SCRIPTURE — Primary (NIV) “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 SCRIPTURE — Secondary (NIV) “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 Tonight we pray for every listener facing overwhelming darkness, those carrying silent pain, those battling thoughts that feel too heavy to name. Across South Korea, Japan, India, South Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Finland — nations deeply affected by emotional crisis — may this prayer find you, steady you, and remind you that you are not alone.  EMERGENCY PRAYER Father, step into this moment. For the one listening right now who feels they cannot see a way forward, hold them. Calm their racing mind. Break the lie that their life has no value. Speak peace into the storm. Whisper hope into their night. Surround them with Your presence and pull them back from the edge of despair.

  1. Peace over intrusive, frightening thoughts.
  2. Strength for the next breath, the next hour, the next day.
  3. Divine interruption of spiralling emotions.
  4. Comfort for the brokenhearted and wounded.
  5. Restoration of identity, worth, and belovedness.
  6. Community, connection, and a reason to hold on.
  7. Light that pushes back every form of darkness.

SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to this bit of prayer time. This is important. This is an emergency prayer. We're putting out there. I feel God is really laying this on my heart wherever you are, you know, gentle pastoral time. I just want you to gather with me right now. Very tender subject we're going to pray for. And it's for those areas of those dark thoughts, suicidal thoughts, you know. I just want to bring you in right now. If you are looking at life and it feels unbearable, if there are dark thoughts, if you're in despair right now, I pray that God is with you. And I want to invite you in right now. Whatever you're thinking, you know, come to Jesus right now. And I just want to make sure that you're safe, you know, and we're being really sensitive here in this pastoral tone. And we want to invite you in. This is a special emergency prayer for those that are really struggling with life, you know, really, really hanging on to life with every amount of energy. And I want to invite you in right now, this emergency prayer, and we're going to go to Psalm 34, verse 18. This emergency prayer when life feels overwhelming and unbearable. The prayer for hope, hope for the heart, strength for the night, peace for the nations that are coming under serious areas of mental health at this moment in time. I've got to tell you, wherever you are, please, please come to Jesus tonight. You've got to rest in the arms of Christ. Whatever you're thinking, there is always a way forward. However you feel, there is always a way forward. Never give up in hope. Whatever the dark thoughts may be doing, whatever you might be contemplating at this moment, I want to tell you now, get yourself a Bible and turn with me, please. Just give me three minutes, three minutes of your time. Turn with me to Psalm 34, verse 18. This is what the Bible says. It's so clear, brother and sister, you will you read this with me? You know, it's such a beautiful scripture. It's so beautiful. And this is what the Bible says. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. I want to encourage you now to hold up what you're doing. I want you to bow in prayer with me, and we're going to pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus, wherever these listeners are, dear God, that are right on the edge of reason. Lord, I pray tonight for listeners that are facing overwhelmed dark thoughts, those that are carrying silent and secret pain, for those battle and those thoughts, dear God, that are so deep and so heavy, too many to list. For those, dear God, that are in family settings and no one knows what's going on in their thought pattern. I pray right now across South Korea, Japan and India, South Africa, United States, the UK and Brazil and Finland, nations that are deeply affected by emotional crisis. I pray that the power of God will find you. You are not on your own. I pray that God will steady you and He will draw you in. Sister and brother, there's always a way forward. And I pray, Father, step into this moment for the listeners right now that are feeling so lost and beyond the dark thoughts. I pray that you will show them a way forward. Hold their hand, Lord. Hold their hand and guide them as their thoughts are racing in their mind. Father, break the lies right now in their thought pattern. Break the lies in their life. Lord, that they have, dear God, value, that they are loved, that God loves them. Speak to their hearts right now. Lord, bring peace to the storm of their life. Whisper hope, dear God, in their night tremors. Come, Holy Spirit, we pray that you will surround them with your presence, dear God, and you will pull them down into a beautiful place of rest. Tonight, Lord, we pray, Lord, at this dark hour, at this hour of worry and urgency, we pray, dear God, for strength to break through. We pray, dear God, for the next hour that we will breathe. We pray for the next day. We pray, dear God, for divine interruption, dear God, and you will spiritually speak to us now. We pray for comfort for the brokenhearted and the wounded. We pray, Father, that you will bless the lives of all those that are with me at this moment. Father, I just pray that you will give them, dear God, hope. Restore their hope right now. Let them know that they're not on their own. Lord, bless them, I pray. I've got to tell you, sister and brother, wherever you are, there is always a way forward. God loves you. God loves you, and just cry out to Him right now. Just pray this prayer, Father. Heal me, dear God. I'm scared of the night. I'm scared of the night time. Lord, I need restoration. Please, Jesus. Please, God. God is listening. You're not on your own. If you need help, please email us at infodailyprayer.uk. This is an emergency and a special prayer for those that are experiencing dark moments, areas of life where they just can't find a way forward. God is with you. Never give up. Talk to someone. There's always a safe space. Never give up. And we will see you tomorrow. God bless you. We're here for you. Just remember that. Take care.
