Speaker 1:You didn't want heaven without us, so, jesus, you brought heaven down. My sin was great, your love was greater. Oh, I could separate us now. What a wonderful name it is. What a wonderful name it is. What a wonderful name. It is the name of Jesus Christ, my King. What a wonderful name it is. Nothing compares to this. What a wonderful name it is. The name of Jesus. Death could not hold you, failed to hold you. You silenced the boast Of sin and grave. The heavens are roaring the praise of your glory For you I'll raise till I forget. You have no rival, you have no equal. Now and forever, god you reign, yours is the kingdom, yours is the glory, yours is the name above all names. What a powerful name it is. What a powerful name it is the name of Jesus. What a powerful name it is the name of Jesus, jesus.
Speaker 2:Good evening and welcome. Thank you for joining us. Wherever you are across the world, it is Friday evening, whatever your week has been like. We're going to jump straight into the scriptures. We are in the book of acts, chapter 4, and we're going to go acts, chapter 4, and we're going to go verse 12, and we're just looking at salvation. This evening we're going to pray, we're going to take time out, we're just going to spend some time around the word of god, just for these 30 minutes, you know, and as we just gather, and may god bless you and strengthen you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Whatever your week has looked like, let's just gather around the word of God and just rest in the arms of Christ. He is worthy of all praise. Never give up. Do not allow the worry and the fear of life to grab hold of you. But let's just get in straight away to Acts, chapter 4, and we're in verse 12.
Speaker 2:What a beautiful scripture. It says Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men which man must be saved. It's so, so interesting to understand that salvation comes from God and comes from God alone. So let's just gather for prayer. Let's just rest and bring everything to the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Father, we come to you right now, lord. We believe in salvation, we believe in the word of god, we believe that we are saved and we are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made.
Speaker 2:And right now, lord, we pray, lord, for an outpouring of your spirit. Lord over each and every one of us. Lord that you will allow us just to lean into your arms tonight, lord, father, it's been a heavy week, lord, whatever has been going on in our workspace, our life, family, lord, education, school life. Father, we come to you right now and, lord, we pray that you will just remove all that stuff that we've been through, all that stuff, lord, that we might be going through, and lord that you will just bring freedom to our hearts tonight, lord, wherever we are scattered at this hour, lord, on this friday evening, as we just gather around the word, just for these few moments, as we be still so, father, whatever has gone in our life, lord, whatever has gone before us this week, whatever is going on around the area of our life, father, we pray from that point of your spirit that you will move, lord, in a fresh way, in a good way, lord and Lord, you always move in a good way. But right now, lord, father, just pour out your spirit over each and every one of us and let us realize that salvation belongs to God and to God alone, and it comes from the heavenly father. So, lord, as we just rest in your arms, as we be still, father, we thank you that salvation, according to your word, is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Father, again, as we're in prayer, as we're in the stillness, as we're in the scripture, we thank you, father, that it's by your grace, by your mercy, that we are saved and lord, whatever week we've had, lord, whatever has been going on, lord, we believe that salvation sits over each and every one of us and, lord, we pray, lord, for an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, that there will be breakthrough in so many areas of our lives. Spirit of the living God, will you open our hearts, lord? Will you refresh us? Will you restore us? Lord, will you make a way where there is no way? Lord, will you just throw open the floodgates of heaven? Lord, I just pray right now, lord, that the love of God will be over each and every one of us.
Speaker 2:Lord, but we believe in salvation, we believe in the word of God, we believe, lord, that there is power in the name of Jesus, lord, and we ask you, father, tonight, that you will take all fear away, all doubt away, all worry away, lord, all trepidation of whatever has gone on this week. Lord, and we thank you that salvation doesn't come from the church. We thank you, lord, it doesn't come from the mechanics of religion, but it comes from God, and from God alone, through Christ Jesus. So, lord, we believe that we are saved, we believe in the word of God, we believe in the love of Christ, we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. So tonight, lord, father, wherever we are scattered across the world, will you bring peace to us, lord, will you bring rest to us tonight, lord Jesus, that we can rest in you, lord, and that we can rest in you, lord, and that we can find that place, lord, to be still and know that you're God. Father, we celebrate, we worship, we adore you, we thank you tonight, lord, that, whatever is going on, lord, that there is peace and peace is abounding, that your love, father, god is just radiating over each and every one of us.
