that there is power. There is power in the name of Jesus, that your love and your mercy, lord, is enriching our lives today. Father Lord, stir us, come on, god, in these moments, in these moments. We've got three and a half minutes. That's all we've got. We've just got three and a half minutes. The clock is ticking. Believe for the miracle. Glenn, I believe you've got something as we close.
Speaker 3:Yeah, ruth 4, halfway through verse 13. Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a Redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel. He shall be to you a restorer of life.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 3:Lord and a nourisher of your old age. Amen, lord, I want to thank you that you, who began this great work in us, is the one who brings it to completion. You have given us a redeemer. His name is Jesus. You've not given up with your people. You've not given up with your people. You've not given up with us. Thank you, lord, that you will nourish us even in our old age, and you are the one, as we've heard, who restores the years. You can restore years that the locusts have eaten. Let your blessings be upon the people who fear your name, amen.
Speaker 1:Amen, amen. God bless you wherever you are across the world, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God is with you. We thank you for sharing with us at this moment in time. We're out of here, we're pressing the buttons, we are gone and we will see you this evening, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, at 8 o'clock as we gather around the world.
Speaker 1:We're sorry about the visuals, we're a little bit unusual. We're just crossing over the internet and we've got things going on in the world of technique issues that are going on at this moment in time, but the sound is okay. That's more than anything. So we want to make sure the sound is radio quality. We know that you can find and you can back listen to all this stuff that we do. Just go into the internet and just type in Reverend Ben Cooper's podcast and all this stuff. You know it gets cleaned, it gets filtered and it is radio quality and you can just listen to it as you travel and do what you got to do. But thank God for every one, one of you, the tens of thousands across the world. May God bless you and strengthen you In Jesus' precious name.
Speaker 4:Amen, god bless, we'll see you later. Do you feel the shadows deepening? Do you know that all the dark won't stop the light from getting through? Do you wish that you could see it all made new? Is all creation groaning? Is a new creation coming? Is the glory of the Lord to be the light within our midst? Is it good that we remind ourselves of this?
Speaker 4:Yeah, the Lion of Judah who conquered the grave. He is David's root and the Lamb who died To ransom the slave. Is he worthy? Is he worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory? Is he worthy of this? He is. Does the Father truly love us? We know. Does the Spirit move among us and does Jesus, our Messiah, hold forever those he loves? Does our God intend to dwell again with us? Yeah, is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole? Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll? The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave, he is David's root and the Lamb of God to ransom the slave From every people and tribe, from every nation and tongue. He has made us a kingdom and priest to God To reign with the Son. Is he worthy? Is he worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory? Is he worthy? Is he worthy, is he?
Speaker 1:worthy. Is he worthy of this podcast? You can find us on Buzzsprout, Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, Google Play, Alexa, Mixcloud, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