Speaker 2:For John 3, 16,. For God so loved the world. Let's just remind ourselves that God loves us so much, that God loves us so much, that the power of God is moving, that the spirit of God is moving, that salvation is over us, that the love of Christ is over us, that there is freedom. In the name of Jesus, lord, and wherever we are across this globe. Tonight, lord, however, we capture this service, this podcast, father, there's this prayer time. As we be still and we know that you're God, as we just rest in the arms of Christ, lord, we thank you that there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth.
Speaker 2:So tonight, lord, will you strengthen us? Tonight, lord, will you enable us Because that's what the Bible says wherever you are, the spirit of the lord enables us. It, according to the word of god in in the good book, in the book of acts, chapter 2, it says the spirit enabled them. So tonight, lord, will you enable us, lord, to drop all fear? Will you enable us, dear god, to rest? Will you enable us, dear god, to find a place of rest, of calmness, of love, of mercy? Will you enable us, lord, that we just will be able to find a place of complete calm. But, according to the word, salvation is found in no one else.
Speaker 2:Lord, I thank you that we are saved, that that salvation, that word, savior, lord, that we're saved, that we are redeemed by the blood of jesus, lord, and wherever we are at this hour, spirit of the living god, we just pray that you will rest over us tonight, that we will find a place to be calm, that we will find a place to be still, that we will find a place, lord, to call home. That we can just rest in christ, that we can rest in your arms. That we can just take time out, lord, for this 30 minutes that we just gathered in the word of god. That we can rest in your arms. That we can just take time out, lord, for these 30 minutes that we're just gathered in the word of God, that we can just call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. Are you tired tonight? Are you weary? Has it been a long week? Maybe you're just dropping on the socials. Maybe you're just capturing this podcast scattered across the world. You know, as you listen to this audible, as you just capture this broadcast as it goes out on the Friday evening. I pray for each and every one of us that we will find rest for our body, our minds, our heart, and the good Lord will give us freedom.
Speaker 2:But do you realize you're saved? Do you realize what the Scripture says? Do you realize what it says in the book of Acts? How powerful that is. In the book of Acts it says salvation is found. It is only found in no one else. It is only found in God, in Yahweh, in the creator of heaven and earth, in Jesus Christ. It is found in Jesus. It comes from nowhere else, but salvation is from God and from God alone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved. It is through the blood, it is through the word, it is through the scripture, it is through the king of kings, it is through the Lord of lords. So, whatever this week has thrown at you, whatever has come at you, whatever is going at you, whatever is still going around at this moment in time, just remind yourself that nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 2:So, in this silent time, in this prayer time, in these moments of just radiating and just resting and trying to recuperate some energy. Maybe maybe you've feel like you've been zapped this week, maybe you just feel really tired and a bit run down. You know, god is with you. God is with you wherever you are and it says salvation is found in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. There is only one name, and his name is jesus. There is only one king and his name is jesus.
Speaker 2:So, wherever you are at this hour, the holy spirit is ministering to you. The holy spirit is leading you. The holy spirit is working on you. The holy spirit has got you. The holy spirit is the counselor. The holy spirit is talking to you right now. Wherever you are, across these airways, across this broadcast, whatever you are doing within the UK time, it is just about to hit quarter past seven or there or thereabouts. But whatever you are and wherever you are and whatever your life has looked like this week, just rest in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will give you strength. The Holy Spirit will enable you to walk the calling that God has for you. The Holy Spirit will just work with you and through you. You know, the Holy Spirit is so powerful. It is so powerful. The Holy Ghost, the glory of God, his radiance, his love, his mercy, his goodness, favor that abounds.
Speaker 2:I pray for you tonight, wherever you are, whatever your name is, whatever your situation is. Should we pray for mental health to go? Should we pray for you tonight, wherever you are, whatever your name is, whatever your situation is? Should we pray for mental health to go? Should we pray for fear to decrease? In the name of Jesus, father, we pray, lord, for mental health tonight, lord, father, we pray, lord, that our heads will be cleared. Tonight, jesus, we pray for our minds, lord, because our minds can be dangerous, our thoughts can be dangerous, our thinking can be dangerous. Our thoughts can be dangerous, our thinking can be dangerous, our attitude can be dangerous. So tonight, lord, will you sweep through us? Tonight, lord, will you sweep through each and every one of us? Holy Spirit, will you just sweep through our bodies tonight, lord, wherever we are across the globe, whatever the time zone is in our lives, will you sweep through each and every one of us?
Speaker 2:In jesus name, salvation is found in no one else. According to acts, chapter 4, verse 12 salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved, and that name is jesus. And jesus Christ is calling you out of depression. Jesus Christ is calling you out of fear. Jesus Christ is calling you out of that space. Jesus Christ is walking with you. The Holy Spirit is with you. There is power with you, there is love with you. The glory of God is with you Wherever you are. Tonight we pray that the love of jesus christ will strengthen you and feed you and touch your hearts.
Speaker 2:In jesus name, we ask you right now that you will feel the love of god, the power of the holy spirit, that you will just touch not just the hem of his garment, but you will just feel that you are in that court of praise. You know that lady with the issue of blood. She said very clearly if I can just touch the hem of his garment, if I can just get to that place, if I can get to the hem, I will be healed, if I can get to his presence. Maybe that's how we got to be in our lives, that we've got to be so strong in saying I've got to get to Jesus. I've got to get to the hem of the garment. I've got to touch the hem. I've got to be in his presence. I've got to rest in Christ. I've got to find a place of rest. I've got to find a place of hope. I've got to find a place. I've got to find that place where I can rest my head. I've got to find that place where I can be restored. I've got to find that place where the love of God is Wherever you are.
Speaker 2:Do you feel like you've got to get to Jesus like never before? Do you feel agitated, lord? We pray that you will take the agitations away, that you will take the fear away, the doubt away. Lord, father, if we've been facing the doctor this week, lord, if we've been in hospital, father, if we've got family members in hosp hospices, if we're just stressed out with work and we're really tired and we're really exhausted, father, we pray tonight that you will remove the exhaustion in the name of jesus. Father, that you will just deal with each and every one of us. Lord, that you will remove the exhaustion in jesus name.
Speaker 2:Father, lord, just deal with the mental health issues, with the sicknesses, the diseases, the labels that we have over us, lord. Help us, lord, not to live to the label, but to live to the measure of Jesus Christ. Help us to live to the word. Help us to live in the scripture, not to, maybe, the labels, dear God, of sickness, disease that may be over us. Lord, help us not to live to the labels that the world and society gives us, but to live in freedom, lord, we need help us to live in freedom tonight, lord, help us to live in that place of freedom. In Jesus' name. Come Holy Spirit, will you restore us, will you refresh us, will you make whole tonight, lord, will you just strengthen us?
Speaker 2:Lord, we need to be in the arms of Jesus, wherever you are, whatever your time zone is, across the world. Do you feel like you need to be in the arms of Christ? Do you feel like you need to get to the cross of Calvary? Do you feel like that you've got to get to that space, that you've got to get to that place where you can rest and you can be still on the love of God? Do you feel that you need to just come to Jesus tonight as we come to the table? Wherever you are, you can break bread and you can take it a cup and you can be still. You can do that anytime, whenever you want to do that. You can do that whenever you want to do that.
Speaker 2:As we're going to break bread, as we just take time out of the busyness of life and just reflecting in Christ, reflecting in Jesus, just resting in the arms of him. You know, we're just going to go quiet a moment, we're just going to take time and we're just going to pray over the bread and the wine. Wherever you are at this moment in time, and as you come to the table, as you be still, and you know that he is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and Father, we thank you for the power of prayer, lord, we thank you for the power of prayer. We thank you, lord, that you are dealing with us. We thank you that we are free tonight, that we are free, lord, from sickness, disease. We believe, father, we are free tonight.
Speaker 2:And, lord, as we gather around the table, lord, as we sit, as we be still, as we reflect over the week, as we just look at the cross and as we say, we thank you for the book of acts, we thank you for the book of acts. You know the book of acts, chapter 4, verse 12, and it says salvation. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved. Salvation is found, it is through christ, jesus. Christ has found you, christ has adopted you. Youed in. Salvation is found in no one else. We can't find it in any other situation. It will only be Jesus Christ, it will only be Yahweh, it will only be God, it will only be the great I am. Salvation is found in God alone. Salvation is found in God alone and no one else.
Speaker 2:So, brother and sister, as we gather around the table, as we break bread, as we just take time out, lord, we thank you that we're able to gather Wherever we are. We gather tonight around the table. We give thanks for the bread, we give thanks for the juice, we give thanks for the wine. Whatever we've got bread, or whether it may be a rye vita or a cracker, whatever we've got bread, or whether it may be a rye vita or a cracker, whatever we've got, lord, that is representing the blood of Jesus. We thank you, lord. So, father, we pray for this bread now and we pray for this cup.
Speaker 2:Lord, as we are gathering, wherever you are, across the world, as you gather around the table with Christ, as you come with us today, wherever you are, and as we sit and as we be still and as we rest in the arms of Jesus, brother and sister, we pray that you will rest in Christ right now, that the hand of God is over you, the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you, that the love of Jesus is breaking out in your life. He has always been with you. He is the El Shaddai, he is Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom. He is the great I am.
Speaker 2:As you break bread, wherever you are, you might be in the staff room at work, you might be traveling, you might be commuting, you might be sitting on the bench in a park, you might be at home, you might be wherever you are, you might be listening to this in your house. Wherever you are capturing this service, you know let's be silent before God. Let's be silent, try and be silent before God as we break bread, as you break bread right now, you know just pray for the bread and we thank God for the bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. Father, we thank you that the bread symbolizes the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And as we break bread, as we take bread, as we be still around the Passover table, we thank you, holy Spirit, that there is power in the name of Jesus. So, father, we reflect, we come to you now, lord, and we say yes, lord, yes, holy Spirit, yes, father, thank you, God, that there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth. So, lord, will you stir us? But, father, thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. So tonight, lord, as we break this, as we be still, and as we know that we are in the presence of the Holy Spirit, in the presence of Yahweh, in the presence of the King, in the presence of Almighty God, father, we thank you that there is power. Come, holy Spirit. Will you enrich our lives tonight, lord? Will you enrich our lives, lord? Thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of christ. And as we break it, wherever we are, across the world, on the visuals, on the socials, just listening, in the world of audible, for whatever means that may be, through whatever way, whatever platform, as we just listen to the scripture. And jesus said as often as you come together, break bread together in my name.
Speaker 2:And the bible says that after he broke the bread, he took the carp. And then he took the carp and he got the bread and he put the bread in the cup and it became sop and he handed that to Judas Iscariot. Now that is another realm altogether. That is another podcast, that's another sermon, that's another discussion on its own. So he took the bread and he dipped it in the wine and it became sop and he handed that over. And God is calling you tonight.
Speaker 2:Come the table, break bread with us, take it a cup together, do it in your own time, in your own speed. We're not going to do it in in a religious, robotic way. We are just here, we are relaxed, we are allowing the spirit of god to lead us, we're allowing the word to guide us. So, father, thank you for the bread and thank you for the wine. But wherever you are, you break bread. You might be in the staff room, you might be sitting still in the van, you might be parked up in the car, you might be just listening to this, you might be in traffic and you think, when I get home I will break bread.
Speaker 2:You know you can break bread and take it a cup anywhere you can be in the field of life. Maybe you're out walking, maybe you're out and it's the weekend, or it's night. You're laying in bed and you're distressed and you're capturing this podcast. Maybe go downstairs and grab yourself a bit of bread and a just a bit of grape juice something that represents the blood of jesus and in your kitchen, in your life. Just break bread on your own. Just break bread and just say Lord, I call on you tonight, I call on you this morning or the afternoon, whatever time it may be. Just call on the name of Jesus. Call on the name of Jesus. He is the King of Kings and he is the Lord of Lords. Jesus, he is the king of kings and he is the lord of lords.
Speaker 2:We've got about six minutes left of this service, so you take bread and you take the wine whenever you're ready. But just remember the scriptures that we've been in. We've been in the book of acts. The book of acts, chapter 4, verse 12. It says salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Father, through the breaking of bread, through the taking of the cup, through the stillness, through the service. Lord, we thank you that we are saved, that salvation comes from God, and from God alone. And Father, we thank you that salvation is a gift from God.
Speaker 2:According to the good book, salvation is a gift. I thank you, lord. According to the word. It's not by work, so that no one can boast. It's not by means, it's not by measure, it's not by matrix, it's not by deeds, it's not about the preaching capabilities, it's not about how many podcasts we do, it's not about how many times we hoover and clean the church. It's about that free gift. Do you realize that salvation is given and god has given you salvation? Maybe you're looking at life and we look at our lives and we and we think that we're not worthy. We are not worthy, we are not worthy of salvation. But no one is worthy of the love and the redemption plan of the lord jesus christ. But we are redeemed, we are and we have been bought with a price and god loves you.
Speaker 2:So, wherever you are, in these about five minutes, just five minutes, just take time just to breathe and maybe pray a prayer like this Father, I come to you tonight, lord, a sinner, a sinner, lord. I don't know what I'm about to say, I don't know how to say it, but, lord, I need Jesus. If there's anybody out there tonight that is listening to this podcast, anybody out there in the morning or the evening or the middle of the night, whatever the hour is, if you are looking for hope, you've stopped in the right place. If you're scrolling through the social networks, you've stopped in the right place. We would encourage you to grab yourself a Bible. If you need a Bible, please send a message in, send an email in here to us, and we will get you a bible. Wherever you are across the world, we will guarantee you, we will get you a bible. We just need your postal address and your name. We will get you a bible, because that's the greatest investment you will ever invest in in your life.
Speaker 2:But in these few moments, should we just come before the Father to the cross? Maybe you're still breaking bread. Maybe you're having some emotional moment at this time. Maybe you're crying, maybe you're laughing, thinking how can this be? How can this be that this eternal God would choose to save me? How can this be?
Speaker 2:The Bible is clear. It's not by works, it's not by deeds, it's not by academics, it's not by financial gain, it's not by religion. It is by grace we have been saved. The Bible says it is by grace we have been saved. We've been saved by the grace of God, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. You are here tonight, this morning, this afternoon. You are free. Who the Son sets free is free.
Speaker 2:Indeed, and we're coming to the close of this service. We've almost hit, you know the time where we've got to click out of this, but may God bless you and strengthen you. May the hand of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit lead you in paths of righteousness. But if you want that reference again as we come to the end of this service, this podcast, the scripture that we started off in and it's about salvation, that took us to the cross and from the cross it took us to the Passover Acts, chapter 4, verse 12. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved. Father, we thank you that we are saved by the name of Jesus and we carry a name. And right now, lord, in the close of this service, will you touch our hearts? Bless everybody online, strengthen us and carry us. Let your love, lord, just be wrapped around us tonight. Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, god bless you. We will see you again very, very soon.
